Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 233 Newbury Street, Danvers, MA

I am using my daughters Google account to leave a positive review as my google account has been disabled. This is a very clean facility. Mike signed me up 6 months ago and has been very helpful when ever I have a question. Just wondering why we have to go through google to leave a review instead of directly on the web site? Janet

I was having a crazy bad Saturday and him being kind to me just made me realize everything will be alright. he even went out of his way and brought me a trolley when I asked him if there were any spare. because all were currently being used and I had been waiting for almost an hour. he said no but when a spare one became available, he brought it to my car 🥰🥰🥰

Just want to give a shout out to Mike from the Newberry Street location in Danvers, MA.. My experience was actually at the Newberry Street, Peabody, MA location. When we arrived on the Peabody premises, Mike was there checking in on the location since nobody was on duty at the time. Keeping it short and simple, Mike helped me even though I wasn’t a customer of his Danvers location. He understood the urgency Of the request to fix the problem. He said he would call me back as soon as he had information and within an hour he did. Further, he stated that he had gone as far as he could go on a weekend and that he would address it come business hours on Monday. I just verified that this problem has been resolved and I want to give a big shout out to Mike for his professionalism and integrity. Kudos Mike! THAT was customer service! Public Storage, he represented you well!!

This was my first time renting a storage unit and Vivian made the process so easy and fun for me. I called last week to schedule my rental and had to keep pushing back my move in date and she was gracious and accommodating every time! She showed me multiple unit options on move in day as I wasn't sure of how much space I needed and was just a joy to work with in general. The units were clean and spacious as well with easy access.

Yesterday was my first time ever using a storage unit so I had no idea what I was doing. I chose this place because of the location but was still unsure. However, Vivian, the property manager, completely put my mind at ease as she helped me through every step. She personally showed me exactly how to access the gate and where to find my unit. Then when my unit wouldn't open, she easily and quickly helped me find a different unit that was even closer to the entrance. I have not received amazing customer service like this in a long time. Funny that there are good reviews of Eric here. A little after 2pm today I knocked on the locked door of the Danvers office but no one came. Then I called the number on the door and left a message for them. A guy was sitting in his car in the lot this whole time. I did a loop around the building to see if there was a place to return keys but there wasn't a place for that. Guy who was in the car was gone but the car was still there when I came back to the door. Door to the office was still locked. I knocked again and waited. Nothing. Pulled out my phone to record, knocked again, nothing. Tried the door again to show the camera it was locked. The guy who had been in the car comes out of the back room! It was Eric! He watched me knocking on the door and calling the whole time and didn't say anything. Turns out I only needed to take the lock off the storage unit and I was set. He was a nice guy when I talked to him but for him to watch me knock on the door, then sneak in when I did a loop around the building, and make me wait after that isn't good customer service. Good technology allowing you to use the app to get in and out. They raised the storage charge 2 to 3 months after I was in there and then again after a year. I was paying about 75% more than the initial rate. When I emptied my unit and informed them from the app I was closing out, they offered me a lower rate for the next 6 months on email if I'd stay.

Now i have been to a number of storage. And was looking for a new place to store my vintage motorcycle. So i stop into the Danvers location. 1 st thing I noticed was the place was well kept and so clean. Not like the other place i have been lately. 2nd i went in to talk to some about prices and what i wanted to storge. That when i met with Eric, welcoming me in and asked what he can do help. I talk with for a time and told him what i wanted. He said they could help and showed mt a round. Now i mush say eric is a one of kind so help and listen to what i wanted. NoT like other place that think of you as a number and yes you to death just to get your money. Eric showed and backup what he can do and you can tell he take pride in his site, after i found out he was the manager. I will be back with my stuff and tell my friends to talk to him

I went to this location to look at units for future use for a friend. I met with Eric at the front desk. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the entire property. The unit buildings as well as front office. I would recommend this facility to others.

I think in all my years, this is the cleanest storage facility that I have ever been in. They even have bathrooms and a water fountain. Eric does a great job and is very friendly and helpful.

This past week, I inquired about a rental storage. Upon arriving at the facility I was greeted by Eric he was helpful and very knowledgeable. The property was spotless. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a safe and clean storage facility.

I went in yesterday to inquire about a unit. Eric was able to answer all of my questions and the facility was very clean. I am glad I went in!

Rented a storage unit on line. Arrived at the storage facility with movers and family. Was unable to open the gate! I used the information provided by Public Storage but there were errors on our on-line account and still gate did not open. I sat on the phone with the corporate office who continued to claim it should work. STILL, it did not! Then after 45 minutes, a staff member walks down to request we move our vehicles. Then asked if we hit star before and pound after the code. And we explained YES! and still no access... the poor guy was dealing with corporate and struggling to assist us. Huge waste of time. Still don't have access and wish we rented elsewhere.
