Public storage at 495 Newbury is an excellent facility. It's very clean, organized and there are always wheeled movers available at the storage entrances. The property manager Eric is great. He is very pleasant. He is so helpful and is always available. He's made some of my big moves much easier. I needed more space, so I had no hesitation with continuing to add storage units at this facility.

The place is SPOTLESS BRIGHT CLEAN SAFE SHINY (even the chrome corners gleam - Eric cleans them himself and you can tell he takes pride in both his job and the appearance of this facility) Made my move as smooth and pleasant as possible. Would absolutely recommend.

Eric was fantastic!

Eric was simply wonderful. It was our first time renting a storage unit and he patiently explained everything. Public Storage is lucky to have such a helpful professional.

The good: it's very clean The bad: This place is a ripoff. They will lure you in with a great first month deal and a low rare. After 3 months they raised the rent citing 'supply n demand' even tho I had a unit and there were other units available. After a year they raise the rent again a staggering amount. Bait and switch at its best.. once you move your stuff in they know it's a hassle to move it all again so they constantly raise your rent As for Eric.. the property 'policy' is that dogs must be leashed. Understandable for larger dogs that are hard to control or aggressive. My dog is a registered service animal, is only 14 pounds, very calm, quiet and friendly. He stays right by my side and does nor wander off. Eric would harass me constantly to leash him. I asked if I can just box him in and he can't go anywhere since he's so little. He'd be in my unit and not able to leave. Nope not good enough had to be leashed. I can understand if he is bad tempered or aggressive or scary... I assure you he is none of those. We got into a bit of an arguement and he reported me n my dog to upper management. They called me to discuss the situation with my unleashed dog. I told the man my dog is quiet, friendly, a service animal, does not leave my side and is a small dog only weighing 14 pounds. Said man asked about my dog again n I said he's a 14 pound service animal who doesn't leave my side. He then said to me he didn't know those details and apologized to me for wasting my time. Apparently he has good judgement in this kind of situation. Fast forward a month I return to the facility. I get out of my truck and put the dog on the ground. As I go into the back seat to get his leash because Eric is such a gustapo about it I didn't even have time to close the door before he starts yelling at me to leash my dog or I'm not allowed in. Even after upper management apologized to me for Eric's actions he still harassed me about leasing my dog and didn't even give me the chance to put it on him before I went inside. Needless to say this led to another verbal altercation. Because of their constant price increases and this Eric wanna be supercop I pulled my belongings out of there and got a bigger unit for less money at another facility who only increases the rent $10 a year. Never again will I use Self Storage

This facility is very clean and well kept. My wife and I dropped in one afternoon to ask about renting a unit because we’re moving to the area, and will need some extra space for a while. Eric was very professional, friendly, and helpful. He went over the options available. We thought about it for a few days, and decided to rent a unit. We moved some things in a couple of weeks later, and again, Eric was very friendly and helped us to gain access to the unit. It’s very clear that he cares about keeping the facility in great shape and in being there to help the customers with their needs.

In need of a clean, well maintained storage facility, I found Public Storage. The site manager, Eric, had amazing customer service and I’m very happy with my sign on experience. He was thorough, patient and informative when touring the facility, going through the sign up process, policies and procedures. The space is just what was needed. Thank you!

We will need storage for the next 3 years and will give this location our business. After an extensive search for the lowest prices on 10'x10' units. I love the fact that this particular location has two ground floor levels. A brilliantly designed building on a sloped landscape makes it possible. The one thing that annoys me is the fact that even if the attendant is on property, you cannot get a hold of him, to pay my monthly bill or ask a question about items that can or can't be stored in a public facility. So it is easier to set up an online account and pay on a secure website.Other than that. The place is spotlessly clean and temperature controlled. So yes I would recommend this location. Cheers!

Eric was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the whole renting process! He gave us a tour and gave us all the details we needed before making anything official. I was running late for an appointment because of traffic and he was kind enough to stay a bit late for me (please don’t take advantage of that- just to show how helpful he was). The space was very clean and secure and I feel very confident using this location for storage!!

I needed a minimum of 2 storage lockers for a few months to store our stuff between moves and found this PS in Danvers to be helpful and in a great, easy to get to spot. Eric was easy to work with and found me convenient locker’s side by side, plus a 3rd locker with convenient elevator access.

It was my first time renting at public storage and the overall experience was great! The storage manager, Erik, was professional and knowledgable. You can see that he takes great pride in maintaining the facility and keeping it in top notch condition. He took the time to show me several units, and he explained the rental process in detail. I ended up renting 2 units. The property is super clean, well lit, very secure, and it’s easy to use the app to access the gate. I highly recommend this storage facility.

Eric was awesome and this place is spotless! Couldn’t be happier.

Have been working with their management team for a few weeks as my family had to move and our previous plan to use pods fell through. They were able to get us a big enough unit last minute, and came in to meet us late on a Saturday to get paperwork done. Recently we finally moved into our new place and decided to downsize units, Eric was able to handle all of the details for me, and I spent less than 10 minutes in the office, on this occasion I called ahead and he stayed to meet with me. Originally I tried to book the new unit myself online and this ended up with me paying a lot more and possibly loosing the rent I had already paid for the larger unit. Eric reach out on my behalf to the support team (I was busy moving) was able to get me refunded for my own mistake, and he was able to apply some of the rent I already paid to the new unit. Overall he saved me close to 300 dollars. I definitely suggest using this facility, it's new and is not as packed or beaten up as a lot of others in the area, plus they have push carts for costumer use. I do suggest calling them ahead of time and talking with Eric or the other women who work in the office if you have any needs or questions.

My girlfriend and I had stopped by to pay a bill for a friend yesterday. We could not figure out why he had moved to this location when he already had spaces with public storage. Well, while we had stopped in to this location to pay said bill, the property manager Eric and his other manager were in the middle of helping another customer. The customer was having a bad experience at another location. The manager made many phone calls for the other manager Vanessa ;while she was helping the customer with changing properties and trying to resolve all her issues. The level of dedication and customer service was astonishing. You can tell these people take pride in their work and make it a point to help every customer to the best of their abilities. We now completely understand why our friend has moved to this location. Fast forward to paying the bill. Took a total of a few minutes and even though they were very busy. They still took the time to help someone who is not a customer and our service was great as well. Top notch property. Very clean too!
