We have rented several units at this facility for about 2 years. Our experience hasn't always been great due to poor property maintenance, excessive rate increases and inconsistent rates. However, Allyson has been very helpful and friendly. She is a pleasure to deal with and you can really tell she enjoys her job. If it wasn't for her, we would have vacated all of our units. I rented a storage unit online without seeing it first. Bad decision on my part and awful of them to not tell me. My unit is right in front of a fence that encloses the entire storage unit park. There’s only 4 feet between the entrance of my storage unit and the fence. Ugh!! My movers had to strain and maneuver unnecessarily to get items in the storage unit.
I don’t like all of the nickel and dime fees that come with the agreement. They tell you one price at the very beginning, but once you add up all of the other ancillary charges. Doesn’t look as attractive.
The best customer service ever! Taylin speaks English and Spanish she is friendly , very professional and extremely helpful! She accommodated us in the best spot. I do recommend this place!

This location is going downhill quick. One of the gates has been broken and chained shut for almost a year. The second gate has been broken and chained open for weeks.
Potholes at entrance have been repaired by throwing bricks into them.
Have tried calling but so hard to get anyone on the phone. Finally got someone and was put on hold again.
Really hope this place turns itself around because it’s location is so convenient

Please take heed! Our camper was also stolen from this facility. We had two locks on it. We had also removed the battery, so the electric trailer jack would not have worked. These theives spent some time hooking up our RV to a tow vehicle before driving off the lot with it! We also received the standard line about "legal" handling the situation after reporting the theft. Since then, no one from the facility or corporate has bothered to voluntarily communicate with us about it (i.e., return messages, follow-up with requests for video footage). From recent Google reviews alone, there appears to be a pattern of camper theft occurring at this location and inaction/apathy about the problem by management (future class action lawsuit?).

I got a new storage unit after having my unit broken into at a previous storage facility, Taylin was very helpful and was very reassuring with their security.
Avoid at all costs. They did not honor the first month free offer they displayed online, and overcharged me multiple times the cost of the rental. Management is unhelpful and unprofessional.

Although unable to explain why my 25 ft parking spot cost the same as a 35 ft spot not to her fault, Taylor worked with me to find a similar spot at a price that made sense. Thankyou Taylor

They let our entire family camper get stolen right from their lot… meaning the thieves had time to hook up and tow out an ENTIRE CAMPER and they weren’t caught ??? And they’re being entirely unhelpful since the moment my parents realized. Multiple calls to the emergency number since it was a Sunday with the office closed & no answer… SO LONG STORY SHORT- sure, rent space with this facility if you want to have your things stolen and have little to no support afterwards from the facility. Can’t say enough terrible things about this place.
Had our camper stolen from the lot, in spite of two locks on the hitch. Right under their noses. So while they lead you to believe the lot is secure, it clearly is not. Their response to us was to first ask if we still wanted the space (apparently oblivious to the fact that the camper we had rented the space for had been stolen) and then to coldly say they were referring the case “to legal”. Absolutely no remorse for their obviously inadequate security, nor any recognition that we had suffered the loss. They behaved like they were the victims, not us.
If you are renting from these people, be forewarned that this is the treatment you will also receive when your stuff gets vandalized or stolen.
Our year old camper has been stolen. No one is in office nor answering the phone (Sunday afternoon).

They offered a free month’s rent but once I signed a contract the games started. There website and autopay doesn’t work then they piled on the fees if your even one day late and the free month I never got it , even after bringing it to there attention. Your better off going somewhere else where they honor there word.

I have Been at this location for 10 years. After the change in ownership I tried to change to a better parking spot with no success. A Prior store manager put me on a “list” that never existed. Last year the store manager said they were not allowed to keep a list of slot change requests and that it was up to me to check online everyday to see. As such very dissatisfied with lack of service for a long term renter.
I visited today and was finally upset enough after spending 20 minutes trying to get my small boat out of its slot ( almost impossible) or visit the front office. Taylor Valentin was very very very helpful in looking at available slots. The good news was that I was able to get the exact same small slot in a different location. The bad news was that the monthly rate went up 36%. I realize prices are increasing but this is highway robbery. This is no way to treat existing paying long term renters. If I find more reasonable accommodations I will definitely leave.

Been with Q2 for many years and stayed when simply self took over. I referred a person who rented a unit and got nothing. There policy is 30.00 referred credit so I do auto pay and after first month wasn't credited I called and told many things but mostly need to talk to there boss to get it okayed and they will call be back. I called twice a week for just over 3 months and they don't answer the phone goes to leaving a message I did and they still haven't called back . Went in today in person cancelled my spot and now myself and the I referred left. There gates are always broken , communication is horrible, no one calls you back and when there's two workers they both ride the cart and close the office. This location Simply self on Chamberlain ln is awful so beware . I went down the street to extra space they match prices or will be them. When Q2 owned and ran this business it was great . No problems after being there 3 years . Now that its simply self it's went down him .

Our non profit has rented a unit here for years. Recently, we had an event which created some logistic issues with multiple trucks. I spoke with Taylin and she was very thoughtful and helpful. The event was successful and made less stressful due to Taylin. We have never had a problem with our storage unit and are very pleased with the cleanliness and security provided.
Received a call from Simply Self Storage saying that some information was needed. I asked if I could do it online and Paylin said "Yes". I was able to log in and do my changes. Thanks to Paylin for the call.

The staff has always been friendly either in person or on the phone. Only downside since the ownership change is the access times. I would rather have 24 hour access. My schedule can be crazy at times so 24 hour access was why i had originally chose this location.
The new owners are trailer trash and the place is starting to go downhill. Plus, rent is going up. Yay!
