Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 3350 Madison Pike, Fort Wright, KY

I used this storage location for almost a year. I am a survivor of domestic violence. My location was discovered and I was forced to flee my home. Several months ago I was hospitalized leaving me no way to pay the bill until I recovered and could get back to daily life. Upon my release I owed my past month and the current month that just began. I called to pay my bill and was in formed that my unit had sold for $70.00 My entire home, past family belongings, children's past and all of my possessions were in there. Everything that I owned and everything to make a home. All nicely places and organized. Important items, photos, my children's artwork, baby clothes and of my clothes for the winter month and my career. Also, with it containing hundreds of important documents pertaining to my life situation. I can't and couldn't imagine how this occurred with two emails I received for notice. One in which said payment due. The last and only other one was to inform me that if payment wasn't received my items would be going up for auction. The was no final notice, auction date and no inventory notice. There was no attempt to call me or my second contact. I now am trying to work past this and it is devastating and heartless to say the least. I feel for everyone single person who has had this occurrence happen to them as well. May God bless you all in these difficult times of life. Maybe the person who purchased my bin could tell me what happens to court documents, preschool aged artwork and 100 year old family photos?

Price is reasonable and it's on a bus line

Public Store sold my unit without notice, and it had my nephew ashes in there. I paid faithful for over a year and if I was late Randy would call me soooooo I got lied to why I wouldnt let my stuff go and my Nephew and grandmother obituary all my dead family members obituary was in there. and I'm leaving messages for them to call back, and no one will return my calls. I'm hurt because whoever got my unit threw my Nephew in the trash 😭😭😭😭😭 He was Murder infront of his 1yr old son. 😤 not 1 call in August, and it was sold on the 8/20

Facility is nice but this company is ran worse than a sloth crossing a street.

I used a unit for nearly 5 months. The facility was extremely clean, and my furniture looked great when I came to move out. Zero issues with access and they were extremely helpful when I was getting settled in. I would definitely use this location again.

This place is a joke. I had a storage unit for 35 days here and it cost me almost $300.

The storage space is clean and well kept. There are no bathrooms available which is a major negative if you are unloading a lot of stuff. They have them but they are closed to the public. It’s easy and convenient to get into the unit. Even tho I told them I had my own insurance, I’m still being charged. Have to call again. Just little things that are annoyances but like the place overall.

Day of my rental the front desk my didn’t go over their policy nor show use where our bin was due to an emergency, went back later that night to store some items to death smelling place that made me throw up call left message abt it over 24 hours later I found out someone store a fridge with meat that spoiled n don’t know where the location of the storage bin was at so I paid for a month n didn’t get to put all my stuff in it , had to get another storage unit for rest of my items n they can’t give me credit or a extra week for this situation if I was told up front abt the problem I would had safe my money n time and skip this place altogether

Great selection of sizes, each unit is very well protected and air conditioned. The manager is very helpful with customers.

Randy is great to work with and the public storage app is convenient to use to open the doors and elevator. Getting a lot of use out of the 10 x 10 unit, perfect size.

Randy at Public Storage is fantastic! The facility is clean, and Randy is always there to help with any storage needs. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a reliable and well-maintained storage facility.

Bad place to ever have a storage unit at the place is never clean a staff member is never really in the office and when there was when I was there a couple weeks ago a guy decided to come up to the car and knock on the window saying that we were going 50 but the Kia that we have won’t even get up to 50 that quick and Just wanted to agrue and here now on may 23 we couldn’t get into are storage building and that we have to speaker to a manger but as I said before no one is in the office to even talk to them able that problem & it’s gonna be a long game to even get someone to pick up the phone

Ive hade a unit here for almost the whole time they been here since there grand opening now here in may on the 23rd i come over to drop some items off to not being able to get in the building that i am i need to see a manager nobody in the building to see I waited in the parking lot for at least 35 to 40 mins waiting on someone to appear pls tell me how this is acceptable at all its not period on top of being here a few weeks ago the guy in the office come outside to knock on my window like mr office guy has radar eye vision to see my speed acting absolutely ridiculous the dude said i was going 50 in the short distance it is to get up this hill to the door keep in mind i have a kia with a 1.6 Litter engine I'm not getting to that speed that quick i looked down at my speed when i was pulling in says 23 as breaking right after to slow down to let the door up the building has been cleaned nothing good at all has been done but yet the rent goes up and up its ridiculous and someone needs to fix this problem of me not being able to get in the building rents payed always on time And my gas wasted over nonsense!!!

After bidding on 3 storage units from this location, I ended up winning all of them. This was my first time ever doing this so I was super nervous. I couldn’t be more thankful I got the chance to work with this location. The staff were amazing. They worked with me regarding access to the units, time to clean them out even walking me through the payment process. It’s super clean and being a woman I felt totally safe while working there. I can’t wait until they have more units available!!

The rent fluctuates every month which I was not expecting. Even my bank account sent out a notification letting me know my public storage "subscription" is higher than usual this month. Hopefully you're not new to storage units either because a male staff member was annoyed instead of helpful when it came to me being ignorant on accessing the building. It honestly embarrassed me, and I always feel that when I go back there, hoping I don't see the man again.

Horrible all around. Absolutely the worst storage unit facility I’ve ever dealt with. Only decent thing about this place is that it’s a new build. Terrible customer service when I’ve called, every time I’ve tried to talk to an actual employee in-person at the office no one is there even during normal business hours, and when I’ve tried to call the after hours help line number they have listed, no one answers or returns my call. This is the second day I’ve unsuccessfully tried getting my things in to the storage unit I rented. Tonight, 3 other people were there at the same time I was, all upset because we couldn’t access the building and our units. If you arrive before 9pm, you should be able to access the building. It’s ridiculous.

I've been trying for 2 days to get someone to be at this location and show me the different size units. No one has been there during the times that it says the office is open. I have called customer support and even though they answer right away and seem to be working on it it has still not gotten me anywhere. Also they have the entrance blocked off because the code reader and door is not working and while I have been there both days there has been people trying to get into their units and not able to. I would like to rent at this location but have a trailer load of stuff ready to unload and unable to. Guess I'm going to go elsewhere.

The only issues I have with the place is that I've literally had my unit since they first opened this location. Rent went from 75, to 95 now to 115. Just wish it would stay at one rate. Other than that besides cars and trucks blocking to where you cant pull in or get out, it's been a great place.

Came in today and spoke with a lovely girl named Megan. It was my first time getting storage and I was nervous but she assured me it was safe and secure! She showed me the cameras and let me know my code would only work for my floor. She even walked me around and showed me how to download the app on my phone to get easier access.very polite young lady definitely recommend this place with such great staff!

The service that my boyfriend and I had with Megan was exceptional and beyond what we imagined. It was our first time getting a unit and she showed us around the facility, and gave us a glimpse of all of the features and safety that was provided. She made our decision to get a unit one that we couldn’t pass up. Thanks so much Megan!

Was bad experience after I rented unit . I went to unit to check it out before I moved my stuff in and get lock in place . I had trouble with lock and no one around to help so I left . Get a phone call and ask if I moved out . Told him I just rented and I’d be there Sunday to move stuff in . And explained about trouble with lock . Sunday I go to move in and lock was put in and I couldn’t get in unit . Lucky someone was in office help me remove lock he placed , still not understanding why a lock was put on my unit when he knew I was moving . So hopefully that’s the last bad experience I have there . Other than that clean and spacious

Great customer service, very clean and the prices are not going to break the bank! Only issues I had was people parking their cars inside and even when they would only have 1 item… cars should have to park in parking spot and walk their things in. Uhaul and trucks should be the only kinds of cars allowed in the port! But if the workers could watch the cameras and see cars are blocking others from coming in and get them to move forward this wouldn’t be an issue! Other then that it’s a great place!!!

I had fallen on some hard financial times and was in jeopardy of losing my storage. It is filled with many precious and irreplaceable items. When I came in to find out my options I spoke with a Megan. She was very kind and understanding. She told me my options and did not make me feel judged for falling behind on my payments. This is not something you encounter anymore. Megan’s customer service is top notch. She is the only person I will deal with from now on

I called in to the store in an emotional emergency, needing a solution right away. The moment Megan answered the phone I was comforted and felt valued. She was compassionate and very professional and helped me find the perfect solution to my problem. I will forever be a customer with Public Storage thanks to Megan. Keep up the good work, you’ve found a diamond in the rough. She truly understands the importance of customer service - way to go above and beyond!!! I highly recommend this location to anyone in the Northern Ky area!

Randy and all the staff at this Public Storage facility are top-notch. They are helpful and accommodating. They keep the building clean and accessible. They offer competitive rates and truly keep my belongings safe and secure. If you want anywhere in the area to store your belongings, come here.

Individual units are very clean. Nice and reasonably priced. Bathrooms definitely could be cleaner and the elevators, and some other areas, could use a shop vac. Otherwise very pleased.

Great place, but the access hours suck. Need to open earlier and stay open for access later.

Hope you don't need a restroom while you are there the staff keeps them locked. Garbage piled up at the entrance more often than not

Stopped in over the past weekend to rent a storage unit. Randy helped us and he was great! Very knowledgeable. By the time we left we were all set up. Highly recommend!

This is a brand new air conditioned Public Storage. It is really nice and has secure loading and unloading.

Fantastic help! Got a unit rented in like 10 minutes, walked through how to access it and it's location. Very simple, quick, and easy also inexpensive compared to what I was thinking. Randy was a great help and very good employee deserves a raise

I have storage at this place and when I enter access code I get a message to see manager. My payments are current so why can't I access my property

Excellent customer service. Very clean and reasonable price. I used 3L Storage units across the street and this is by far away better, won't have to worry about no rats lol Super cool the storage units come with a lock so you don't have to buy one separate. They even have little carts that you can use to transport your stuff from your vehicle to your unit

Very friendly and helpful staff

Nice and clean. They do need a sign to tell customers in the loading/unloading are to pull forwarded all the way in the bay. People pull in, just far enough for the doors to close and no one else can get in to start loading/unloading.

Just set up a 10x10 unit with this facility today the pricing is amazing compared to extra space storage where my current storage was at. Talking about saving money a 10x10 with public storage is under a $100 with insurance. Extra space storage is charging me for the same size unit $170 a month which is just stupid money to pay for a unit of that size. I've been with extra space for years in the price goes up all the time. Glad they built this public storage building not far from my house so I could move out of the other place in save myself money. This new building is only a few months old in they have carts to help move more things to your unit. Nice lighting in have elevators for the units on the other floors. I have a unit on the second floor the elevators help out a lot. The manager meril is a great help she got me sey up right away with my unit for me to move in fast in easy. She was also a big help with helping me getting one of the carts to my unit cause my 10 year old daughter was having issues pushing it threw the halls. She's a very nice person in a great help. I will be recommending others to come to this facility for storage and great pricing.

Joe-l had absolutely amazing customer service. She was very helpful and was very greeting. She was very friendly as well! I hope everytime I go in there she’s there, she was amazing!
