We had a few mishaps on our end, and Madge from the office helped us out each time out of the goodness of her heart by recommending people she knew, and helping us figure things out.

Quick and easy
We utilized 2 Public Storage climate controlled units at Fitness Lane for 7 years. Throughout that time, Madge, Property Manager, was extremely helpful and always very responsive whenever we had a need. We could not have been happier with her service and this facility. Only wish it was closer to our prior home. We highly recommend the climate controlled units. Upon moving into our new larger home, we found our furniture, clothing and household goods were all in great condition after 7 years! No bugs nor pests nor mildew of any kind. We certainly would not hesitate in using this facility again. Thanks, Madge, for your years of friendly, responsive service!

Last year I rented a 10'x10' for $120/month. After six months the price had increased to $156/month - told inflation. I then looked online and noticed the current price was only $68/month. I asked if I could get that price and informed no. Contacted the Home Office and again told no since this was only available if I secured via online. Well I rented another 10'x10' same location overlapping months with my other unit for just $68/month. Asked if I could just change the old unit number with the new number thus saving me the hassle of moving everything. Told no way this can be done. I moved everything and after six months paying the rate of $68/month the price increased to now $89/month. Asked why and told inflation just like last year. Just noticed the new units online are renting for 10'x10' at just $72/month. I guess I will again need to move everything again to secure the lower price for JUST six months.

Madge is wonderful to work with and very helpful when signing up, so she gets a 5 out 5 stars! The 4 stars are for the public storage business raising your monthly rates for no reason after being there for a period of time. I get that it’s a business, but there should be some incentive for individuals that never never miss a payment and plan on staying there a long time. The overall property is very clean and safe.
After a lot of research, we decided to go with this specific location - I’m glad we did! It’s my first time using storage and knowing that my belongings are safe is a great feeling. Madge is wonderful and is definitely the reason that this location is so great. I definitely recommend this location.

Best storage experience I have ever had. My husband and I needed relatively short-term storage and we were glad that Public Storage didn't require any long-term contracts. The prices were reasonable for the area and the online process for renting was really easy. The staff was always incredibly friendly and helpful. One lady in particular, I believe her name is Marge, was especially sweet and helpful!
I understand the need for rate increases. And they make sense from a business perspective. However, those increases should be reasonable (10-15%), maybe every 9 months to a year. And the first increase was just that. The second was higher, but not unreasonable. However the latest was nearly a 40% increase!!! This facility is convenient, but old looking and not that well kept. And some are sort of dangerous… look at the high curbs at some of the outside units. Not worth the insane prices. The only reason I didn’t give just one star was because of the ability to access via the app. That was a nice option. And please, spare me the canned response. They add insult to injury.
