Moved in 8/13/24 , everything is good so far, clean unit, manager called me back the day I moved in. I'm working as an electrician my days starts very early, so I requested 24/7 access and was able to be get approved within a day or two.

The move was smooth - problem free. The issue is with the insurance. Orange Door keeps billing me for the first month - which was supposed to be free and for premiums already paid. I called PS customer service. They They said it was fixed but it has not been. Otherwise, a good experience.

Mike is one of the nicest people I have encountered at this public storage facility. He is always there to help, accommodate, and find ways to help give you a break in your wallet. I have been a long time customer with public storage so to have someone as truly dedicated as Mike it is truly an honor and a blessing. The property is always clean, neat, and well taken care of when he is there. I feel safe to go in my storage if I'm not with anyone because he is there always alert and vigilant. Thank you Mike!!!!! UPDATE: After many years of storing stuff at Public Storage, it is time to say goodbye. Mike was super helpful during my move out. It was simple no hassle or extra headache to figure out what needed to be done. Mike explained how to make sure everything is to be removed from the unit and the lock must be taken with you! MIKE YOU NEED A RAISE ON YOUR CHECK!!! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS AND HARD WORK OVER THE YEARS!!!!!!!!! YOUR APPRECIATED!!!!

I’ve had a storage unit at this facility for the past 4 years. Mike the property manager at this palatine location and the one down the street is by far the best property manager I’ve ever worked with over the past 15 years of utilizing a storage unit. His customer service, attention to detail and his ability to solve issues will never be match by the kiosk that was placed at their 2213 Rand location. His professionalism and people skills are fantastic.

Editing review...after two or three month of having the unti... Mike was great with showing me the unit and getting me all set up for the journey of storage renting! Thank you Mike for your help! 😎 but now customer service on the phone won't help as I'm in a bad situation where people should give leniency to those who need help. But nope they just want money out of you or else your stuff gets put on an auction block and until it's zerod out not even caught up on the month missed they still won't help out. Mike is still helpful though but I'd like for the district manager to call me because they have the higher power to take stuff off the blocks or to waive the fees. If the auctioneers knew that the unit had all of ones persons belongings in it it would be taken off. It's so sad how this world is so hungry for money and make the customer stress out about their stuff.
