Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1847 Armour Road, Bourbonnais, IL

Reserved a rental unit because they advertise $1 for the first month. It ends up being over $50 after $29 admin fee ? $20 for their lock plus taxes and fees. I cancelled a couple days before because I ended up not needing it. They refunded the $20 lock and $1 for the month but said the $29 administration fee is non refundable. So I'm just out that $30 for nothing? That is not good business and a total rip off. I disputed through my credit card. Also they make you carry their insurance on your own stuff. It's all a scam. Beware will never use again

Thank you Jamie! JAMIE gets 5 stars! Public storage gets a 2 and that is being generous. The prices are ridiculously priced. They get you in at a decent price and then it just keeps increasing. Nothing special. Jamie however, she is an amazing employee. Smiling and making you feel like you matter. We stayed for an extra four months just because of the amazing person that she is. I hope that she is appreciated by her employer. If she gets a bonus she deserves it! If she doesn't, she should get a raise. Thank you Jamie!

I have been a customer of Public storage for a few years now. It is very clean and our climate control unit is a perfect temp all year round. Jamie, the office manager is very helpful, knowledgeable and so nice! I Highlands recommend Public Storage.

I've written a full review twice on this place and I lost it once because I couldn't see what I was writing and one because it earned I guess instead of posting. Very short version. Price was 16.00 more than I was told even taking off 17.00 lock fee when I got there. Secondly my gate code was wrong and no one's in office at that time, so extra Uhaul truck rental for a day plus 70 miles at 89 cent a mile charge plus the extra 70 mile gas for truck charge. Also a day off work and paying a person to help unload. Alot of money and time you can see. The man told me I'd be compensated for my loss which was his fault and it never got done til this day and I purchased it October first. Thirdly, in less than 30 days place had new owners never noticed which should be illegal. Thirdly my 10x10 climate control unit went from 152.00 to 196.00 a month (totally ridiculous). I'm told I was mailed a letter giving me a 30 day notice of this which I didn't get and everything online and cashless, not letters. A very nice lady Jamie who helped me to rent unit and helped me today is very professional and knows her job. She's always smiling and never looses her cool with people. She also got me some of my losses from this place in less than 2 minutes. Thank you Jamie. This lady deserves a raise definitely for always going above and beyond to do her job. I know for a fact that she keeps this place going. I'm sure she's not appreciated there either for all she does.

Wow! I have used many storage units in my time but simply storage should be named, simply the best! Jamie and the rest of the staff are some of the best in the business. They made sure i was taken care of and all of my belongings were safe! I travel and having a unit here when i am gone, makes me feel safe!!! A++++ keep up the great work!

Very spacious. We fit a fridge, washer, dryer, 3 grills, and lots of boxes. Almost all our furniture fit in the one large storage unit.

Jamie made this a easy and painless experience! Definitely recommend using this facility!
