Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 6000 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA

My experience with public storage has been nothing short of stellar! The process was seamless and easy, didn’t even have to speak with a representative. In my case though I needed to be refunded for the lock because I already owned my own. Clayton had a very professional customer friendly calm demeanor. I was promptly refunded and was on my way within minutes. To me that’s a win. Thanks for being reasonable.

Need to share my experience with a Public Storage Manager , Dolly. As we were having a Hurricane she was out walking the Property on Lawrenceville Highway were my husband and I have a unit, she was totally soaked, I asked her what she was doing , she answered making sure everything was ok on the Property, I told her that was COMMITMENT. I pray she didn't get sick

BEWARE OF RATS_ If you want RATS ruining your belongings then this is the place for you!!!!! If I could give them less than a a star I would. I rented the storage at this property because of the location. I went to move my items out yesterday and could not because a RAT or RATS are in my unit. I could hear them moving around. Sorry to gross you guys out but please see my photos below of what I found in my storage yesterday. Rat droppings and urine on my belongings and thats only what I could see on top. I went to the office to discuss and basically found my reception to be unprofessional, also I was told there is nothing they can do but a exterminator will be out this week other than that the rats are my problem and handed some packs of rat poison to put in my unit. ( The methods they use clearly is not working and had I been warned about the infestation I would not have put my furniture in there). I'm terrified and will opt to trash my belongings. I asked for the district managers number and will call on Monday to see what they can do about getting the rats out of the storage should not have to deal with rat problem on my own after they are continuously taking close to $90 monthly for rent. I will follow-up with another review after I speak to the District Manager and let you know how it goes...UPDATE!!!!...I SPOKE with the District Manager, she was professional understood my concerns and offered to rectify what she could. While I am still minus my possessions and there was minimal compensation she did what she could...

I called Public storage to inquire about seeing if I could pay the rate that was listed online in cash at one of the public storage locations. The representative insisted that I could pay the rate that was listed online inside at the public storage store when I got to this location, I met Miss Angela and she informed me that not only what I have to pay the rent, but I would also have to pay the prorated amount which was not what the representative told me, and at the current time I didn’t have access to those kind of and do you know this lady helped me out with not only obtaining my unit she has the most impeccable customer service! Sweetest lady ever and I am very appreciative for her, she needs a RAISE tbh. Customer Service (call center in “California) needs some work

Talked to Kenny to move out and he was great. Told me my charges and why everything was set. He helped me check out with ease and was super nice. The 10x15 unit itself was clean when I checked in with another nice woman. Left it for 10 months before I moved back to GA and the only thing that affected my items were spider webs which is normal. No water damage or theft which is hard to come by in some units. Recommend this spot for sure
