These storage units are very trashy all types of bugs from flying and crawling water bugs sizes of golf balls . Stink bugs ants infestation spiders leaves so much and you definitely get harassed by employees playing any music or taking a break sitting out to get air luckily I’m only keeping them a month . Oh and leaving out the gate after hours is a no you’ll get locked in . I’ve used many storages but none that lock you in have some respect people may have left something medicine important documents I wish the world would stop being so inhumane

Really outstanding service, great place to put your stuff at. No issues. Just be mindful you can’t go in after 9pm or leave after.

Thank You Mrs.Rhonda for everything very patient after my gate code wasn’t working she took her time to work with me several times. On the sign it’s 9:30am but they open a little late . I’m confuse . But overall good customer service

Unfortunately, there's no cover provided anywhere so you burn up in the sun. The monthly payments do increase over time, so if you're on a budget make sure to pay attention. There's also a rat issue. I'm not sure why, there's no food, but they come anyway. Also, make sure you get a really good lock, the cylindrical ones preferably, otherwise your unit can and will be broken into.

Great customer service

Rat infested hard to make claim items stolen from storage as well. They cut expensive locks off when late paying when all they really have to do is add their own locks. I sure they take items but they of course claim they do not. Hard to get claim forms.

I’m extremely disappointed in the service at this location. My work causes me to move frequently and I’ve used the one in Charlotte several times. However this location or the company has turned to a bed of thieves. After 2 months they increased my rent by $100. I have not been with them a year yet and my storage fee went from $200 to $300. I filed a complaint and they reduced it for a few months and then increased it again. Recently they charged me $174 fee for a $30 balance because they tack on late fees on top of last minute increases with no warning ‼️ don’t use this location!

I've used Public Storage for about 20 years on and off..this time and this facility was by far the worse. I have never had an outdoor facility before this one. I was in a rush and locating to a new area. After obtaining the Storage I noticed rat poison packs in the from of the corners of the units. Needless to say no matter what I tried there were rat droppings each time I went to my unit to the point I didn't really want anything out of there. No one cared and could do anything. However, I do have some important things in there so I continued to pay even as the rent went up. I got behind on payments. Now that I moved into my home it's gotten to the point of being auctioned off. I called before this to see of there was any way to avoid this? I did not know I could make a partial payment to at least avoid auction and not lose my things. I advised Rhi da I had just lost my mother and I didn't want to lose the pictures of her. So if there was anyway to avoid to auction to let me know. She advise there was nothing more she could do no less price I could pay I had to pay the 1088.00 2 months plus fees or I would lose my space. At that point I accepted it would be auctioned off. I called to ask if she could give the bidder my information and she advised me it's not anyone's responsibility to get my things back to me (Pictures and kids birth certificates) because it's in the papers to not leave those things I'm the units and the bidders rarely return things. Rhonda is not a very pleasant person and always had a harsh tone and attitude. Even upon answering the phone. I believe even if the bidder did try to get in touch with me she wouldn't be kind enough to give them my info or keep my things for my pickup. I never expected this, have never loss my things in storage and and every intention on payung my balance and retrieving my things. Just faced a few bad experiences lately. I left this review to encourage you that if you are looking to store your things look elsewhere and surely not the Hamrick location. They just don't care. This is not a anger post or about losing my things. It's about the lack if care and concern yet my rent went up 3 to 4 times with no issue. I answered calls, didnt skip out on my things, communicated and it still is just about them making mo ey because I still will end up having to pay the bill. God bless.

Rhonda is very bad for business. They do not accommodate the storage of its not up to part, will charge you to switch unit. Very unprofessional, attitude bad and will talk disrespectful to you and call cops. After canceling reservation and won’t give you refund that day. Do NOT waste your money at this location. Rhonda is property manager very unprofessional and disrespectful!!!! She will try and advise you to give a review on the property before even checking the unit… Do Not.. I ADVISE DO NOT RENT STORAGE HERE!!!!

LARONDA!!! The absolute WORST manager I’ve ever came across . She’s rude, unprofessional and unapologetic. Called police because I told her I wouldn’t give her a good review based off the service I was receiving. Lights inside units do not work. Nor does the switch AND she canceled the reservation AFTER my belongings were already inside unit. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION !!!!!! AND By the way these reviews are written BEFORE customers actually get unit and see how they are..:DO NOT LET THESE REVIEWS FULL YOU SAVE YOUR MONEY !!! DISPUTE DISPUTE DISPUTE !!! 🤪

Rats in the units

Some of the worst, no - non-existent customer service ever. The office was rarely staffed in person and the office NEVER returned my phone calls, unless they wanted something from me. Items were stolen and they never responded to multiple requests about possible camera footage or help with filing a police report. Add to that, it was overpriced, especially considering the lack of security and response to theft. Unsure whether it's just this location or this company, but I'm pretty put off from ever using Public Storage again.

Ronda Was A Great Help Today Im Glad I Came to Rent My Space She was Very Good And Attentive

Ms. Ronda Saved my life. She went above and beyond the call of duty. After searching for deals to assist my situation her store was the LAST Stop. Most people would NOT unlock their Doors 2mins before Close of Business , but she saw me coming and did. She must have seen the Frustration all over my face. I told her my situation and she encouraged me to give Public Storage a Chance. Even told me how to Save money by go8ng Online. Offered to help me the next morning if I had any problems. I did just that. I went online and it would save me hundreds of dollars. However, I had questions and a little problem completing the Process Online. Well she must be a Mind Reader as well. I Reserved my Storage and had questions. I said I'd call them in the Morning when they Open. To my pleasant SURPRISE, Ms. Ronda would be calling ME before the 10th hour. I was overjoyed as she asked me if I needed any Help going through the Process to Complete the Process online, even offering to stay on the phone with me and Walk me through it. Well that helped to Seal the Deal and is the very Reason I am now a Customer today. It was her Patience, Professionalism and Knowledge that assured me that I was making the right decision at the appointed Time. I can't Thank her enough! But your Corporate Office can by acknowledging her Great Customer Service skills and Sales ability. I think she deserves a Raise! But Seriously, at least a Bonis if this is the kind of Service she offers regularly for this company. You don't find extraordinary employees like this often. I'm sure your sales have increased due to her Hard work and Dedication to go above and beyond for her Potential Customers. I almost went with another Competitive Company if it wasn't for her persistence and that Phone Call. I Thank you for Hiring her.and look forward to doing Bisiness with her in the future. Absolutely a pleasure! I spoke with David first regarding my reservation. He was professional, courteous and kind! He explained the differences in the units that I inquired about regarding the contents of my intended stored items, to make sure he gave me the best unit to meet my needs. He was patient and quite informative. When I arrived at the physical location, I was met with a welcoming smile from Roneta. She was professional, kind and thorough in making sure I understood the differences in the sizes of units I inquired about. She showed me both units so that I could make an informed decision. And although she gave detailed instructions on how to open the unit I chose, I still had a struggle in getting it open. When I returned to the office to inform her, she was more than happy to take me back to the unit and she opened it with ease. There was never a point where I felt that she was bothered by the extra effort she had to make to accommodate me! She also explained how I could download the app in order to open the gate on future visits and pay my bill online!! I would give this place 10 stars if it were an option, based on my experience with both David and Roneta!

I am editing my review the customer service was great from Ms. Ronda , the first day but this storage definitely have rat problems and looks like for a while now from a few reviews from years ago the insurance will only pay up to $250 for my property that I am paying to store there while I transition and my belongings are begin destroyed by rats plus when I went to the front office about it Ms . Ronda was not her friendly very dry to me when I came to her with the situation on 01/23/24 and my belongings are begin destroyed by rodents all she gave me was a brochure about the insurance company I’m not paying for my belongings to get saturated and destroyed plus rats carry diseases im currently pregnant and will not be touching those belongings and will be seeking a lawyer furthermore! Thank you for a waste of time and money plus my belongings that I thought would be safe plus the have holes in between each unit easy access.

Even though I was not pleased with what we saw in our unit, Ronda at the Stone Mountain location was very helpful and advised what we needed to do regarding insurance as rat droppings were in our unit. She was professional. We will be contacting the insurance co to see what our options are.

Ronda was wonderful! We recently purchased a couple of storage units at auction, very skeptical due to horrific past experience at Public Storage in Atlanta. Ronda was present, attentive, helpful and most importantly always available to help us when we needed it.

These are some scammers not only did they broke my door to my unit tell me they was going to fix it hold my key for two months to fix it never did couldn't get to my stuff gave me manager number no one call me back I kept paying like an idiot because I had no help to move. Stop paying them told them to have a manger call me I sent emails they open the door without telling me take pictures of my items to auction it off no help from district or anything they make money off of there auction they watch what you move in and scam you

I needed storage extremely last minute, then booked a size too small. Trina at the front desk got me straightened out and was so sweet about it. Definitely recommend this facility to anyone.

No power in my unit. They have rats and silverfish. Also raised my rent twice in 1 year. DO NOT RENT STORAGE HERE.

I was able to set everything up online, they made it so easy and the app is perfect for opening the gate.

This is one of the worst storage units and customer service experiences I have ever had. Please be aware, this location doesn’t care about anything other than individuals money. Hardships, payment consistency and other conditions they do not care about. The manager is very rude and not at all customer service oriented at all. Luckily I was able to speak with a corporate representative to investigate this location. It will almost be a year since I’ve had my things within this location and it has been such a horrible experience. I will be so happy to be moving my things from this location. Horrible representation of Public Storage in 2023. I will not be using again.

Wheni cameto pick up my auction unit Qualicia was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! Especially considering that I wasn't able to get there until 20 minutes before closing I feel she went the extra mile because 80% of storage offices close 30 minutes before they are scheduled to. My cousin has her things there and we were trying to talk to someone in the office and we got there in time however, there was no one in the office even though the lights were on. If I were you I would go somewhere else.

How can you get a unit but no one is on the property nor on the sister unit? I never moved in and I’m disputing these charges with my bank.

Tasheba is awesome! My husband and I were out of town and she called us to let us know that she noticed our lock wasn't secured while doing her daily check.
