I gave it a 2 because I had to wait 2 hours before I was done with everything including paper work but if I had to rate the customer care rep Gina, it would have been a 5. The unit that I reserved was not available when I arrived but it was still showing it was in their system. When they tried to get me another unit, after I viewed it and all, guess what... someone had reserved it for the following day. I mean, it was just a mess. The person who was on duty,Gina, was great as far as good customer service and tried to help me find a unit that would accommodate my belongings, after all, this was her first time working at that location. However, the main person who usually works at that store did a POOR job at keeping the correct information in their system. To sum it all up, the district manager got involved and had to come over and try to work something out since I did not want to go to another location due to the fact that this location was more convenient for me. Over all, I was satisfied with what she worked out, I just didn't like the fact I had to wait so long to get everything done.

He took the time to explain all the storage options and helped me choose the perfect unit for my needs. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and secure, which gave me peace of mind. The customer service that I just received was above and beyond TOP NOTCH if I have to put it in words. David really helped me. My wife, daughter and I recently moved back to Duluth from Lilburn. The new house doesn’t have as much storage space as our previous house, so we decided to rent a 10’x30’ unit. This Public Storage facility on Pleasant Hill had just what we needed and is in a great location central to where we work, live and play. The property is always clean and tidy, thanks to David, the property manager. He is on site 5 days a week and is a very friendly, helpful and accommodating gentleman. We have been steadily downsizing all of our items in storage and no longer need the 10’x30’ unit. With this being the case, I visited David in the office and within 5 minutes, we had picked out a 10’x15’ unit to replace the larger one. It was a very simple transaction and the transfer was very smooth. If you are in need of a storage space or just somewhere secure to park a truck, boat or trailer, come see David at Public Storage. Thanks for your assistance David!

The Manager David is the best, always available and ready to help. I gave Public a one star because, My fee doubled without any notice. I never complained regarding any issues before because I know things happen.. It's alway one cart and that's never available, so I struggle with my things upstairs. I called customer service on July 6, to find out why the large increase and to see if anyone could be of any assistance. I was told no, only the managers could help with my fee.. I was then given an appointment for the next day to have a conference with a manager. I said should I pay now and speak to him tmrw. She said no because the manager will waive the late fee that you are going to get tomorrow. I said ok, After speaking to the manager, none of this was true.. I still had to pay $23.00 late fee and the doubled unit A512 price anyway because the manager couldn't assist me. I wasted my time driving 45 minutes to this meeting on Sunday when I could've been in church..

"The store offers great products and service, but the limited availability of hand trucks 1 lol can be inconvenient during busy times . It would be beneficial for them to invest in more hand trucks to improve customer experience and efficiency."

The woman that works there is very hostile in a low-key type of way. Storage was broken into and it was an interior unit. Don’t waste your time at this place. Also how does all units have their master lock now under her working but doesn’t have to pay the fee for it? Then thinks someone is paying a move out fee after their unit has been hit. Now if they did an insurance claim which they SHOULD have they get money. Save yourself the headache. Go elsewhere.

Yesterday I rented a storage unit at the Pleasant hill location in Duluth Ga, The young lady who I spoke to on the phone and who also assisted me when I arrived was absolutely amazing!! Do your homework before signing anything While Public Storage may be a national company each location varies drastically on service and product(s) provided. Other than "location" this facility is one of the worst I've ever worked with

The current manager, Nick, does not do his job properly and will be completely disrespectful on the phone when he is held accountable! I HAD TO PAY AN EXTRA MONTH AFTER MOVING OUT JUST BECAUSE HE DID NOT DO HIS JOB CORRECTLY!!! He spoke to me on the phone on May 11 when I told him I moved out on April 15 after paying my previous bill. He waits until I continue receiving emails of a balance before telling me after I called multiple times and he did not answer, " Oh, you have to remove your lock or you will still owe the balance" I was so angry about this and he eventually hung up on me. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A HORRIBLE MANAGER!!! When I first moved in , he didn't even have the lock in my unit like it was supposed to be. He looks uninterested in his job and he does not work to resolve the simplest of problems. They literally make anyone a manager nowadays. Go to another location!!

KIM IS A GODDESS! Contact "Her" for your Storage Needs!! After U-Haul storage up the road completely messed up my reservation (do not worry about the details!), I searched for an alternative storage facility and found this one. The lady that took the reservation was nice and all but upon arrival, KIM attended to us and believe you me, I was completely satisfied from hello! She listened to my needs and made recommendations that not only saved me a couple of extra $$ on a monthly basis, she also recommended options the ensure my property was safe and well taken care of. Demeanor, humor, professionalism, and so on... Kim met and exceeded all expectations of service and the truth is, if I could, I would send everyone I know to this facility and more importantly, to Kim.

The reason that I opted to rent with this location was all of the positive reviews, so I'm really disappointed to have to leave such a negative one. After almost 30 days, I've YET to coordinate with the office staff to see and use my unit, and not for lack of trying! Timeline: 11/05 - Received confirmation e-mails and texts the night before that unit was ready. Showed up @ 9:30am, waiting until 10:30am (within office hours), and no one ever showed up. Turns out they were closed due to staff shortage, but never updated signage. 11/07 - Received a call from property manager explaining the staff shortage. I informed her that I would be in the next weekend to meet and start using space. 11/13 - Received call stating that my unit was improperly secured. I called back, spoke to the property manager, and found out this was an error in their documentation. I re-confirmed that I would be by that weekend. She suggested that I call a day ahead to ensure that they would be staffed at the time I wanted to arrive. I asked if she had a direct number or e-mail due to the previous experience and was told that "someone will be checking messages, so the number is fine." 11/17 - Called, left message 11/18 - Called, left message 11/19 - Called, no answer 12/02 - Called, left message, marked urgent At this point, I'm cancelling my rental. If I can't even get in, how would I ever get out?!?! Yes, the property manager is kind/nice, but that's not enough, and the headache is not worth it. This is my hail Mary and last attempt to communicate with the office, since they at least seem to respond here. TLDR: Try to find a rental location with more responsive staff. You've been warned.

They never have hand carts available and the Elevator is Always broken! Explain to me how you think people are moving large pieces of furniture from upstairs with no elevator? I’ll wait! No cameras and I always feel hella spoked out. Horrible place so store your stuff here. I’m only still there bc of inflation and the prices to rent a new storage at the same size I have 10 x 10 are astronomical!
