My experience is from October 30th. I was moving things from TN to GA. My movers were having some time delays and would possibly miss the 9pm access deadline. I called several times and I believe I left at least one message about the situation. I didn't get any response back, no voicemail or anything. I even drove up to actual location within business hours, as stated on their website, and the office was closed. And it looked like it had been closed because there were delivery stickers on the door. There weren't even any office hours on entrance windows. So, my movers got in very late and I had to put all my things in my basement and garage. It was so much chaos that I didn't think to cancel the unit until the next day. Now, a young lady did call after that and I told her what happened. She very apologetic and said that Corporate would be sending us a refund less the setup fee. Now, I setup for autopay and payment came out on November 1st. That did get refunded, which was a very small amount. As of today, I checked my charge card and I still haven't gotten more of a refund not even for a lock that I never used. So, I called customer service and the representative told me that I wouldn't be getting any other refund because I didn't cancel on the same day. I told her I tried calling the office# several times that day but never got any response back and that I visted the office location BEFORE the stated closing hours per the website but it was closed. She did say she would check the phone logs to see a record of my calls and that she would send an email to location about refunding my lock purchase. But, a couple of times that I called the office the call didn't go through. Anyway, I am not sure how is going to turn out but just wanted to make ppl aware.

She also was very knowledgeable on things like pricing and finding my way around the property. This was my first time purchasing a unit so it’s rare that you find business with genuine good customer service and employees that actually care about the customer. I will be back!

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!! They go up on the rent here every two months. They take full advantage of Georgia not having rent control. Also, if you think you're getting a climate controlled unit think again, they don't turn the air on in order to save themselves money. The automatic doors hardly ever work and having to put a code in for the gate the doors and the elevator is a bit much. Lastly, for this to be a enclosed/indoor facility the building isn't sealed properly, or something, because I had pollen all over my belongings. If you rent at this particular Beech Haven location you might as well go to an outdoor Public Storage facility. If not, go to Extra Space or Cube Smart storage thats right around the corner they are truly climate controlled and I have never had pollen on my things like at PS.

I visited the property to get a sense of the building and staff. I met the manager of the property whose name is Shay. Shay is easily one of the best managers of any kind I have ever met. Shay is pleasant, knowledgable and goes far beyond what the average manager would do to satisfy a customer. Shay is an extremely genuine person and simply wants what is best for anyone who walks into her place of business. Public Storage’s national and regional executives need to be fully aware of Shay. Unquestionably, Shay is the company’s best property manager. Without a doubt that has to be the case. Again Shay is one of the best managers of any kind I have ever experienced.

Shay was more than helpful with our move. Glad we chose this facility and we will only use Public Storage in the future!

My stay at this Public storage was short due to only being there to pickup a storage unit I won, but Shay at the front desk was extremely helpful . When I walked in she was dealing with several customers and too my surprise the wait wasn’t long at all and she greeted me as soon stepped in the building . Shay has a pleasant up beat attitude which is hard to find these days in customer service . Thank you so much Shay !

I was shown two units and I selected one of them. Charissa called the following day to let me know there was a mix up. I've had a rental unit here for the last few years and have had no issues. The property manager, Charissa, was the most incredibly kind and courteous person I've encountered in a long time and helped so much during the move-out process. She was available for all my questions and answered them all thoroughly. She also went above and beyond when I needed assistance with something and wasn't in the area to do it myself. It's worth getting a unit here just for the incredible customer service. The units are very well protected, there are multiple safety features in place, such as having to enter an access code not only at the gate, but also at the entrance to the building AND at the elevator. This might seem like a lot but it ensures that only people who have storage units on your floor have access to the elevator.

Hand carts are always locked up, which is understandable. I get that you don’t want people to steal them or leave them all over the building. But I’ve come here twice to unload things and there’s nobody in the office to unlock them in the middle of the day on a weekday. Update: this is now the 3rd straight time I’ve come here and nobody is in the office. It’s 12:20 on a Saturday, so I have no clue what their actual hours are. It’s a decent enough place otherwise, but the service is nonexistent.

Great new place, really good deals online, but get them soon as they are going up. Terrell, the facility manager, made it a smooth transaction, answering questions I had and looking up answers he wasn’t sure about. The facility is easy to get into and to my unit. I am happy that I made the decision to use them, after my not good experience with a competing brand facility. UPDATE: My original review was when this facility was owned by Extra Space Storage. I actually moved my belongings from another Public Storage facility to this facility after my rates went up 20% out of nowhere, but I was given 1 month notice so I had decided to move out. So when Extra Space sold this facility to Public Storage, I was not happy but I stayed anyways. Despite my concerns, Public Storage did a good job on honoring my account with Extra Space and making a smooth transition. Now I just moved a bunch of stuff from my house to the unit today. It was near the end of access time. There were updates that Public Storage thought was best to not inform the customers on (I get emails from them, mostly about payments, just nothing of these updates). There was a gate added and the keypad was hard to find, not right at the gate. There were no signs to point to the keypad. The front entrance was taken over by a car, tow truck and uhaul seemingly loitering and chatting about. I used the other entrance which had a broken down elevator. Thankfully there was another elevator but it was halfway across the facility,(although that at least saves me walking up 2 floors). And the hand carts were all locked (previous visits that I used a hand cart, they were not locked), and since it was after office hours no one with a key was there. The other elevator was by the front entrance that everyone was chatting at, so I couldn’t just park there. I had a lot of stuff and half an hour to get moving. Very bad experience, nothing I dealt when Extra Space Storage managed it. Updated Update: Today, about 2 months after my last update, I went to the storage unit to get Christmas stuff. They advertise on their site, Google, and their phone’s answering machine that the office is opened until 5:00. I got there around 4:00 and no one was there. Their carts of course were locked, and a sign above them advertise that the carts are available during office hours. Well it’s during office hours and they weren’t available. The only number to contact is a National line that is useless as they don’t know anything. When I was done, it was right before 5:00 and still no one was there, so it’s not like they were doing other tasks. I wish they found a better system for the carts. If they did that, I wouldn’t have felt the need to make these updates.

Very clean, neat, and well maintained facility with the most friendliest, knowledgeable, and helpful staff you could imagine. Very spacious and a lot of room for several people to move in/out at the same time without chaos. Definitely "mover-friendly" and would definitely recommend to anyone who's in search. ☆☆☆☆☆ 😉

Place is brand new, so it's still got that new car smell.. lol. It's a nice climate control storage and right down the street from my apartment & that's a huge plus! I caught a special when I signed up but I think I can lower the price if I use my renters insurance. I read a couple of reviews from another location that they tend to go up every year on the prices, but all good for now! Follow up, they did go up from $70.00 to $90.00 as soon as Public Storage took over😡

The place is clean because it’s new but they’re absolutely ridiculous for raising the rent. I’ve only been using the storage unit like 4 months and they already raised the price!! Don’t expect to pay the same amount for more than a few months if you get a unit.

Public storage was right on time for me and my sister. Employee Charissa Smith was very forthcoming in answering all our questions/concerns. She detailed all our rates, specials, etc. Definitely would come SPECIFICALLY back to Beech Haven, for her assistance!

I wish I could give 0 starts ! From the beginning with this place is nothing but trouble, change managing companies in no time, this one is lacking of Manadgement ( trash overflowing dumpster , no lights at the parking lot at night( scary dark) , front doors open at night!! This place is asking for safety troubles !some other locations have even gates !!
