I’m paying 118 a month for a 5x5 locker. That is entirely too much for something I can’t even put a lot of stuff in. When I first got this storage i was paying $89.00 I was comfortable with this price because it’s so small, but then it went up to $98, I was still ok. Now you want me to pay almost $120 for something that’s not worth it. I can’t afford to pay that on top off all my other bills. Something needs to be done about the prices.

Price gauging. I went from 98 to now 253 pre month. This is ridiculous. I work three jobs to keep up with things. Stop raising the rates. This is approximately what I pay. I'm furious. I'm at different location. Talked to the district manager and he was really helpful and gave me a discount.

I have been a Public Storage customer for months now and my experience has been sincerely TOP NOTCH! Starting from Upper Management Jeff S and Derek L, Property Manager(s) Aaliyah B, Shinika W and Nekoz J. When I tell you these people are amazing in their own right, I have NEVER received such service at a storage facility in my entire life and I am 54 years of age! Usually when you call a company for assistance, you are taking a 50/50 chance but not at the Fairburn Facility 820 Fairburn RD, you are GUARANTEED the BEST SERVICE from anyone who picks up the phone at that location!!!! KUDOS TEAM!!!!! Clone each one of them if you can! LOL! I work in hospitality and have for 33 years, so to receive this type of service from a storage facility apparently, you guys are doing something right! All the other Public Storage Facilities better watch out!!! 820 Fairburn RD is NUMBER ONE so PLEASE, take great care of these Public Storage Employees because they sure take great care of each and every one of their customers!!! I wish GOOGLE had infinite stars!!! They deserve them all!!! :)

Came to this location and was amazed by the level of professionalism and service I recieved. I was greeted by Ms. Shinika as soon as I walked in and she was so friendly, and professional and had the most positive attitude. They didn't have the size I was looking for but she went the extra mile to help me find the size at another location. I would recommend this location definitely.

I was actually in today and both the ladies that were in the store were nice and helpful. I don’t like to feel claustrophobic; I didn’t feel this way in this storage, and it didn’t feel shaky. I like that they have climate control, but I would like to see more rolling carts to put my stuff on. Most of the time, I have to wait for one, and that can take a while.
03/09/2024 Update
This facility was recently constructed, but it's already showing signs of neglect due to poor maintenance. The main entrance had a note directing us to use the back door, which was quite inconvenient for my family and me. The grounds are consistently littered with various types of trash, discarded furniture, and leftover food from restaurants. I once needed to use the restroom but immediately exited due to its condition. Despite the high cost of storing personal items here, I fear that rodents and insects may infest the storage units.
These storages are too dam expensive!!! **I'm paying350$ monthly*"!!!
Unsafe location.No on property manager and it's a waste of time trying to reach them by phone even when prompted to be connected to manager.Break ins and vandalism.Restroom not close to front and you will spend 20 minutes trying to find it No clear display of directions.Iys convient for many but sometimes that's not always best..

I reserved a unit on Thursday for Sunday, went in the office on Sunday to make sure every thing was in order. I payed for moving help only to get there and notice a lock on the unit that took 15 minutes to locate. I called public storage and after being transfered stayed on hold for a while. I was told that I would have to come back tomorrow when the office was opened. My problem is who's going to find and pay more movers? Whose going to stay up and watch the unlocked truck with all my belongings?. This truck is to be returned by q2am. Why do I have to call off with no sick time left. I was offered 25 dollars after I asked these questions.

This is my 1st time ever having to rent a storage. Ms. J (nickname)I gave her since I'm not good with names, was my Rep and she was awesome. Her customer service was on point. She answered any and every question I had concerning the unit I wished for as far as climate control, cameras onsite etc. She made the experience less nerve wrecking. I appreciated her services.

How’s this for custom service? I pull up at 3pm and I see the associate locking up the office. I asked if they were closed and she said “No, but I’m going on my 30 minute break”. Lock the office and got in her car and drove off. I was there to buy boxes for an upcoming move. I have been an online paying customer for over 2 years. She was not concerned about whatever my issue was (which literally would have only taken a few minutes to but some boxes), she never asked. Just locked up and got in her car. I’ll be very happy to leave this place. This is not the first incidence of poor customer service, just the one I finally got frustrated enough to write about. Public storage as a company may be OK but every location if different. Choose wisely.
Public Storage is trying to rip me off. I have had my storage since June 2022. I have never been late. I moved out of my storage on Sept 1 2023 before 1130AM. I left the storage clean and ready for the next customer.I was told I owe for the entire month of Sept because I should have moved the day before Aug 31. I understand if you are charging a prorated amount, but it is unfair to charge for an entire month.

Magically it’s ppl in the office if your payment is late but when your property is destroyed due to mold that developed in their climate controlled unit they are nowhere to be found…
This place was my worst experience in all my life! The first encounter was great but that person apparently left shortly after and everything went downhill from there. My lock was cut off of my unit and a new lock replaced it. At the office they told me I was using the wrong unit. After that was resolved, I STILL had to pay another $25 for a new lock.
I was on autopay so my payments were automatically deducted. The following month (2), I received a notice that I had not paid. A new person was at the counter and she was very pleasant and knowledgeable. (I never saw her again!) She looked over my account and found that I was being charged for two units. So she corrected that error.
I decided it was time to end this nightmare. On my day off, I went to the location to remove my items. I could not enter my code to open the door so I went to the front office. The manager from hell was at the desk and said something was wrong with the door entry system so no one was able to enter the building. There were numerous people in the room and she was yelling for everyone "get out" so she could find out what to do. It was not corrected until the next day.
I returned to retrieve my things. It was clothing because I don't have enough closet space at home. Upon removing my things, I found that my leather coat was missing. I didn't even bother going to speak with her considering I had to pay for a new lock that I did not destroy, she definitely was not going to do anything about my stolen item. There may have been more missing but I was just disgusted at that point.
I have used Public Storage before and it was NOT like this one.
Steer clear of this place if you are looking for storage!!!!!
BEWARE BEWARE of enrolling online. Enrollment online forces an AUTOPAY enrollment with whatever method of payment you use during online enrollment. Call customer service immediately after enrollment to opt out of AUTOPAY, if you wish to opt out. I opted out and their trap system still enrolled me.

This is a newly built facility but it.is.dirty and down right nasty. The pictures I’ve included are from two different visits on the same day. They don’t clean up daily. The elevator smelled of urine and the carts were no where to be found the first time so I had to come back later that day. This would be a great location if they kept it clean. The standard for how the customers treat the property are set by the staff. Every single time I come, there is trash everywhere. Whether it’s morning or evening.
Ms.Gidget was very helpful with assisting me with logging into the link and walking me through the steps process.

BEWARE of price gauging.... I rented a unit about 3 months ago. The contracted rate was 349.00. They raised the rent to 427.00 just because they can. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. You may budget for the rate quoted, and they can continue to raise the rate as much as they want. The contract means NOTHING. If you rent from here, be prepared for rate changes at any time.
