Tamica was a huge help and amazing!!

As others have said, I had a basement unit that had every single item ruined by mold. Over $10,000 worth of property lost. Whoever runs this facility is incredibly negligent, as the basement reeks of mildew and there’s visible water/puddles coming from several units. This property should be shut down.

Antionette was super helpful with me trying to get my unit after a lock mishap on my part! She was very patient and considerate.

My storage unit was broken into & robbed. Many other individual’s units were also broken into & robbed, public storage did not notify any of us (even with the break in damage being OBVIOUS), there is also water damage at many units. Avoid avoid avoid. Back gate often does not work, office is not opened often during business hours.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! LOTS OF BREAK-INS!!!!! We have had storage here for the last 6 months and returned yesterday to find that our unit had been broken into and ransacked. We were never notified and they weren’t even able to tell us which of the many, many break-ins of the last few months was related to our unit. The police could confirm that they are out here every week for a break-in. I have no idea how ratings are so high as we spoke to others while here that also had been hit during break-ins. Save your time and your belongings and do not choose this location!!!

Hate to do this but this storage facility is the worst I've used. Was just there yesterday and several storage units had been broken into and ransacked. Mine was not THANK GOD. But there are no cameras to deter thieves and clearly the units are not well protected. The frames around the doors of the mid-sized units and not fortified and are easy targets. To top it off there is almost never anyone in the office DURING OFFICE HOURS. They had 3 dollys in there when a bunch of us were outside needing to use them therefore heavier items could not be moved. This was the third time I'd been to the facility with NO ONE IN THE OFFICE DURING OFFICE HOURS. Where TF is everybody? Clearly dodging customers knowing their facility is not great. I don't normally like to leave negative reviews, however this info would have really helped me when I was researching where to go. Others should know ahead of time.

The front office is beyond helpful and considerate. They always take care of renters and make sure to keep the facility clean and safe. Despite what seems like lackluster to zero support from corporate / higher management. The ladies you see every day are absolutely lovely humans!

Not sure how this place has high ratings. I’ve already reported them to the BBB and will be fighting for my money back. When we first secured a basement unit here we thought it smelt moldy but ignored it since we couldn’t find a source of water. Then, we realized it’s probably due to the flooding that happens outside under the roof where we park to run into the facility. They recently increased rates, which is a terrible move from a customer service standpoint, because shortly after, the elevator stopped working, the door lock system stopped working, and whoever was working this particular day that we raised this issue to had an attitude about it. Storage units in ATL are a dime a dozen. Please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. UPDATED: water EVERYWHERE. Unbelievable.

So far so good. We had a bit of a time trying to get the right unit, but Chante went above and beyond to help us. A good sign of things to come! Update: 10 months into our rental and things seem to be falling apart. A few days ago I went to visit my unit and the security feature on the main door was falling off, so that anyone could just walk right in. Then yesterday I went once again and this time 2 of the elevators were not working. This would not have been an issue except I had a large 4-wheel cart that I needed to put away and it cannot go up/down stairs. They raised our rental prices a few months ago and I'm struggling to see where the extra money is going...

I am NEVER able to reach a human being (Ever). I've had issues for over 2 years. During and after doing their online chat, I'm told someone will "contact you within 72 hours". This is when the door and slide lock has been broken. During this 72 hours my unit is open for the taking. Things are missing. TRUST ME: DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY. I'm out as soon as possible. Oh, and sometimes the magnetic doors and entry gates work... and sometimes they don't. Almost got stuck in there.

Came in to get a storage unit and the experience was easy quick and the worker “Tae” was very informative and had very good energy . Would recommend choosing this storage to anyone needing a quick storage in the city

I rented a unit on March 23, 2023. On October 27th, I went into the unit and all my furniture has mold. I have been trying to contact the property manager, along with the insurance company no one seems to want to respond. Then customer service wants to tell me that someone will return call in 24 hrs.

Demonta was amazingly helpful. Leased a new storage unit and was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

MY STORAGE UNIT WAS 1007 IN THE BASEMENT. MOLD DESTROYED EVERYTHING. I ONLY RECEIVED $250 FOR DAMAGES THRU THE INSURANCE. THIS LOCATION SHOULD BE CONDEMNED! THE SMELL AND BREATHING IN THAT ATMOSPHERE WAS HORRIBLE. I EVEN BECAME SICK AFTER REMOVING WHAT I COULD SALVAGE (HARDLY NOTHING) I WILL BE CONTACTING ATLANTA CODE ENFORCEMENT AS WELL AS AN ATTORNEY!!!!

What’s your front desk’s working hours? You can’t just abandon this place!!!!

I had such an amazing experience with Tay who assisted me with transporting my items into my unit. He provided me with such great customer service and care. He made me feel comfortable throughout the process.

Atlanta Police confirmed 68 calls for either theft or disturbance to this Public Storage. They have had numerous break-ins and what is more disturbing is now it is apparent they have only just now caught one culprit who has been breaking into units THE SAME WAY for 1+ years. Management is not concerned with sharing footage in a timely manner, notifying customers or changing doors or security measures to prevent KNOWN AND REPEATING methods of theft. This place should be avoided at all costs.

Tay was very kind and understanding when I arrived at the facility to drop off my belongings for storage. He truly went above and beyond, making sure everything went smoothly for me. He even assisted in finding one of the carts to facilitate the move of my items. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this location. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of storage for their belongings.

While we continually have issues with our door of our unit, I met the most helpful person who works with Public Storage. He took his time to help me gain access to my unit, addressed an issue with a lock on another unit I have, and was so kind and helpful. Gave me a lot of confidence that we would be able to resolve any issues we are having. Public Storage - Sam is a rockstar, and while I know he was only visiting this spot to help out, if you can please just hire a few dozen amazing people like him, I think that would be a great for both public storage and your renters. Thanks Sam!!

Not sure when the hours changed but the access hours and the hours you are actually able to access your storage unit are two different things. Extremely inconvenient- not able to access your unit after 6pm even though the app says 9pm- so if you work a 9-5 during the week days, just plan a weekend to get your stuff.

I have been using this location for about a year and a half. I like that unlike other storage units I have rented I haven’t had any issues with bugs. The manager, Chantal, is always very professional and goes out of their way to help with carts, boxes etc.

We realized that we didn’t rent a big enough space and Chanté was extremely helpful and she was able to find us the perfect sized storage space. She had a fantastic attitude too!

I really liked storing my things here, but this is the fourth time I've been denied access to my unit during open hours because the system was “disabled.” Its become a regular inconvenience. If you need to access your belongings often, do so elsewhere.

Chante was very helpful and courteous when I was looking for a place to store my items. The thoroughness, patience and knowledge was very surprising as you don’t get this at many facilities. She made me feel comfortable and most importantly valued as a customer. I can’t imagine a smoother experience when moving. Trust this location as it’s hard to find places in Atlanta.

Cant access storage unit. During access hours. Gate and door wouldnt open with the code. Called customer service and they said wait till the property manager is on site. Came back in the morning nobody on site and a line of people with the same issue. Do not rent from here. You will not be able to get your things when you want even in office hours.

Living in Buckhead, I passed by several storage companies to patronize this location due to a referral. I was a bit skeptical at first but Chante's service was impeccable. She greeted me instantly. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and precise. I spent a total of 10 minutes securing a storage, which was perfect!!!! If you all don't promote Chante......I'm leaving :) She ROCKS and is very deserving!!!!

We have been using this public storage facility for years so I want to preface that Diamond at the front desk is AMAZING. The one star is directly pointed at the owner of this facility. Do not operate a place of business if you do not plan to staff it during your normal operating hours. We had an entire truckload of crates (33 to be exact ranging from 10-45lbs) that needed to be unloaded and stored. There was NO ONE on premises to either open the bay door or provide a dolly to move our crates. Everything was locked down. Therefore we had to carry all 33 crates up a ramp and to the back of the storage facility. To add more color to the situation we arrived at 10AM and made multiple calls to the number listed with no answer. We also left a voicemail which wasn’t replied to until 11:15AM. Again, if you are going to own a business and provide a number then you may want to answer it during operating hours. If you are going to operate a place of business or represent #publicstorage as a franchisee then staff your facility according to operating hours. If you don’t want to staff your facility then make it very obvious what hours of operation you will have staff onsite to assist those who pay rent and for the three customers that were waiting outside for someone to show up.! You need to do better.

Step 1 made a reservation for a storage unit online. Step 2 received a call from the Public Storage facility to verify my reservation. This complex was broken into 3 times in the month of September and the company never contacted renters to notify us that our belongings were gone. Shortly after the break ins, the company sent me a notice that they were INCREASING the rent on my ransacked space. They also reduced business hours so it was impossible to clear out my ransacked belongings after 6pm. At every step, Public Storage has been intentionally unhelpful. Go elsewhere.
