First time customer and I am happy to give a 5 star review. Making my same day reservation was easy and breezy. Keisha, the property manager is top notch! Very friendly and helpful.
i would pay attention to the most recent reviews with new management to understand how bad this Public storage location has gotten. they incentivize people to write these reviews upon move in at beginning of renting period before the see how bad it is.
The photos I posted is a typical day at public storage- here you see people desperately trying to get into their storage unit but are locked out because of the malfunctioning gate that never works. I could understand if it malfunctioning and they responded quickly but they don’t ever answer their phone or go to the office. It will take them 24 hours or 2 days to respond. people use storage units for work and they are locked out at least 3 times a week. if not locked out, the gate is left wide open for people to come in and break into cars and loot everything in site-see the attached photos of the shattered windshield and glass. The management does not care and does not take any responsibility. They even will raise the price on you while they negligently mismanage the property and never have a solution for this ongoing security gate problem.
I definitely recommend this location! The facility is top-notch, along with the service! Darius and the rest of the staff are great!

I hate that there are no carts available after office hours. It’s dumb and an inconvenience. How hard is it to place carts at each entrance?????? People do move things after office hours. My Jesus
The was the worse experience ever. If I could give zero stars I would. This was my first time renting storage and I was told misleading information. When I got the storage unit initially I created it online. I was told there was a special by an agent after calling to determine that everything was done correctly and that I could pay for the space after viewing it; as well as asking if I would get my money returned for the key and lock because I only needed the space for two days. Upon arrival to the space, I found there was no office. It was being renovated and there was no one there other than cleaners that didn't speak great English nor could they assist. After driving around to the front entrance I located a rep in uniform and asked questions. The onsite representative (female didn't get her name) stated that was not true; no refund would be given for the key return. She also said that the agents on the phone will tell you anything. Nevertheless I didn't get the refund for the key. All of the information I received was conflicting. Even from a man that called from the Westminster location. The day I went to remove my daughters dorm items... there were no carts to move her items and I literally had to move all of the items I placed in storage by hand. Needless to say, that in itself angered me to the highest level. The Hispanic staff that were there didn't realize that my daughter was fluent in Spanish and were saying some unprofessional things as they saw me sweating and seeing how we were frustrated moving the items out. It was an ordeal... a ridiculous ordeal that I don't intend to encounter again.
This place is the absolute worst!…
No one is ever working. Carts are always locked up. Bay doors are always locked up. Trash all over the property both inside and out. People sleeping inside units. People sleeping in cars outside on property.

nobody is ever there. you have to make an appointment for somebody to be in the front???? can’t use the dolly’s because they are locked in the office….
My biggest concern with this location is safety and security. I saw a handful of cars smashed and broken into inside the secondary parking lot, in the back. The gate is always broken as well. From my recent visits over the past month I believe security for customers, staff, and property are severely lacking at this location.
On the other hand, the staff has been helpful and respectful to me thus far. It's a clean and well-kept property. They have access to features like water fountains and loading/unloading ramps.
Side note: the layout of the storage facility is like a big maze with an entrance/exit on either opposite side of it—kinda confusing on your first walk around.
Overall, if you're just looking for space to put your stuff and nothing more, this will do just fine. Just make sure your unit is insured in the case of any burglary attempts haha.

The place is kept pretty clean but the access set up is horribly! its a hassle to open the doors and elevators when you have a dolly full of items and your moving alone. I hardly ever seen anyone there. The carts for customers to use is always locked up. I called two weeks ago for help and waited over an hour before leaving; still havent received a call in return. I only needed the unit for a few weeks, but this has been a headache for no reason. There should be someone on the property at all times.
There was a recent break in, within the las 4-5 days, and that made me extremely numerous to keep my things in this place. There's no guarantee that you things will be kept safe. I wouldn't recommend this specific location because its very questionable. Broken glass and no staff is not a good look to potential and current customers.

Thanks to Diamond, my rental experience has been great. I've rented from other properties before and hands down the Monroe location is the best BECAUSE of her. She is the epitome of her name.
The storage is very secure and clean. The lighting is good. The facility has motion detectors to keep the hallways lighted up. They just built a new gate for better security. I feel safe using the storage facility.

They advertise they makeit less stressful but they have strategically made it the most stressful it could be. They have three loading docks which are always locked.the one entrance hass big concrete spikes preventing anything from coming in or out.
Even the entrance gate has a big concrete spike blocking the box so you have to get out of your car and type in your code.
Instead of having you type in your code in the elevator . They put the box you enter your security code so far from the elevator you have to hit the call button gain .
Nothing in this place is for your convenience.
Staff is here to spy on you and nit pick. And time you. They don't even have the time to clean they are so busy watching everyone. There was something spilled in front of my unit before I moved in and it's still there.so that's 6weeks I know that the place has not been mopped.
Only redeeming quality I have found is that there is a better storage facility walking distance to take your things

Have been a customer of theirs for almost 2 years now. They do not value long term customers and will constantly increase your rent 25-40% without notice. No reason to go from $125 to $189 a month. WARNING FOR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. They WILL give you a lower rate than within 3-6 months expect a BIG increase in your rent amount. Really wanted to have this as a long term option however they want to take advantage of customers.
1st Storage Unit - Initial Monthly Dec 2021 - 10x20 Unit $236 / MONTH
MAY 2022 - PRICE JUMPED TO $319 / MONTH This is a 35% INCREASE ONLY AFTER 6 MONTHS
2nd Storage Unit - Downsized to 10x10ft Unit to save on monthly cost - FEB 2023 - NEW RENT $135/ MONTH
MARCH 2023 - INCREASED TO $182 / MONTH This is a 35% INCREASE AFTER ONLY 1 MONTH, LIKE CLOCKWORK.
They design their back end system to scam people into their pricing tactics and most people do not even notice the increase. Not good business practice. I'll be moving my property out of there this month, tired of supporting a business like this.

Nice storage spot.
Being awarded manager must be given as a prize out a cereal box. Dymonde lacked accountability, understanding, & customer service skills. I waited for an hour at opening for her to arrive back with Starbucks in hand & an attitude. During which time I had to pay another $200 for the movers on standby. This was extremely inconveniencing and made my move increasingly difficult. At the very least I would have expected understanding for the lack of communication on her part.
Lavon was incredible and helpful, really good people. I highly recommend using this facility.

I’m specifically leaving this review about Diamond. I’ve used this storage space for almost a year now for storing my business equipment and things like that. I have had times when diamond has called and said “Hey CeeJai, I know you’re busy, but don’t forget you have a payment coming.” And on every single occasion, every month, she greets me as if sometimes my payments haven’t fallen behind. Even then, she makes herself available even when I’m walking in 3 min before they close, still with a smile. She shows up everyday, and she handles the entire property. Not too many employees get the greatest credit of operating these businesses. It could get frustrating dealing with others’ frustrations but Diamond showcases so much professionalism and patience with dealing with some of us extra customers. They went up on my storage charges one month,and make sure you read your agreements because they have a right to increase charges whenever they want. Diamond did me a solid by requesting my storage unit be back priced to where it was when I originally signed my agreement, and it was approved. Thanks Diamond for always being you!!!

I have been using this place since 2018 and I have used public storage at other locations, but this location is by far the best. First, let me start by saying that Diamond is absolutely amazing. She has excellent customer service, she is friendly, polite and very professional and she goes above and beyond to help. The only issue I have is that every six months they raise the price. I also appreciate the place is kept clean.

Started off fine, but my monthly bill went up an additional $50. That would be understandable if there were new and improved services, but I pay for an exterior lot space. You can barely see the numbers as it is, and the trees dump all over the cars that are stored here.
It was barely worth the price then, and it certainly is not worth it now. It's a shame.

Good little storage place
We moved from Houston Texas to Atlanta Georgia last summer. I rented the space based on reviews. Everything talked very highly about the staff. We worked with Diamond getting the arrangements set. She was a true superstar in ensuring everything was set. We came in with 2 28 foot trailers and everything went smoothly. Diamond just showed me how to use their app on the phone to access the elevator. We have gotten a home and will be moving out in a few weeks. I cannot recommend them any more than I would use them in a heartbeat when I need storage.

Manager is very rude and because they have had break-ins they have been punishing all the customers. I am moving out in a few days. Too expensive for only a few hours a day of access.
