Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 38800 US Highway 19 North, Tarpon Springs, FL

Not at all happy with the service at this location, rented small unit and then tried to rent mt space next to it and was told rented, the space was mt for days, we had over size rented and put few things in unit, rented another unit to move to, same size and paid 123.00 dollars for unit that goes for 76.00, this was during the hurricanes and feel we were price jabbed.

Don’t rent site-unseen. You will never get your money back. National call center said our reservation was climate controlled. Of course it’s not. We went on property for 5 minutes at a cost of $52 and have been fighting for a refund for almost 2 weeks.

Public Storage called me the day after Hurricane Milton hit saying I had to move my boat trailers from the space I rented less than a month ago. The space was large and fit both trailers end to nose. Manager called at noon and said they had to be out that day, that "it was illegal" to have two in the spot. (laughably false) I said okay, i'll rent the space next to them too. He said no, he has someone who wants it. There was almost no gas to be found anywhere, and nobody was renting trucks. I scrambled, found a U-haul rental willing to rent a truck, if I supplied the gas. I got them both out of the space and will NEVER rent from Public Storage again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. Worst experience I ever had with a storage rental.

Outstanding person up front renting. Reason for 4, it's not climate controlled. Humidity & hurricanes in Florida.

First, I agree with the other reviewers, Robert is an excellent manager. He goes above and beyond to help. I deducted 1 star because the unit size was not what was described. The description was 5 x 8. It’s actually 4 x 7. It still serves its purpose, but accuracy counts.

Robert went above and beyond to help me with my storage concerns and needs as the timing was difficult due to Hurricane Helene and the devastation it caused our area!

He even worked with my on an issue i had at the end of my check out date....Other managers could learn a thing or two from this guy....Highly recommend using this location as well. Pam was very helpful with my lost key situation. I thought I would have to hire a locksmith. She informed me they have a service that comes out and cuts the lock for no charge! Thanks for your help again Pam.

I have been renting with public storage on us hwy 19 for a little over a year. Mr. Robert is the on-site manager there and he is nothing short of amazing. His customer service is exceptional and he always go out of his way to make sure I have the best experience every single time I call. Mr. Robert never hesitates to put in a request regarding my unit on my behalf to try and help me out as much as he is able to. Thank you Mr. Robert. I also want to note that I spoke to a female there only once before, I apologize I can't remember her name at the moment, but she is as sweet and thoughtful as they come. : ))

Disappointed. The rent went up within a few months with no notice. Meanwhile, they have the same unit at a lower rate. This is the second time this has happened. Time to move out.

I was so grateful to have been to this location and be helped by the property manager Robert. Our family was going through a very difficult time and he helped us to work through the process and direct us in the proper direction. It was a very emotional time and he showed complete empathy and grace for our situation. He is a very kind person and a professional worker! When we went out to our unit he provided us water even though he didn’t have to. This kindness helped us collect our things and begin a new step in our family’s life.

Robert the Property Mgr, was extremely helpful and walked us through the process of renting a unit. The grounds are kept very clean as well as the storage units.

I only used this unit for a month then removed my items and vacated after closing on my home. I received a vacate confirmation email. They continued charging me for the past two extra months and refuse to refund me. There are a ton of storage companies around. Don't use these thieves.

I’ve been renting storage at this location for the past 4 year and I have to say that that it is safe and well kept the property manager Robert is pleasure to deal with he is attentive and eager address any issues that may arise.

Pretty much all of these storage places are about the same but this one stands out because of the manager Robert. He consistently goes above and beyond and is really great to deal with. I would recommend this public storage squarely because of him and his attention to detail and customer service.

Robert, the manager of this location, is outstanding. He's always very polite and friendly. One time, while going over to my unit, I accidentally didn't slide the latch over all the way, and my lock was basically doing nothing as the door could just be opened right up. But Robert noticed this and called me within a day of when i had done that. Due to company policy, he could could latch & lock it properly, so I had to go over and fix, but nothing inside had been disturbed. This location seems very safe and secure. I recommend using DampRid tubs to help remove moisture from inside your unit.

I have been a customer of Public Storage since it opened at this location in Tarpon Springs (15 plus years ) ...The manager of the property , Robert ,is far and away the best manager I have ever dealt with at Public Storage ....He is always cordial ,polite, friendly and accommodating to any of my needs over the years ....He is the difference between me staying at this location and switching to a smaller unit ( and better price ) at another PS location ,closer to my home ...If customer service is important to you ,Robert's your guy , bar none ...I can't say enough nice things about this man ...

Robert the property manager is always helpful, and has a smile on his face every time I see him. He answers my questions quickly and stops to see if everything is ok when I am on the property. I also like this facility because it’s roads are wide and clean.

They recently changed the doors to our storage locker with out notice. In doing so they ruined some of our tote boxes and removed my old lock. Robert was extremely unprofessional and rude when confronted with the issue.

Robert was very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I'm a travel nurse and had to come off the road to take care of my dad, who unexpectedly lost his battle with cancer. My belongings are in a POD, and I needed a storage unit ASAP to get out from under that big payment. Not only was he able to get me an end unit, but he also gave me the information to give to PODS for a smooth delivery. I had to share my amazing customer service experience I had with Robert the Property Manager Extraordinaire!! He went above and beyond making what is already a very stressful situation,moving, and during the holidays no less which is extra stressful and he took them extra steps to make sure that everything was easier for me. I got multiple units which I ordered online so the units were all across the facility and Robert without me even asking moved my units so that they were in the same building right near each other. He was so delightful to engage with he was professional and courteous and knowledgeable and really went the extra mile and I can not express my gratitude enough. Biggest crooks ever! Even though your contact is mid mo they make you pay in advance n can't go past 1st of next month or they charge an entire mo rent regardless!

Very impressed with the quality service and incomparable prices at this location . The credit belongs to both Robert and Pat for providing excellent quality service. Rates here are not only unbeatable in comparison to competitve storages in the surrounding area, but their friendly customer service, hands down , is on an unprecedented scale. I established my account one month ago, after speaking with Robert on the phone , being quoted an appealing rate , then meeting him for the first time to sign up . I was already overjoyed to be getting an unmatched rate for the size unit I'm renting, but then returning today to make my first payment and to set up auto pay, I was ecstatic to encounter Robert standing outside the front office , on his day off as he later on explained , being greeted by him with a big smile, and a friendly wave hello , then addressing me by my first name...I was shocked he even remembered ...! What a pleasant experience it is to be acknowledged and remembered by first name so soon , considering the short length of time I've been a customer, and after meeting Robert only once just a month ago. Speaks volumes regarding quality customer service which seems to be more inadequate these days ..Meeting Mr. Pat today for the first time at this location today also, once I entered the building to make my payment was equally as delightful. I was happy to find he is just as friendly , courteous, helpful and as pleasnt as Robert . He assisted me through the process of setting up automatic payments to be deducted each month from my checking account , and all while doing so, I couldn't have possibly asked for a more delightful conversation . Together Mr. Pat and Robert make an exceptional pair, and in my opinion , an even more remarkable representation of Public Storage as a whole . Their charming customer service and willingness to help makes for a comfortable enjoyable experience and unfortunately quality customer service seems to be a rarity these days at most establishments, so although I'm not in the habit of posting reviews , these two certainly deserve the recognition.

The manager Robert is awesome! He talked my mom through the online rental process to secure the right unit for us. On move in day he made sure we were happy with the unit and answered all our questions. Although they are going through a remodeling and painting the property is clean, well organized and secure. The gentleman working at the facility Mr. Robert was very helpful and friendly. I have a 5' x 5' unit at a very reasonable rate. The facility overall is clean and secure with a gate which can only be opened with code provided.
