Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 3413 W Hillsborough Ave, Tampa, FL

We recently booked a unit at Public Storage with Morgan. She is super-knowledgeable and patient. Morgan answered all of our questions and made the process very easy. For our move to Tampa if could have her as the one contact to do everything (power/water/internet) I would! :) Had to call back with an Account question and worked with Danielle at this same location. She was very helpful too. They both inspire confidence.

I don't usually leave reviews but I have to give credit where credit is due. I was already having a bad day before coming in to inquire about a storage unit and Danielle's customer service made it a bit better. Danielle inquired about how much stuff I had, showed me some units, and gave me the prices that would best suit me. Her customer service and professionalism were outstanding and as a business owner, that is something I look at when dealing with people (as customer service is severely declining) Danielle appears to be happy doing her job and it shows. Since Christmas is right around the corner, I will have to put her on my list.

The only good thing and experience out of this whole situation is Danielle. That woman deserves a raise and to be district manager or maybe even regional manager. She is the only employee/property manager in the whole company of Public Storage to have a heart and treat me like a human being after Disaster hurricane just hit us and a lot of people lost everything. She understood and Was more than accommodating unlike the people that are over her who have known proper disaster precautions put in place. I’m going to end up losing my storage because I was without power for weeks and work for weeks so I cannot afford it and Public Storage did not put any precautionary measures, unlike a lot of other companies. Not a delayed due date or even an extended grace period time. They just ran everything as normal as if people didn’t just go to a disaster and lose everything. Disgusting to see how greedy a company can be. The only thing that was worth it was , Danielle, the manager helping at that location. She deserves the praise and she deserves a raise. Thank you Danielle. Other than that I’m going to end up losing my storage with everything in it because of late payment but how can I pay when we just got hit with disaster And I’m not getting no relief fund from anywhere. Anyways, thank you Danielle for being an example for the rest of the company that needs to follow your human compassion

If I could gave you zero stars I would. Emailing stating we have access for hurricane prep till 3pm and locking up the gate before that is wrong!!! Unprofessional and I'm so angry. Wasted time and gas to go there for nothing!!!!!!

I needed to downsize my storage unit today, and I was expecting a long, drawn-out process. I met with Morgan in the office, and to my surprise, the process took less than 5 minutes. Morgan was very helpful. She was very thorough, and she explained everything in plain language. Great experience! Thanks again, Morgan.

I went here to inquire about a unit. The rep Danielle answered all of my questions and was very friendly. Ultimately I went with another storage company because of the pricing. If not for the difference in price, I would have rented a unit here.

I had a great experience with a young lady named Danielle, she was friendly professional and knowledgeable. I already have a storage unit at a different facility but because of dealing with her, I am considering switching and moving my items in storage there!

CJ WAS AMAZING! I was having the worst day and needing to move out of my apartment in less than 24 hours, smh. I came in hoping to just catch a break on my day and CJ kept it short, sweet, and smooth. He didn't judge me and he helped me get a storage unit for my situation. I just needed someone understanding and nice and he was very pleasant, helpful, and ready to help a customer! It costs nothing to be kind to another human being and CJ did that. Very professional, thank you!

Just moved to Florida and needed a storage unit temporarily. This place was nice and clean and the office people were friendly.

Update 3/2024: This place is a dump. I’ve had so many issues here over the years, including not being able to access my unit. Today, can’t get it. No one in the office. No one answers the phone. Called corporate, no help. Elevator doesn’t work and there’s no accessible stairs to the upper level. So, I’m just stuck. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. For the prices you pay here, you’d expect better service. Or, some service. . Original review: The property is ok, but…. They increase the rent about 4 times a year. There’s homeless people that are in there often. It’s NOT 24 hour access.

How to stop in the day and make a payment in Morgan was most helpful experience and cheerful glad you had this experience with her thank you very much is a definite asset to your company

Danielle assisted me with finding a new unit and she made the process smooth and easy. She was very patient and gave me options so we could figure out what would work best for me. This property was also very clean!

Very nice gentleman working when I went to pick up my auction unit. Very polite and well mannered. He knew what he was doing. He did a great job considering that was his first time working at this public storage location.

Danielle and Terrell help me out with renting at a different location they were very nice and kind what a great help them two was.

I had to get a unit in a pinch and this place was awesome! I was able to do everything from my phone in advance and pick my unit. The staff was so friendly and helpful!! I never had an issue accessing my unit during business hours. They also have a clean bathroom to use!! I absolutely would recommend them.

Horrible storage place I was homeless got told to come get my things that there was no worries that they were gonna help me out this one time because of my situation and when i got there they told me they wouldnt let me in until i paid so now i cant get my things out i got lied to and my whole life is in there no respect for what people go through what so ever made me feel bad for the situation I was in she was a horrible person all around

I went in to check the price on a unit but unfortunately they didn't have the special I was looking for however Danielle did help me find a location with the special I was in the market for and her customer service is phenomenal. She was very attentive and had answers to all the questions I asked.

I would say i'm a hundred percent happy with the storage facility, but that would be a lie. Storage unit we were supposed to get, Was already occupied. And the one they had to give us made it difficult to unload Our belongongs. Which I'm perfectly happy dealing with.

Some times it's good, Some times not. Some times the bathroom available sometimes it's not, that's how it is with most things. They will constantly raise the price be warned.

I don't normally write reviews, but my experience with this Public Storage was so outstanding, i simply need to share....We were selling out home and needed a storage unit, but the week we were supposed to sell a hurricane hit, forcing us to quickly move all of our possessions into storage overnight. The manager at the time (i believe her name was Latricia Mallard but i could be wrong) worked with us during off-hours on the weekend and made sure we not only had everything we needed, but that our family was safe as well. During the following 6 months we needed the unit, she was always available when we had questions about anything. The responsiveness and the customer service from her was outstanding. After renting a unit from this location, I honestly wouldn't consider renting anywhere else. So thank you to the management and to Public Storage for having such amazing people and service, my family thanks you for all you have done for us!!

Well lit and secured with multiple coded entries. The interior hallways were clean too. Not a bad choice for storing your things.

Josie was very professional I was going to the location on dale mabry hwy storage but it was to much so she gave me another storage location she works at and she helped me saved extra money and was very helpful with my questions and concerns and I use to work with her at Walmart she was awesome today for helping me get a storage today and also save me extra $5 again today and move me closer to the front door instead of going all the way to the back I really appreciate all her help today

Josie is one of the workers at public storage. I called one day for help and she walked me through the whole process. She gave me more time to pay my late fee for the storage I got because I recently lost my brother. Without the help, time, and patients she had I would’ve lost my things.

Convenient location right by my regular grocery store so I occasionally drop things off before shopping to make room in my car again.
