We rented a storage unit to salvage the last items we salvaged from our home after Hurricane Helene. This location failed to tell us they had severely flooded with Helene and that they had a retention pond in the back that had been an issue. We couldn't find any other location with available units, so we rented it (Everyone was on the same boat after the hurricane and storage was limited.)
The second hurricane hit and once again they flooded. The retention pond gave out and sewage pipes bursted. They contacted us to let us know and to tell us to work with their remediation company to clear the storage. When we got there, a week later (they did it by appointment only) I was brought to tears to see it was a 100% loss. The whole unit had flooded with retention pond water and sewage water. There was black mold everywhere!
Please tell me how these people sleep at night??They rented these units in a time of need and took advantage of people who really needed help.
Our total loss was over $30k and all they did was apologize and suggest we bill our home owners insurance.
On top of everything else, the mitigation company employees were looting through our stuff. It was the hardest experience of my life.
I would not recommend this company or location.
Ms.Yolanda and the cleaning crew has been such a blessing to me VERY professional and knowledgeable of their job I am very grateful that they are here to assist me during this time and for making this Process very easy for me again thank you very much to Ms.Yolanda and the cleaning crew very much Appreciative! Ms. Yolanda is a Jewel no matter how many times I called or came up there she was very respectful and knowledgeable and did all she could to help me with a smile on her face and a wonderful attitude again thank you so much:)
I attempted to access my unit at 8pm on October 13th and found out they closed the facility until further notice. The voicemail that was never returned says closed due to the impending storm which was days ago. How can I access my belongings?
Canceled my reservation. Never got my money back. Charged for lock I never saw either.

We came to the storage and found out our unit were too small to fit our vending machine in but Carla and Shelly took good care of us by showing the perfect match for our need. The customer service through the whole process was smooth and exceptional. Thank you ☺️
Heartbroken! I've been a customer for over four years. I was behind on August payment, I made good on the payment. Paid the late fees and lein fees. They still sold all of my property for $40 in an online auction. If I paid for a space for over 4 years, you know it had to be valuable. They stated because I didn't include September's payment with August fees. I showed up September 28, to pay my final payment and move my things out. To find out it was sold two days prior. A customer for 4 long years, no loyalty just like that my things were sold...tears. Don't rent here! The price goes up every six months $60 or more. You're forced to pay insurance that does not cover your property, only their structure. Don't fall for the $1 first month. The late fees are $50 to $70. The goal for them is to raise the price so high you can't afford it, then you fall victim to sale. My cost went from $98 to almost over $400. Look elsewhere don't rent here!!

I had the worst experience imaginable with Public Storage. My belongings were damaged by rats and cockroaches that had infested the storage unit. Despite having insurance, the company only offered to cover a minimal amount of the damages, $250!! I was also shocked to learn that they wanted to charge me for removing the damaged items. The worst part of it all was the complete lack of accountability or responsibility taken by the company. It is deeply concerning that a company entrusted with the safekeeping of people's personal belongings could be so grossly negligent in their duties. I would strongly advise against using this storage company, and urge others to consider their options carefully before entrusting their belongings to anyone. The staff may be nice, but their policies are atrocious and their storage units, at least ours, was full of rats and roaches, and their feces.
I was actively searching for a new storage unit closer to my home because my current storage unit is 45 minutes away from me. I made a reservation online for multiple units. when I went in to this facility I spoke with Carla. I told her id like to see each unit that I reserved to determine which would be best for my storage needs. she walked with me to all the units and gave her honest opinion of every one. it felt like I was talking to family. after an hour I made my decision with the 15x18 unit. she helped walk me through the process of completing the rental and walked me through the app. I am so happy I went with public storage and I’m telling all my friends!

I went into the public storage office because my rent was raised quite a bit to see if I could return it back to my original rate. Carla was there to help and immediately resolved my problems. Staff was very friendly and helpful if I only had to review the staff working today I would have giving 5 stars. I was moving from a larger unit to a smaller unit and discovered my unit had a rat infestation! My clothes, my children's books and toys, the box spring of my bed destroyed! Rat droppings everywhere on and in everything. Some boxes smelt like they may have dead rats in it!

Do not store your belongings here if you need to access them on a regular basis. They only have two carts available so your chances are very slim when you need one to transport items in your unit. Also, there seems to always be issues with the elevators not working. This morning I arrived at 6 AM and was thrilled because there was a cart for me. I loaded the entire cart, got to the elevator and it would not open! At that point I had to unload my cart back into my car and will have to return this evening.
