Agent gave me the wrong locker

If I could gave you zero stars I would. Emailing stating we have access for hurricane prep till 3pm and locking up the gate before that is wrong!!! Unprofessional and I'm so angry. Wasted time and gas to go there for nothing!!!!!!

Price is great for the size unitbI have so no complaints there. Staff was helpful and amazing during my visits. My only complaint is the smell of the building the units are in cus It literally smells like old urine and I'm praying the items in my unit don't catch that smell.

Storage unit was infested with rats so everyone had to move their stuff out so they could renovate the place. It was disgusting.

I'm giving 3 stars because of the facility, but they are currently resolving the issues. The interior had a really bad rodent infestation. The staff was great! Always kind and respectful. They were the saving grace to this location

PUBLIC STORAGE RAISES THE RENT YEARLY, LONG TIME USERS BEWARE. I moved OUT of a Public Storage unit that was rat infested and leaky on 30th Street to get away from this company. Unfortunately, these units were bought out by Public Storage about a year after I moved in. My rent has tripled! My last increase for a 5 x 5 unit was almost $30, bringing it up to around $125 so I moved out. I looked up a move-in ready 5 x 5 unit at this same location and it is advertised for $61 online. So, why is my same unit double the price? Because they can raise the rent and they count on you not moving out. Originally, there were 9 carts at that location. When P.S. bought it, they moved all but 2 carts to their other locations. (The manager told me this). The 2 carts left have rotten wheels that don't turn so well and they are constantly in use. Originally your move in date was the same as your move out date, throughout the month but they changed the rent due date to the first of the month which means people moving out are trying to do so at the end of the month. Everyone needs parking, the elevator and carts at the same time, end of the month. And, if you just want to access your stuff at the end of the month, you'll be also trying for those 2 carts, parking and so on. The garage doors are left open all the time during business hours. Not sure why, since we have codes to use both. This was one of the nice things about that location is you could drive in and have privacy and not worry about your well-being. But now, anyone can walk in (along with rats and mice). It is supposed to be climate controlled but with the heat or A/C pouring out these huge doors, they are NOT climate controlled. I gave my 2 days notice, as required (actually 3 days) but I complained. Strangely, my elevator code did not work when I came to move out. It still said, "Welcome Debbie" so it should have worked. Another couple watched me try for about 10 minutes, and went to the manager who casually said, "The elevator works." I went to the manager and told him it does not work so he got off his butt and came and put in his code. He then told that couple it was user error. I've been using the elevator for many years now, never had a problem. I needed the elevator one more time so the same nice couple used their code since my code still did not work. I had plenty of time to warn them to not move in. As for cleanliness, you can decide for yourself. It's not as filthy as the Public Storage on 30th street, but it is not as clean as the place I'm moving to. If I have to say something nice about this place, I suppose it might work for you if you only plan to stay less than a year.

One word... Horrible!

I have been a customer for many years paid over 200 a month and Rats destoryed all my thing there is rat poop all over every thing this place is a rat trap .

I receive great service from Jaedan each time I come. I can say he is a great face for public storage because he is professional and always gets the job done.

It smells like a demented pet shop. There is rat poop everywhere you can hear the rats in the walls and the rats are humongous (Darn near the size of cats) if it were not for a woman who is currently getting her things out of there right now we would’ve still been in the shed with everything new that we owned destroyed or eaten up, you can see the poop on the floor when you first walk in we have called property managers and they have not been on property. You can literally see the rats bursting out of the indoor storage units wall it smells like people are living in here. The stores was disgusting when we first looked in there, which was today. We will never come here again. pro tip: if you are homeless this is the place to go. Your fellows are here. Any special they have EVEN IF IT IS FREE DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA START FRESH ENTIRELY.

Massive rat infestation, AC units not working at all. Exterior doors ajar. Ways to add fees hunted for consistently, rent increases which is normal in this industry and I wouldn't have minded except for the damage to my items I paid for inside, air conditioned units to preserve. I stored no food etc Funko Pop collection chewed on and has rat feces and urine on them, ruined. Go elsewhere, this is your fair warning.

Ordered online… once I got here they claimed the smell was from spraying but in reality RATS RATS RATS! They are so infested with rats all my brand new stuff was chewed through and pissed on.. there’s ray poop everywhere… and they blame the tenants.

Absolutely awful. I rented a space here for three months. In those three months a rat was present in my unit, there was rat poop everywhere. There were also bed bugs that got into my mattress cover, & it was a brand new mattress. Do NOT store your things here. Additionally, the “air conditioned” units are often warm or hot. The office is well aware of the issues too. Please save yourself the stress & time & go somewhere else.

Expensive storage. No carts 2 help load and no restrooms.

I reserved the unit online. Right away I receive a call from Kira. I had so many questions because I’m moving to Tampa and needed the space but couldn’t get down to the facility for a week. She let me know I can finish the rental online and even walked me through it. It was so easy and she was so nice about it. When I went down to the unit a week later the storage was clean and I even got greeted by kira as she was walking by. I have rented storages in the past but by far I was so surprised and the great customer service provided here. Knowledgeable staff and super friendly. Thanks kira for all the help. Highly recommend it.

I received great and exceptional service from Kira today. Kira went above and beyond to make the process of renting super easy. Kira is a great manager as the property was clean and she was super friendly with other customers.

I absolutely love the staff here at public storage especially the new lady karima but this place has a serious rat issue!! When I rented the storage unit everything seemed to be fine, my rate was $108 now its $176 and i really don’t feel Comfortable paying that fee because the eats their has eating up EVERYTHING their are rat droppings all Over my $2800 dollar bedroom set I have over $1,000 dollar worth of baby clothes in there and it makes me sick to my stomach to even go inside to see what I could possibly save! The smell there is horrendously horrible! I have insurance, I took e few pictures but my stomach is two week to go back to take more! I’m so upset that my kids and I things are ruined! I’m a single mother of 6 kids, it’s not easy to just go out and replace everything so easily

The office staff is great…but the overwhelming amount of rat infestation is a bit much for me. It wasn’t always like that I’m going on two years with this storage location. They have raised rent which is understandable with inflation but haven’t taken care of the problem with the rats. I have an inside unit and I’m afraid not knowing it my tv boxes have been eaten through or not. I’m currently looking for a new storage with

Some people really make a difference, This Public Storage is by far one of the best that I have dealt with and the workers surely make a difference, Today I had the pleasure of interacting with Nyssa, She truly understood the meaning of customer service, well organized and very professional, I have dealt with this agent before and each time she was very Wonderful so I had to take the time out to Commend her for the awesome job she has been doing, Nyssa is always working whenever I see her. I remember once I had reported to her about some insect droppings that was left in the hallway and by the time I went to my storage unit and pass back that way the entire hallway was clean as a whistle.

BEWARE of LATE FEE for the confuse monthly prorate that staff wont explain to you. Regard what they you start, the rate will charge to the end of month but they only take the payment for your next month. (See picture below) So I come in on Jan 28, 2022, they charge for the month which you will assume it end on Feb 27, 2022. However, from Feb 1 to 4, I got 3 calls for late payment after 3 days rent. After talk to manager, she finally explain the proration after 30 min questioning. Staff will nice enough not taking the 3 days payment now. I forgot to make the 10.93 prorate by Feb 27, it cost me 40.93 now. Just beware of this billing system. Billing payment online is not easy either.

I like the arge storage unit but $313 a month is too much especially after I have had the unit for a few years, but I am downsizing and hopefully when we get a home, I won't need them anymore.
