Josie was so extremely helpful. When I first went to book my unit, I never had gotten a storage unit before, and she saved me by recommending a larger unit, after asking me the needs I was looking for. At first I was frustrated, thinking I may have booked something I didn’t need. But boy was Josie right- everything actually barely fit and I would’ve been screwed if she didn’t speak against my first unit! She is also always on site and able to help you at the physical location. Thanks for a great experience.

UPDATE #2: I used to like Diana who runs this location until today. Today my husband and I went to finish clearing out our stuff as we no longer needed the unit. I asked my husband to go and see if we could borrow a broom to clean up the space when we got it empty. Diana decided to yell at my husband about our bill. Now my name is the only name on this account, so she had no business yelling at him. Then she came driving up next to me on her golf cart and yelled at me. I am a 40 year Customer Service veteran. There is absolutely no reason to raise your voice to any customer regardless of the circumstances. I will never do business again with this company!!! I will not tolerate this type of conduct ever. My Grandparents would never speak to me in this manner!!!

Despite corporate greed the customer service rep there is wonderful. Her name is Josie and goes out of her way to help you out. She's professional and cares about her customers. I wish every place had this level of customer service.

This review is for the corporate policy. Not for the assistant that runs the place. She is fabulous. Or the place itself easy to get into and very clean. But this is about how they systematically raise your rate. I think the plan is three times in a year. I literally moved to a different unit because the rate kept being raised. Didn’t think anything about it BUT today I just got an email that this new unit was getting an increase starting 9/1. It’s just downright greed. So I will be taking my stuff out of there and just making room in My Home for it because I hate to be taken advantage of by corporate greed. If you agree, call the corporate number and Complain. We have to stick together.

Very clean, insulated units. Great app. Josie in the office is very helpful and great to work with.

We are now previous tenants, but I still felt the need to share because she was so great in the time we were there.

I been here since 2017 I was late a few months ago due to me working 6/8 weeks out of town for traveling nurse when I came back then had cut my lock and I discovered one of their employees went in my storage and Stole my 5000 dollar Gucci Custome made Leather purse. DO NOT rent a unit here. I have had perfectly good rental experiences with Public Storage elsewhere, but not here. The booking experience was kind of annoying. I was moving from Texas to Florida. On the online reservation system I couldn't set the "move-in" date more than 2 weeks ahead of time for whatever reason and even called to inquire about it. They didn't do anything to work with me even though I was trying to get things lined up ahead of time. So I ended up reserving the unit anyway and paying for it before I was even physically in the state. When I show up the unit that was assigned to me was visibly damaged. The walls are completely covered patch-work style in plywood instead of drywall. This particular unit had a huge hole in the wall to the point I could see the contents of the unit behind it. I could have probably fit my entire body through that hole. I immediately tell the onsite staff and she's apologetic. She finds me another open unit (luckily there was one available) and asks me to inspect it. It was fine, still patch-work style plywood covering the walls, but no gaping holes in the wall. The administrative process of moving me out of the original, damaged unit and into the new unit was problematic. They ended up double charging me for the insurance or something. I kept calling and being reassured the charge would be refunded. I get a physical check in the mail weeks later. Fast forward 8 months. I buy a house and need to move out my belongings. I hire labor to move my belongings. As these men are unpacking the storage unit I am seeing TONS OF ROACHES scattering away from boxes. The movers handled it with grace, but I am horrified. I was afraid to move any of these belongings into my new home. Luckily I have an oversized two car garage and have the movers place all my belongings in there before I end up bringing it all into my home. As I'm unwrapping and unpacking things, I see these little brown pellets everywhere. A quick google search to find out they are ROACH FECES. In the cracks of my sofa that was shrink wrapped. Inside drawers of wrapped furniture. Inside boxes. Everywhere. On everything. I'm internally vomiting at this point. The next few weeks are spent deep cleaning everything to circumvent a roach infestation in my new home. I didn't raise this issue with staff because I honestly don't expect them to do anything about it. How much they care about their business shows in the condition of their units. It's absolutely insane that I paid $220-275 a month for this storage unit. Yes, the price increased after a few months of renting the unit. Also, they don't refund partial payments after the full month's rent is paid for even if you've vacated the unit. ***TLDR*** I am writing this review to warn others to stay away from this place. If you care about your belongings I urge you to find another storage facility and save yourself the hassle of deep cleaning everything you own or throwing everything away.

Don’t do it, Josie may be a nice person, but her leadership doesn’t care, the facility is trash and German roaches run wild. I wish I could give a worse star, but I can’t.

Horrible experience, buyer beware! I made a reservation online with hopes that on the day of move in, someone would be available to show me the actual storage unit. No one was there, I called several times and no response. I decided to just rent the unit sight unseen online and to my disappointment, my worse fears came true. The unit had rat droppings everywhere, the walls were falling apart so badly I could see into the next unit. I was so disturbed, I called the customer service line immediately and demanded a refund. Of course the representative on the phone told me to leave the storage unit and lock where I found it and call back for a refund. I never got a full refund, someone from this place did call and say they were “working on it”. Still haven’t seen anything back. I don’t like writing negative reviews but I was forced to and I don’t want someone else being scammed into this like I was. I don’t know how this place is allowed to rent units like this to people, they need to be shut down. Luckily I found a much cleaner and well taken care of storage place about a mile away and even though it costs more, I have peace of mind knowing my things are not going to be damaged by rats! Fair warning, less doesn’t equal more.

I have been a customer at this location for 3 years now. I communicated with my property manager that I had a death in the family and that I would be making a late payment or two. The manager assured me that she would document my file so no one else would call. Not only did the calls not stop but when I tried to make a payment on there app it would not process my payment. With all this.... A 55 dollar fee was applied at midnight to my account. I was told that this was to start the auction process. When I explained everything to the agent I was told he couldn't help me. Not an ounce of humanity left in the world for our fellow man. Just plain sad. I'll be getting my stuff ASAP.

It is always good

Cockroach infested. Got a unit last night. As we arrived, a lady was bawling her eyes out because she discovered everything she owned was ruined. We arrived first thing in the morning to try to resolve our dilemma. Nobody on site. Nobody will answer calls. The only way we were able to speak to an associate, was to inquire about a new unit. Stay away! Unprofessional and nasty...

I was having issues with my Elderly Mothers storage unit in Sacramento Ca. She lives in Alabama and me in Florida. She moved from California 5yrs ago and had sentimental items put in storage there, then moved to Alabama. She faithfully sent her checks to pay her monthly fee. Fee's went up without her knowledge and with the help of Josie the manager in Florida I was able to get Mom on track, up to date and unit closed. Josie went beyond the call of duty to assit us every step of the way. Highly impressed with her customer service skills, which is very rare indeed.

Everything was as to be expected. First month is 100% free! Very clean units. Manager ( or owner) very kind and helpful.

If I could give them no stars I would. My first week renting a storage unit. The staff and someone else broke into my storage. They said they don’t have any cameras to see who went inside. Worst place to get a storage from. Junkies everywhere

The walls are BUSTED, the ceiling is so moldy it should be condemned. On top of that they want to charge $300 a month on a unit that ISNT air conditioned, is outside and under maintained. Don't listen to all the buffered reviews. Clearly bots.

Thank you for helping me get my RV out! I made a wrong turn and got my 35' RV with a car dolly on the hitch stuck in their enterance. The manager at the time was a great lady who even helped lift the dolly to move it since I had to detach it to get out.

This public storage on 66th and 58th is always very clean, management people are very friendly and helpful. If you need to get storage in st pete, this place is great. Thanks David for helping us.

Wow! The whole process was way easier than I expected it to be and the units are actually affordable. Tristan explained everything very clearly and made me feel very comfortable about leaving all of my stuff there. I would definitely recommend!
