Public Storage in Pompano Beach is a great place to find cheap self storage units along Interstate 95.
The facility is situated on the southwest corner at the intersection of Andrews Avenue and Copans Road, just west of I-95.

No ceiling first off, just chicken wire so anyone with a ladder could raid your storage. Secondly you move your belongings in and then they change the rent 30% higher without notice. Stay away from this place.

Wow never cease to amaze. Recently had a difficult time with extra space storage in two different locations, seems like they don't check there staffs psychological capabilities. Real crazy people. My mom and I have had a 3 storage here since before COVID. It's safe to say I'm coming back to this location because the manager Lilli has always a warm face and respectful demeanor. Paciente and professional, clean and steadfast with diligence and grace. Give Lilli a raise!

Sometimes you get lucky, and a storage facility is more then four walls. We have used this facility for about four years and aside from it being impeccably clean and well maintain there is Lili, the most amazing manager. She is helpful, knowledgeable, concern and kind. This storage unit raised the rate on my unit 2 months after moving all my belongings in and then when i emptied the unit and called to be prorated Jasmine from customer service said that they DO NOT PRORATE. You pay the full month and that's it. They will raise rates until you leave. Never enough carts, horrible service.
Lili is one of the most loving and respectful personal I’ve ever met at public storage on Copans and Andrews…. I can’t speak for other personal but she’s someone if you need things done, she will make a way for you…

Worst storage unit ever! Horrible customer service! Workers will enter your unit without your permission. Staff member illegally obtained my account information and manually charged over $100 on my credit card on file when my storage wasn't due. Elevators sink like a dog urinated in them. Access door has been broken for 2 weeks so you have to manually open it. Door is often left open. Entrance always blocked and you can never find a cart. Facility is dirty and staff keeps the bathroom locked so no one can use it, not even during office hours. Random crash heads and drifters walk inside the gate when you enter the facilit. The worst storage facility that I have EVER rented from! Beware!!!

This is a horrible place. There are a lot of thrives here and if you go through hard times, they accelerate charges so they can take your storage.
Warning, do not go here. Use Extra space storage or other storage facilities.

They were awesome and understanding and helped me handle moving out smoothly, and both of the ladies that work the front desk were super helpful.
Overall, my experience wasn’t bad at this facility. However, I feel the engineers dropped the ball on this one. Front and rear appears to have only one elevator each which makes it challenging if multiple people are trying to move-in/out. The rear entrance only has enough space to fit one truck for loading! Ample parking in the rear but limited loading space available.
Aside from those issues, the facility has lots storage units available, very clean, and it’s temperature controlled.
