Public storage brent road Pensacola wrote my last review. Not me! My storage was broken into a shabby old plastic door and all my power tools and jewelry and other stuff stolen. Plastic door cracked. When i reported door and showed agent cracked door 2 months later it was not fixed. Go to cubesmart 9th Ave. They check 4 times a day with metal unbreakable doors.
Wanna give a HUGE shoutout to Sonnet. She is very nice and understanding. She was so helpful and I’m so thankful i was able to meet her. She has excellent customer service skills and helped relieve most of my stress! Definitely a genuine human being and can tell she loves what she does. She definitely made a difference in my life and i’m so thankful for her!

Check on your stuff and remove everything immediately. It is not real walls inside the units ,It's cardboard. I went back to find More than half of my stuff stolen I had to file a police report. ,and the insurance is only going to pay back $5000 If i'm lucky and I don't even know when that's going to happen. When there was more than that in there, . I was in unit 149 the people behind me broke through the wall which is just 2 pieces of cardboard so they just had to push it through and proceeded to steal stuff out of there anybody that is on the side of them should check their storage units. To make sure they've not had anything stolen.

Unit full of rat feces, dead rats a lot of my furniture is destroyed. All the furniture that my dad gifted before he died a few months ago is ruined.

RATS, RATS, RATS, RATS, RATS, RATS, RATS, RATS, thousands of dollars I'm damaged I have insurance but not rat insurance I feel the should let renters know about rat problems I never had an rat experience in my life omg run all my stuff gone no money to buy a bed no money to replace my stuff I'm so sad..

The worst storage ever!! The walls between the units are a thin Masonite material. There are holes in those walls were you can see into the next unit and see someone else’s stuff. You could simply push down the wall material and steal everything in the the next storage unit. Absolutely no security here!!
And then there are the rodents. From the size of the droppings, they must be medium size rats. Every cardboard box I had in there had holes chewed into it. Everything had rat droppings on it. I was only there 3 months…..those are the reasons I moved out. No wonder the price was reasonable. NEVER AGAIN!! Stay away from Public Storage!!

Overall, not the best experience at this public storage. First of all, our unit was near their trash can (that no one is allowed to use, never had a storage unit NOT have a garbage can to use) and we had an issue with having rats run through our storage, or at least the thousands of remains they left us. Had to sweep out tons of rat **** when we moved out. It ruined a lot of our stuff in there that we had to throw away! We didn't complain about it, we didn't even tell the front desk about it to bother them about it....we just handled it.
Moving out was an issue too!! They made closing out such a hassle for us. Multiple people there said different things when trying to cancel. We had to remove our card from auto pay but then they said nothing else. Not when to be out. Not how to be out. Nothing. We had trouble removing it too! It didn’t successfully remove, charging us for another month we didn’t want!
Why can’t they just say “oh you want to cancel? Great! I can handle that. We cancelled your account, make sure to be out by ____!” -- There was none of that said…they just said “take your card off auto pay”. It's almost like they WANTED us to fail so we could give them more money. We were 2 days late to be out (because we were never told a “get out” date). So then they tried to charge us AGAIN for another month and we said no. They then sent our payment to a debt collector. They were so confusing in how to get out. They even told us we had an extra month to get out! That was NOT the case as they charged us for that month. I spent many extra months paying for the storage unit when all I wanted was to cancel!

So I normally hate storage places ..but ever since Tracy has been a part of the management team she has transformed it and keeps everyone coming back for her witty remarks and warm spirit.
Exceptional service from Tracey, site manager at Brent Lane, Pensacola location. Was desperate for finding storage on a Sunday, Tracey got us a storage unit, solved glitches on App, handled transaction to get us our storage unit quickly. Solved a major crisis for me. Clean, efficient storage, Sunday availability! Cheap, flexible, excellent on-site customer service. General Public Storage 800 phone number very helpful to arrange storage, had site manager call back to solve problems. No impossible phone tree, "thank you for calling, your call is very important to us. We are helping other customers. Your wait will be 28 minutes........." Live, helpful agent available quickly.

Absolutely would not store here unless you have no choice, and until they figure out management. Don't store your precious cargo with a company that doesn't man their store. Trust if there is a problem, they won't be there to help you. You also have to wait a pretty long time for a dolly on the weekends.
Then after a few months they are going to raise your price. After a few more months they will do it again. Next thing you know your cost has doubled in a year.
The same EXACT location I was in the people next to me where paying half my price. I left the next month.

We were in a very bad spot and needed storage quickly. Although I made the reservation for a few days out I called and spoke to Tracy and she was absolutely amazing.
