Had a nice interaction today with the great people over here at Public Storage. Sonnet was very helpful and professional at the front desk. She got me a storage room with more than enough space for my things, at a reasonable price.

I'd give this place five negative Stars I will not be doing business here.
The website says they're open but when you actually show up at 9:20am it's actually not open.
Apparently corporates to lazy to put down actual office hours on their website.
Oh and apparently you're not allowed to just actually look at units you have to reserve them.
And they don't tell you but insurance is mandatory but they refused to give you a quote until you actually reserved the unit.
Oh and shout out to the rude employee, you're the real MVP AH.

I've been a customer for 4years this place is always dirty from the floors, elevators, and carts. The prices constantly increase with no up keep on the building. The management team never tries to work with you to accommodate you in anyway. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Poor management. Don't just read the 5star reviews go view the property yourself it's nasty!

It has been a pleasure since Nicholas has come on the Public Storage team - he was proactive in changing the light bulb in my unit, providing critter packs and keeping me up to date about paperwork and any other things concerning my unit. Every 5-6 mo the price went up $30. By the time we got a storage it was $115, now it’s almost $200. SCAM. Make sure if you get a unit you have your price locked in. They know we are in a weird position and can’t just get all of our stuff out right this second so they go up knowing there is nothing we can do right now. It’s so messed up. How does this place have good reviews??! I’m getting all my stuff out at the end of the month. Ever since they switched company’s they have screwed me. How can you do that to people?! Shame.

I really like the place of business, the manager who had pink in her hair, has become horribly rude and reads to much of the online information to me, as though I am not understanding, but the building overall is very, very suitable for a storage unit.
Giving 1 star because of what I experienced. More than a few of my things got damaged in my indoor unit from what it looks like water damage and there were bugs found in my unit and in my things that I know they were not there before. I am not pleased with my experience. Would recommend to find a place that is cleaner.

Process was clearly, smartly conveyed as the women up front were friendly and smart. I came in, determined what size and location was best for me, looked at a candidate unit, selected it, processed the paperwork, and was out of there in less than 20 minutes. Very efficient process and customer service at the highest level... unusual these days!
i would definitely recommend this storage place if you are looking for one. Lisa in the office is so upbeat and very knowledgeable. This is one of the cleanest places that i have seen and i looked all around Pensacola before choosing this one

My initial one star review occured because of an interaction over the phone with an employee.
After leaving a negative star and explaining my experience, the manager called me today.
The call:
I explained that although I was wrong in my initial inquiry, the attitude of the employee was unbecoming of guest services. I stand by this. The manager gave me her schedule in case I feel more comfortable coming when she was here and need office services.
I was called today by upper management, and told they did listen to our interaction. But they would not be speaking with me about the experience or how it was handled.
Security issues:
I enquired as to why the gate stays open for reasons other than a car. I have seen this several times when entering the Premises, but there is no car in front of me.
I was told it is because Police and Ambulances ride by and trigger the security gate to open up. This is to ensure they are able to get into the facility quickly if need be. Davis is on a main road, less than a mile from a hospital. So, it rises often. She also told me when venders come in the gate stays open.
Unfortunately for us, it is the guests security that is vulnerable.
As a single woman, the lack of security is a bigger issue than the attitude of their employee. We all have our bad days, in how we are sending and recieving information. But this security issue scares me.
For this reason, I will soon find another Storage space. But this time, I will ask questions first.

I've been calling multiple numbers, for days trying to make a payment and none of them would go through. I finally got ahold of the manager and she was extremely rude and trying to force me to set up auto pay, which doesn't work for me. These people are rarely available and I will be getting my items out, as soon as possible.

Make sure you read your contract meticulously. Customer service is meh. FYI, they will not give the code to the secondary person on your account. It's almost pointless to have a secondary person.
