Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 2100 US Highway 301 N, Palmetto, FL

Initially I was pleased with my account. In the past 2 days I have left several messages with the property manager requesting hard copy receipts for my contract agreement, payment receipt, be mailed, to my address on file, because I am unable to forward both documents in a file, from the email copies mailed to me, which is necessary for a legal matter. I did receive a call from the facility, with no voice message. I called back, he is not able available, no return call!

We were looking for covered boat storage near our home and were fortunate to have passed by and met Missy whom at that time had no availability. She agreed to keep us in mind when one became available and sure enough she kept in touch until we received great news and secured out spot imeed. She is great to work with and the facilities are new, clean and very well secured. Were thankful and highly recommend calling or visiting Missy!

Bought a unit, wasn’t bad, carts are beat up and wheel falling off of some. The guy Michael that works there, has an attitude problem, said he would meet us there. We went to the wrong spot and didn’t bother to stop scrolling instagram to say hey guys over here. The other lady, Kristy, (nice/professional) had to walk around the building to let us know. We pull up dude is still scrolling and parked right in front of the loading zone. We asked him to move his golf cart from in front of the loading zone. Angrily, Michael almost backed into the truck with golf cart he was so mad, guess he forgot he was in reverse lol, sped off then stop and slammed on brakes and fast walked off inside to unlock the unit.. If he’s gonna cry about doing his job, go somewhere else bro. I won’t put the rest..

It is the worst place to rent. They changed the lock on my garage without prior notice and without giving me a new key and I was paying on time. It is the worst place. Very bad customer service. They are never in the office and do not solve problems over the phone.

The Staff at Public Storage, in Palmetto are wonderful! They couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful!

I rented this unit online. It did not say anything about the door not being full size. When I went into the office, they offered a unit on the 4th floor for the same price. I paid for a unit with outside access because my entire household is stored there. We had to work around the small door to get all my belongs into the unit. The light did not work in the unit. I moved in the unit in November and told management that the light did not work. Here it is February and they still have not fixed the light. When I go at night to get things, I have to aim my car towards the unit and use my headlights to try to see inside the unit. I am very disappointed in these units.

This storage facility used to be a very nice facility, until Public Storage took it over and put in some of the nastiest people in the office. Incredibly rude. They have no business dealing with the public. Not sure if Jimmy is still there, but he was such a pleasure to deal with. There is a woman that works there now, that needs to take customer service lessons somewhere. I don't recommend this place any more.

The employees that work at the Public Storage facility at 2100 US 301 Palmetto, Fl. are the rudest and this company’s customer service seem to put you off to the side and not give a sh%@ about your issue. They are not willing to help you, they push you off to someone else who is not at the facility. I will say that the District Manager, Jane Mason, took prompt care of my situation when she answered the phone. However, I had been calling and leaving messages for multiple people and they never called back. Missy, the facility manager, was very discourteous and unaccommodating to me regarding my issue. It was obvious she did not want to listen to me. I needed a credit on my account for this particular month. I was not going to pay this month because of the credit, but wasn’t applied yet. Missy was sure to remind me that I would get a late fee if I my bill isn’t paid by the 5th. She then informed the other worker to make sure what she told me was notated in my account. As long as they get their money!!! Jane Mason is the exception to this review.

I used this company for a year back in 2017-18 they were incredibly simple and clean and has climate control. I recommend this facility for all your storage needs and I loved them so much I just came back!

Jimmy and Michael were excellent in the service provided. No pressure to make a deal. Very informative. Helped turn a VERY BAD situation that I was experiencing with another storage facility and received more for my money and less stress.

I downsized my place when I started traveling for work over 2 years ago. I secured a unit here and had everything moved while I was out of state. The rental process was very smooth via online and email. I was given detailed instructions on where the unit was located and access instructions. Definitely no complaint there. Last week was my first time returning to the unit for an extended amount of time to go through items and I have several issues. While the unit is in a climate controlled building, the "control" is easily a balmy 80°. There are motion sensor lights in the hallways, but no lighting whatsoever within the units. I constantly had to pull out my phone flashlight to see further back into the unit. I received an email notification March 27th that there would be TEMPORARY limited access to the units as repairs were being made. I didn't pay it any mind as I wasn't going to be in state anytime soon. Imagine my surprise when I come back in town, now it's June, and the gates are still wide open during the day, with no access at night. Let me add that they have raised rates, which makes it even more irritating that a gate takes over 2 months to fix as we pay exorbitant fees. Update: I just received notification that the gates are now functioning

Prices going up and can only go during business hours as been putting in new gates for over a month and now going to be another 6 weeks. They should be discounting us for the big inconveniences . Now the insurance has raised $2 dollars more per month for 84. Ridiculous.

No bathrooms ( or always locked) couldn't find a waste basket anywhere on the property the gate is broken so the place is not secure and the office staff is dishonest and rude

Lots of room for covered storage. Covered parking storage for RV's, large trailers, large trucks. Also lots of storage in many different sizes both oli side and out. Friendly staff and also very safe and secure with large gated entrance and surrounding fences. Key code to enter or exit.

I went in to get an idea of what kind of storage I needed and ended up getting a spot for my trailer as well. Jimmy was very nice, knowledgeable, and was able to answer every question I had. I highly recommend this place for all of your vehicle and personal items storage needs.

Dale was prompt, courteous, and professional. Lots of stress going on with move and he took good care of us. Keep up the good work.

Highly recommended absolutely flawless! The counterman returned my call immediately listen to my needs set me up immediately, after getting to know the counter Men Jimmy kept contact with me for possible upgrades as per my request. When one was made available he contacted me directly for an upgrade. Worked hand in hand with me was patient with my needs and made a few exceptions to make our storage more accessible. Truly cannot say enough about this place it was clean all the time with high security and high standards fenced-in area cameras everywhere. We utilized a 13 x 20 unit and a covered storage for our trailer and could not have been happier. Highly recommended AMPLE ROOM for multiple vehicles and semis to move safely through the lot without affecting other tenants. We received a couple semi loads of bicycles and pallets very easily in and out a gated community extremely safe. Our unit held over 100 bicycles easily with leftover room. HIGH-END STORAGE, there were high-end motorhomes and boats safely securely parked within this facility along with the amount of bicycles that we had we never had a fear due to the cameras security and electric gates. The management upfront Jimmy and his partner were very attentive and cared for everyone daily through the facility you could see them inspecting all of the units, and outdoor security vehicles making a checklist, looking at the fencing Gates the upkeep of the property. Hands down a place that is hands-on!

I needed to find a storage unit for my parents and Jimmy was extremely helpful and professional. I had to set a lot of this up from several states a way and he made things flow smoothly.

Very positive experience. Place was easy to find, people are great to deal with. I feel very comfortable leaving my RV there.
