Everything was so nice.I moved right and received my king code and my storage was ready with my lockdown.Place started moving my stuff in and it's perfect
They rented me at the wrong location when the rep on the phone reserved me there are 3 rental locations on the same road, then had to jump through hoops and get my refund approved in order to get me rented at the location I intended closest to my house after 4 phone calls to the corporate line. Not Even the worse part I would go into my unit for something and small roaches would be scattering around my belongings at that point I was done after a month, I took my stuff out and had to go through every thing to make sure I wasn’t transporting roaches to my other location, terrible experience. I over looked the poor run down condition of the property and customer service against my better judgment and it costed me. I’ll never use them again. And respond falling short of my expectations is not a goal you strive for is not an excuse or an explanation why the hell you have roaches in your units at that dump site!

I leave lots is reviews and am very honest about my experiences. We had just moved to the area and knew we were going to need a storage for a while. We live in our Class A diesel pusher RV full time. The last location we were based out of had a storage shed we kept a few overflow items in. Things like holiday cooking supplies, soap making kit, car cleaning supplies and other odd and ends.
When we moved here our new lot didn’t have an outdoor shed but we are allowed to have one. But looking, the price of new sheds I could utilize this Public Storage for almost a couple years.
It is close. It’s in a covered location which comes in handy when it’s raining. They treat for insects. It’s insured. They have great hours. It’s clean. The owners live onsite.
When we first tried getting the small unit online there was some issues but calling the owner she fixed us up right quick and even found us a better rate.
We are going to be here for a number of years. I think I’m just going to keep the storage just so I don’t have to move my items again then if we either decide to move I’m not stuck with a shed and having to move everything again or we end up in a house again down the road and have to move it twice.
They also did notify us they were going to be cleaning and repainting the doors. And while they said there shouldn’t be any internal overspray they did offer and we used the complimentary plastic to cover our items.
We are renting a small 5x6 unit. It’s easy access. The hours are 6am to 10pm. We use the app for remote access, it’s Bluetooth so you need to be within about 10 foot to work.
I’d recommend this location for anyone looking for a safe storage location. The owners care about their location. And it’s probably less than a mile for me. So that’s a bonus.

Place was a little sketchy when it was Simply Self Storage, with poor security.
Now that it is Public Storage, it is still sketchy, just high priced. The only thing new was an app I never used. In the past 2 years the price has increased by almost an EXTRA 200%.
Also, when you do leave, DO NOT TELL THEM UNTIL THE LAST BOX IS OUT! They lock you out within hours of you putting in a "Schedule a move out", even if it is in the future. I was locked INSIDE the facility because my gate code was deactivated. Had to wait for another vehicle to dive up and open the gate to get out. Nobody was in the office, and the phone service was a joke!
Look elsewhere. You can do MUCH better. I did.

I give it one star because it is required. I don't think they deserve anything. Bad security. The door doesn't work well. The price of 290 has now risen to $430. I will never use your services again. I don't think it's worth signing a contract for an already quite high price and they keep raising it all the time.

We started renting a unit the day we moved down here earlier this year in Feb. 2023. So I decided it's time to give an honest review! And so far, so good! My husband and I have had a few conversations with the woman who runs the office, Colette, and she is SO nice!! Very kind, and helpful! She just has a great energy!!
The price of our unit is "fair" for the space we're renting, and a little bit less than every place we've seen in the area. We have an outdoor/car access unit and I LOVE that there's a roof structure built OVER the building so when it's raining, you can still get into your unit without getting wet!!
Now, the only real negative thing we've experienced so far is bugs! It's been so SO hard to keep bugs out! Specifically THE SPIDERS! LOL! I'm petrified of them so that's more of a "me problem" plus well...this IS Florida! If management has any tips I'd be forever grateful!
TLDR; I'd give this place a solid 9/10. I would, and HAVE, recommended this place to anybody who needs a storage unit in the area!! :)

It is very difficult to get any assistance once you've become a customer even something as simple as making a payment becomes a complicated task with Simply Storage, there is no simple in Simply Storage.

We rent one of the climate control units. The lights in front of our unit were out and we couldn’t see. I walked to the front to let them know. They drove me back on the golf cart so I wouldn’t have to walk again. Within 5 minutes they were replacing the bulbs.
They are extremely friendly and helpful.

I don't normally leave horrible reviews unless they are waAll my things were clean, dry and bug free when I put my things in storage here back in March. Today I finally moved everything out only to find everything I had got wet somehow, roach infested, mildewed, mildewed smelling, and rotted. Basically ive been spending money to store things that now I have to throw away. If you value your things don't store them at this facility

Although the lady that helped me was new to the location, by around three days, she was very friendly and super helpful throughout the entire process. She even helped me understand how the operations worked such as where my unit was located, how to open the unit, and tested to ensure the gate opened using my designated gate code. Best service I've ever had!

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a storage facility. The manager was aware that I would be moving my stuff in on Sunday. When I got to the storage facility it was still locked and I had a trailer full, with no place to store it. I called and emailed the manager with not luck. I had to find a different location. And wouldn’t you know I will not get my money back (all this happened in less then 72 hours of contact) But that’s ok, I probably saved myself a lot of headaches. Other customers that I seen while trying to get into my storage unit said this place is a ripoff. You start off paying a low rental fee and in a few months you rate skyrockets 3 and 4 times the lease agreement amount. Think before renting, I wish I did it would have saved a lot of headaches.

He answered all my questions and reassured me about any concerns I had. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE. He is confident, witty, and undeniably skilled. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a place to keep their valuables.
