This place is a dump! Monthly charges increase ridiculously every year then there are fees on top of that!
I have an outdoor RV space and it’s just awful!
Trash placed under my RV, trash leaned up against it, trash all around it! Yard waste piled all around and gross items such as used feminine products, food wrappers, empty soda cans, etc.
This place is a pig sty! I will be moving my RV as soon as I possibly can! I would NOT recommend.
**UPDATE: The regional office reached out to me and is actively addressing the situation. I appreciate their efforts and sincerely hope that things improve at this facility.**
I called twice on Saturday morning to confirm that my auction-won storage unit was ready for pickup, as I was about to make a 50-mile drive. No one answered the phone, and despite leaving a message, I received no callback. When I arrived, I found out the unit had already been given to someone else. The manager was rude and unhelpful and made no effort to resolve the issue. Adding to the frustration, I still receive notifications from Storage Treasures stating the unit is available. When I asked the manager to see the unit in person to rule out a system error, she refused. This was my first experience with this facility, and it was truly a nightmare. I rarely leave poor reviews, but this experience cost me time, gas money, and caused unnecessary stress. Completely unacceptable.
Easy check in and out! The worker, Ms. Lisa was very kind and attentive! She even made a courtesy call when I accidentally left my lock keys. The employees are very helpful, this is a great storage unit for college students!

RATS INFESTED OUR SHED. I HAD TO THROW AWAY MY MEDICAL EQUIPMENT INCLUDING MASSAGE THERAPY ITEMS WHICH ARE NOT CHEAP. COULD NOT KEEP THEM AS THE RATS HAD CHEWED THEM UP AND MADE NEST.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Lisa. I reserved a storage online. The facility was very clean and secure..
I had to get a storage unit cause I'm moving with my best friend and kids. Lisa was lovely and so helpful. She had respect and compassion for what we were going through even as she was doing it all on her own. They are clean and very well done units that even supply locks. The prices are also affordable and they also have good deals. Will return for future use.

This company is a perfect example of what is wrong with this country. If you are not use to paying for things in advance then expect to pay late fees. They charge you a fee for everything ,
8 days late they cut your lock off and put a lock on your unit to lock you out. Constantly calling you about money if your even 2 days late and if you need to call them then i hope you don’t expect any help . Don’t fall for the free first month or $1 first month. I got a unit on May 21st and i’ve paid over $400 . That’s with the first month being $1. For a small 10x5 unit. So as of right now July 21st I am 3 weeks late , $28 in fees , the cut my lock off and are going to make me purchase another one and they are saying that my unit is fixing to go to auction!
Now i pay them and i still can’t get into my unit until tomorrow sometime because they have to send someone to take the lock off that they put on it.
It’s like getting a car title loan, cash advance, going to a pawnshop but way worse!

I spoke with Lisa this morning. There was a problem with access to my unit on west Granada. Lisa was exceptional. I was expecting this to take forever, but Lisa got right on it and in less than 20 minutes it was resolved. I am very grateful that she was there. We need more people like her, we really do. Do not rent with these people. I went to the unit. Set up the account online . No lock on the unit. Rat poison in the unit. Smelled of moth balls. Several attempts to resolve the issues. I had to have my bank reverse the charges. Customer no service. Don’t rent here. You have been warned.

I am posting this review because corporate Public Storage does not want to respond to any of their customer inquiries. I have had my storage locker since August that is approximately four months. One month after getting my storage locker it went from life storage to Public Storage and that is when everything went downhill. They increased the taxes on the storage unit even though the taxes in Daytona Beach went down. As of today I get notification that my storage locker is going to cost me $50 more a month starting January 1. Public Storage customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Corporate Public Storage never gets back to you and the poor women in the office are over burdened with problems. I’m certainly hoping that corporate Public Storage actually takes the time to look at this review. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that I haven’t even had my storage unit six months and they’re already increasing it by $50 a month. Hopefully this review will prompt some kind of contact. At this present time I do not recommend Public Storage to anyone.

Horrible customer service. Office door is locked and no associate is ever available during business hours. No phone number to contact. Google business chat available but they don’t respond at all !
Edit: They started out great but forced me to pay for another lock even though I had my own just not with me at the moment a lock was mandatory during checkout. I do not like the fact that they raised the rent while I was there and expected me to just accept that. I moved out. These people have homeless people living in these storage units and they are friends with the lady behind the counter who is magically always somewhere else when you need services. The units are rusted out and molded which will get on your stuff. I thought they were cool but they are just as scammy as the rest. If you need storage dont go here

Courtney the manager was I feel
Pompous when I informed her that after signing up, I took my vehicle to simply self storage to drop it off at night, no one was available to resolve the issue of being locked out as a new customer. The online code didn’t work. I realized that there were no operating hours on the building anywhere. Called customer service they too were closed. Courtney’s excuse was they don’t post operating hours because thieves will know they are there. I’m like what?! No apology just that. I would give them the 1 star they rate but I like the way the storage is set up and my vehicle is visas from three angles. We will see how it goes as I will wait to post this review on other platforms.

When reading the reviews please keep in mind they will ask for you to leave a five star review before handing you the keys to your unit. Basically bribing the customers for reviews. Originally I had left five stars. I vacated my storage unit June 10th but forgot to give a letter of intent to vacate so got charged for July. That's on me, no problem there. The issues started after I called in July to resolve and they reassured me that after the July charge, I'd be set to go. I got charged again in August AND AGAIN in September! Called numerous times and they agreed they accidentally charged me but have yet to refund me. Every time I call I get the run around and the lady on the phone says she's emailed her supervisor but never heard back. We're now in October and they refunded me $198 which doesn't even cover one month on the unit I was charged for ($260). So they've refunded me $198 of the $520 they owe me. Not sure what math they're doing. I called corporate and that was also not very helpful. Again I took the hit for the one month where I didn't leave an intent to vacate but the other two charges should have been refunded to me and we're now in July 2023.

The service is great and I really like the fact that it is so secure. I live in Wisconsin and having a safe place in Florida for my late aunt's things, until I can come get them, is very important. The only reason for the 4 stars is the account portion of the website. I can't log in and there is no option to start a new account. I need to change my payment method and can't because the site doesn't work. This is not the fault of the on-site staff, they are wonderful.

Have had a unit at this place for about 10 yrs. Prices have skyrocketed. Only real security is the lock on our unit. Main gate is open almost everytime we come. Door to bldg is open. I think someone lives in a unit because I have been there late at night and someone comes out in a BMX bike. Lack of carts and the condition of carts is pathetic for the money paid. We reported a flouresent like the was blinking and on the verge of giving you a seizure. Year later it was still doing it. Finally burned out. I mean there has to be 200 units here so no reason not to be clean and maintained. We are only there because of hassle to move our stuff. Planning on getting out after the first of year because we can no longer afford it.

Their storage units will cause you mildew if you have any kind of leather type product stored in it... I had to throw away a whole bunch of boots, jackets and vests because of that place..

Rented a space for bike week 2022. Coming from out of state, I wanted to ensure I would have the space to park a bike trailer. The manager from the Ormond Beach location was very understanding and helped me through the whole process from picking the right size space to booking the rental. Checking in when we arrived in Florida the manager was once again very helpful and made the check in seamlessly smooth. Thank you sooooo much for your amazing customer service!!!!

The managers are great but the regional manager is a reckless greedy person. My rent was increased by $100.00 over night after renting there for about
2 years never missing or being late on any payments , because He says the new clients are renting at this higher rate... You've got to be kidding me Mr JOHN LEWIS !. (District Manager). I see $50.! And that's pretty steep too , but 100.00 Dollars???? What? Are you serious? What happened to customer loyalty?. I'm sorry. I cannot recommend this COMPANY as a good storage option. STAY CLEAR OF SYMPLY
