This place is a very bad joke ( warning whoever rent form this company I rent unit over 2 years form them sold my personal belongings to someone without telling me and took over $674.00 for me and my family after the sold our stuff) not only have big rats problems and also have people living in their storage unit when I ask them about it there where rude people. No issue renting the space but Public Storage has a long history of hiking prices few months after renters move in. That is why the tree stars. My son rents a unit in the climate controlled section and in just one years the unit went from $236 to $308. He is looking at moving out especially after someone broke into his unit and stole some of his equipment.
A smooth transition from truck to storage unit. The moving carts made unloading a breeze. Vick was curtious and helpful. Definitely my go to storage spot.

No notice when the roof leaked so items in unit had time to completely mildew. Had we been notified we could have saved a lot of our belongings. Also had rat infestation.

I am giving this place the chance to make this right. I will delete this review if they do. We scheduled a move out date. The next afternoon. My wife who was 8 months pregnant wound up in the hospital. I was unable to remove the old lock from the unit (THE LOCK THEY PROVIDED AND MADE US USE) Now two months later they are charging us. Even though we moved out ON TIME. Tell your friends tell your family. STAY AWAY from public storage. Ps. I tried to call the help line. The local rep was RUDE. The corporate office is a call line to a different country. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY. Go down the street. Much better storage option AND lower prices.
Not worth the time or the price when there is an extra space storage just down the road. These people are RUDE they nickel and dime you and you end up with spiders cobwebs and RAT POOP on your stuff. DO NOT BOTHER

Service sucks!! No more in-person staff, trash all over the place. Can't access bathrooms. I tried to use the kiosk in the store, but it wasn't working.

I just got a call saying I can’t be there after 9, even though anyone can just walk in. I can’t even bring my kids up because there’s a broken mirror right in front of my unit. They told me if I come after 9 again, they’ll terminate my lease—which is ironic, considering I’ve seen homeless people wandering around and the door is always open. People spend the night in the parking lot and inside. People also stand right in front of the door and smoke. And to add to the chaos, the lights are out and everyone basically has to take the stairs to get to their units. I don’t understand the purpose of paying for climate control if there is none. Really wish I had just gone with Extra Space. Save yourself from going here. And believe those reviews.

I experienced a lot in Daytona/ormand beach. I had no choice but to fly back home, my storage unit key was stolen and then dropped off by somebody who wasn’t even me (nobody notified me of this) I will sue if my daughters baby book and my medical documents are sold on that website rest assure I can’t even be sure my things are still IN that storage unit as you people don’t even have cameras on the second floor. I will pay when I am able to confirm my stuff ALL of my things are still in my locker.

I have rented a storage unit at this facility for a little over a year and it has been horrible since day one. The facility is completely trashed all around the property, including inside. There are drug addicts and homeless people and I’m not just assuming they are, I have witnessed with pictures of them living inside their units. I am on the second floor and one of the elevators does not even work half the time so you have to walk to the other side. The girl that works on the property there is absolutely rude as can be and doesn’t even do her job. It is just a very unsafe place and definitely not worth the price for the units. Canceling mine and getting one at a different facility.
I am very concerned about a security issue at my facility. And I have received no follow-up to the the voice mail I left my property manager.
There are never any carts available, never not once even more than were the only ones in the building. And now the elevator is out, this place is crap.

Nobody on the campus, they call this a kiosk location; two weeks ago the gates and doors were not secured, no code needed for access to the building; trash and dead roaches in the halls; today the building doors wouldn’t work at all even with the codes, and someone sleeping in their truck inside the gate.
First of all was a nightmare to even rent this place through the kiosk that took an hour only to find out it was only one cart to be shared in the facility so here I am with all my stuff to move in and have to carry half of it for the bad back same as hunting bands we ordered new ones people steal them yet All Aboard has plenty. I had to pay my second month by phone because I was told they could not take payments over the phone so I made the payment and endured a $10 convenience. Fee then I get all my stuff moved out the 31st and I went back to check see if I had forgotten something on the 3rd and when I called they said oh we're not giving you a refund you've been there all month since I'm your daddy here June 1st I have pictures I also have pictures of the homeless people that were in here one morning because the door that supposedly can be locked can just be opened right up and I noticed that at night once when I came in somebody just took their hands and open the door so there's not really Security there . Oh and the funny thing is after having to make that last payment somehow they're trying to tell me that I had signed a product hey which was an absolute lives of somebody they're fortunate name in order to make the last payment go through. Do you self a favor don't give a space there you'll be sorry

Ormond Beach, FL 32174 for almost 7 yrs after a loved one passed not only was I not notified that there was roaches & everything had to be trashed, I am still being charged for an additional month when I moved out March 2024 & I still have not received the credit I requested months ago now this account is in collections. They barely have any person at this location which is ridiculous no access to bathrooms as well.

I've been staying here at public storage on 354 west Granada for the last 6 months this facility is absolutely the best. The manager Lisa is by far the nicest and delightful to have managing this property.
I recommend a different facility. It's clean and safe BUT they only have 1 cart for the entire facility and there were 4 people trying to move in and out today. When several people were talking about it, the girl cleaning said they offer the carts as a courtesy. I told her if there's only 1 cart, that's not really helpful to the people that had to wait a couple of hours. She said we should have brought our own...because we all have large moving cart 🫤 SMH.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! ITS BEEN A LIVING HELL EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. Starting with the classic bait and switch. I reserved a $98 unit, but when I got there all they had left they claimed was a unit for $187 that wasn't eligible for the "1st month for $1" I had to takenit or spend another 140 on the movers driving someplace eALL OUR STUFF GOT WATER DAMAGE CAUSE THE ROOF LEAKED AND NOONE NOTICED RIGHT AWAY SO WE HAD TOSS EVERYTHING DUE TO MOLD. Thousands of dollars in losses, not to mention the stuff that's not replaceable. Iwe rented in late October and the water damage happened around November 6 and they still thought I should pay them $187 rent for the next month since I didn't have everything moved into another unit yet. BECAUSE I WAS 7 MONTHS PREGNANT AND HAD PRECLAMPSIA! I HIRED MOVERS TO MOVE IT INTO THE UNIT FOR LIKE $400. I still get that sick feeling in my stomach when I about everything we lost and stoll haven't seen an Insurance payment.
It's gets worse...... the new unit we got was Inside in their supposed climate Control area. LIES!!! THERE ISNT ANY A/C ITS ALWAYS 100° AND SUPER HUMID IN THERE. THE ROOF LEAKS THERE TOO they have totes filled.with water in the hallway catching water. I have video of it raining into someone's unit. And there is cockroaches everywhere. All my stuff is infested now! So is my new car I just bought in November last year! Like who is going to make this right Public Storage? Something needs to be done about this like now before I take this to social media and possibly my lawyer. It can't be legal to knowingly rent Infested spaces to people. And trust me they know it cause the dead ones I stepped on remained in the hallway by the bathroom for weeks and an employee is suppose to walk the grounds daily. So public storage how is this going to be remedied before I move into my new place because them bugs aren't coming with me. I'm disgusted that I had to pay 640$ last week to stop it from being sold at auction just to find my stuff infested with roaches. OMG! DISGUSTING!!

I have called several times, left messages, never received a call back. Been there several times and have never been able to locate a worker. Also COCKROACHES are on the 2nd floor, which we haven't been able to reach anyone to discuss. Very frustrating. Oh, and after a few months our rates are going up by $50 a month. Not pleased.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone had our stuff in an inside unit on the second floor and had been broken into it took them a day and a half before we were even notified and than when we did show up our stuff had been literally swept into a pile with dog feces and we were told they were not responsible..we lost things that cant be replaced like my dogs ashes..

Absolutely adore Lisa and the other staff on property. I am a survivor of domestic violence and had to move pretty quickly and in the rain unfortunately the people that moved me also help themselves to some of my items and made a complete mess of my unit. I also lost my keys and do not have my key card one evening leaving the facility with the craziness in translation of life, Lisa and stuff made things easy and a time where everything seems to be falling apart!! it’s the little things like that make someone’s day when you’re going through a crisis I also happened to witness the same employee Lisa handling a situation, where somebody who has special needs at the counter, and confused about how to use her debit card and entering the unit, she was able to defuse the situation, even helping best person contact a family member on their behalf to help satisfy their needs. I wish that we could have a “ Lisa.” in every establishment I frequent that someone like her is truly one of a kind!!!

We arrived and there was a customer with a situation and due to the complex being under a remodel in the office was in a little job site trailer. This wonderful worker there named Lisa took time to come out side find out what she could do to assist us. Even though there was a situation in the office she walked us through everything and helped expedite our arrival. I am rented public storage units from the east coast to the West Coast and I will have to say that Lisa is the epitome of customer service. Ask for Lisa and you will leave a happy customer too.

Well, I had some sentimental things of value completely ruined due to a leak from the unit above me. Then, spent over 5 months communicating with their fake insurance policy holder just for them to go completely silent (which is why I say it's a fraudulent insurance company scam they have going on there). Tammy is who made the call to the unit holder above me a month later. The female that's running the grounds there now is who refused to simply give the guy a call. Very poor customer service.
TAMMY...you alone get a 5 STAR RATING for being an awesome customer service representative to ALL. Treating and speaking to folks in general (regardless of the title you want to put on a person) how you want to be be treated and spoken to.
Be careful people. The most legitimate appearing of businesses out here are still capable of running scams...right in your face.
Orange door insurance company is fraudulent. Public storage is aware. When I went in the office to question and complain about their insurance company the lady had nothing to say and immediately took it off. But prior to me questioning the identity of the insurance company the girl would like argue with me about getting the insurance. I was hesitant about it for a reason...not to mention like 17 days after renting the unit I received an email informing me that I was due for it a unit rent increase.

I came by to look at the storage unit I placed on hold / reserved for May 12th. I had a printed confirmation. I walked in the side entrance and nobody was there. I waited for a while at the counter and still nobody. I heard some noise coming from down the hall. I walked down there and there was a movie playing on somebody's cell phone in the men's restroom. I walked out and waited in my truck for another 10 minutes. I called corporate and was put on hold. I then saw a very large lady walking out of the restroom area and plopped down at the counter. I came back in and I mentioned I was waiting over 15 minutes. She/it said she was on her lunch break. I thought - At 4:05 pm in the men's restroom? What is she eating there while watching a movie? Why not put a sign on the door or something? I then asked about seeing the unit that I'm moving in on the 12th. She/It said it was rented yesterday and didn't have another. I said I have a printed reservation. She says that just guarantees the price but doesn't hold it. The website even says it holds it! LSS - run from this nightmare and the jabba the hut working there. Disgusting and rude!
Pretty much everything electronic and online. Very easy. Tammi was great helping to cancel insurance. I am hoping they do not increase rates since I was told they do it every 6 months. The prices are high enough..almost double what they were before the pandemic.

Rented a unit. Joe the assistant was very helpful, polite , and advise on what needed. Best customer service I've had in a long time
Location was good but big problem I had was my unit was on second FL all the way in the back of the building.
Elevator assess was a big issue.
Half the time it didn't work.
So I would have to walk all the way to the front to use that elevator to get access to second floor.
When I was moving I tried to put a container back in my unit and Elevator was stuck on the second floor again.
So I had to leave it on the hand truck .
Also the hand trucks Are chained to the wall so can't used them unless you call the office to unlock.
Ladies in front office was nice.
I had to leave a bike behind had no way of removing it or taking it with me.
I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and security at Public Storage of Ormond Beach. Deborah was so helpful. She showed us the space and explained everything. We were considering another storage company but Deborah was so helpful that we took a unit on the spot. Thank you Deborah.
Visited with family to their storage location the building had a privet gated entrance and exit clean inside the building and out well lighting outside and inside can’t tell about prices since I didn’t interact with shop.
It was a great pleasure to work with Joe New Year’s Eve!!! He Helped me get into a new storage unit and made sure my new unit was clean! He was so nice and patient with me. Thanks Joe!!
