My issues with this Public Storage location began in May 2024. I was renting a 10x15 climate-controlled storage unit and was shocked to find it extremely hot during my visit—at least 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Initially, I assumed there were temporary AC issues and remained patient.
However, when I returned at the end of July, I informed the office staff that the AC had not been functioning since May and requested a credit for the additional cost of the climate-controlled unit. I was told, “Sure, I’ll look into that,” but I never heard back.
In early September, I found the AC still not working, which left me frustrated after five months of paying for a service I wasn’t receiving. I refused to pay my rent until the issue was addressed. When I visited the office during business hours, there was no one present on two occasions. I also called multiple times without receiving a response.
Eventually, I received a call—not regarding my concerns, but about my unpaid rent. During my conversation with the property manager, I reiterated my frustrations and requested credits for the months without AC. Instead, I was offered a mere $30 credit for the current month, despite having paid approximately $172 for air conditioning I never received. The property manager dismissed my prior complaints, claiming there was no record of them.
Frustrated and unable to access my unit due to non-payment, I decided to vacate by the end of the month. To my dismay, when I emptied my unit on September 30, the climate control was still nonfunctional. This experience has left me disillusioned with Public Storage, and I will be moving to CubeSmart. I advise potential customers to be cautious before choosing this facility.

Do not rent from this storage keep away it's full of Rats and Roaches. We stored my daughter's and her roomates dorm furniture for the summer..everything was full of roaches and rat droppings some of the items were even chewed on by rats.
I contacted customeIr service and requested a refund and they did not seem to care infact they stated we were lucky we were not charged for leaving some mirrors outside of the storage that had roaches coming out of them. We left the mirrors because if we put them in our car our car would be full of roaches and there is no one on the property to assist in disposing of items nor is there a garbage container near the storage unit.
This is unacceptable !! We would like our money back...I am contacting the health department and better business my daughter had roaches coming out of her furniture even after we cleaned and disinfected everything.
All of our items were covered in Roach and Rat droppings. Roaches were crawling everywhere it was discusting.
It was great and I loved the overall treatment.
While renting a unit for a few months never had any issues with my belongings and customer service. The one problem I had a Mr. Shamar not only assisted me with solving but was very professional and respect even tho I was upset about an unrelated matter. I later apologized and thank him for his help.

Very easy and all was well organized. The key and lock were in the storage and everything was well detailed and explained. The only thing was that I couldn’t find any flatbeds, dollys or rollers to take items. Thankfully I had brought a small wagon to carry things.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! We have applied for storage at July 5th. Moving in date is Juli 6th, today is 7th and we still can’t get acces to the unit (it locked). Time is money, I’m paying for the cargo van because my stuff is still in it (we’re from California!). The Property manager doesn‘t respond for calls, there is nobody at the facility due buisiness hours. I dont remember how many times Ive called to manager and didnt get an answer for my voicemails. My feedback is absolutely negative, I’ll not recommend Publick Storage nobody. Wait for my feedback at all platforms you know!
Went in to ask a couple questions and Josie and Carlos was the best helped me download app and get access to my accounts and answered all my questions property always clean and quiet definitely just storing with Public Storage

What an absolute nightmare to try and get a straight answer from this business. I drove from 3 hours away specifically to speak with an actual person there. Their listed business hours said they were open but the office was locked. I called the number on the door but ended up talking to a rep who was snarky and unprofessional when I asked how to reach the facility manager to get a quote in-person. She said they could email me quote but only after I provided all of my personal info. I asked her to email and text me the quote - received a text link but never received an email quote as promised. In the meantime, nearly an hour later, I received a call from a facility manager of a different nearby location, not the facility manager from which I’d requested a call. By then, I was already back on the road for my 3-hour trip home. Then later, upon returning home, I found that there was an online discount price that was much lower than the monthly cost quoted over the phone but, again, it would not allow me to see a price without entering my personal info, including my driver’s license. Since I did not want to provide this info simply to get a quote, I tried calling again and was connected to a customer service representative who was either dishonest or clueless. At first she told me she could provide me with a quote for the total cost that I’d pay for a specific date range but then provided me with an estimate that was lower than the monthly rates and fees she’d detailed earlier. I asked if that total included taxes and she said yes. When I pointed out the total didn’t make sense because it was lower than the fees she’d detailed out on a monthly basis, she then said it was just an estimate and didn’t include taxes. I asked if she could email me the quote in writing and she said no because the monthly rates could change at any time with 30 days notice. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that none were available and I’d have to call back tomorrow to speak with one. I asked if they could instead leave a message to have a supervisor reach out to me and was told that wasn’t possible either. In summary, I spoke with four representatives and NONE were able to provide a simple quote for the cost to rent a storage unit for 4 months. I’d originally been prepared to pay in full for the reservation when arriving at the location earlier today but now have serious doubts as to the honesty, integrity and customer service of this company. Based on my experience it’s hard to understand why anyone would give them more than 1 star for anything.

Everything could have taken place online with no contact. For me, that was a plus. When we went to our assigned unit, we had some concerns on the condition of it. Update: had to move once prices kept going up not by a few dollars I’m talking doubling once you then jumping again . At my previous A+ storage never had outrageous price hikes . I’d look elsewhere if your looking for long term storage .

This is the best public storage location and experience I’ve had in my life. I’ve been late on multiple occasions where my storage space was supposed to be cleared. I recently relocated to California and couldn’t even be there during times where I was sure I was going to loose my space. So I am truly thank for Stephanie and Judith as well as everything they do for people at this location. It’s great to have people that actually care about what you are going through in life and genuinely want to help you. If you are looking for a location that will work with you as you transition then this Public Storage location is the place to go. I wish they had this kind of environment at all storage places. I rented my unit for 6 months and It was the perfect size that they recommend for my apartment size. The climate control made it even better when trying to move things in the sun and you can step back in to nice cold a/c. The unit was clean with no bug which I loved and all the staff I encountered were so friendly and helpful. When I ran into any issues or concerns Stephanie was so helpful and even went above and beyond to stay a few minutes later to wait for me. I can say this experience was nothing but great after such a sudden move because of the hurricane. I’d definitely choose this location again if I ever needed another storage again!

If you’re looking for a place that’s safe and reliable to store your things, I recommend using this Public Storage. It’s a great area, especially for students. The reason I chose this option is because it was very close in proximity to me. I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Stephanie, she helped explain the process for getting the unit, helped us determine the size we needed, and even went to physically show us each unit so we could make a decision. Silly us decided to go too small, not realizing how fast you can fill the space up, we were in a huge rush only three days into our first unit and she was able to help move us over easily, even finding us a unit as close as possible to the original so it was easier for us to switch all our things over. Stephanie made for a seamless transition to a bigger space. One again why we owe a huge thank you! Thank you Stephanie!

Had a great experience renting storage units at this location. The representatives Stephanie and the trainee Maya (I hope I spelt her name correctly) were very friendly and informative. They showed me several sizes and took their time while I made decisions. I appreciate it!

I’ve waited outside for 30 minutes, called, the front door is locked, no sign on the door, knocked on doors and windows just to get stared at. When I was finally helped, I told them they need a sign to let people know they’re not there, and girl said nothing.
Stephanie was amazing, she let me view multiple spots and also helped me set up the perfect space for my new business storage needs.

Clean and nice..
The staff is friendly and helpful. The gate sometimes doesn't work and is broken but pretty secure. The light in my unit would never turn on but luckily I had an outside unit so plenty of sun to see. Overall the place is nice and I recommend. I would rent here again.
While moving out is so frustrating Stephanie makes it a lot easier with her help out and advises. I appreciate it a lot Stephanie thank you🙏🏽.

Finding last minute storage for 2 college students was tough.. Stephanie made it easy.. found a great rate online, she made sure she explained everything thoroughly for these kids who are new to the process and gave a tour of unit sizes. She helped set up everything online as well to make sure it was done correctly. The units seemed pretty clean and the area felt more comfortable than some others we saw that seemed at bit sketchy.
These kids were much more comfortable renting a unit here than other places we saw that day and you couldn’t beat the price

The staff at this location is very rude. Especially this location’s manager. She is very snippy and short tempered. I would suggest using a storage unit somewhere else if you want a nicer staff experience.
