Cheap, You get what you paid for. Idk about other locations but the 1 @ 210 Park ave Orange Park is horrible. Their climate controlled units are hot,humid, and smell like mildew. If you don't pay your rent by the end of the month they will auction off your stuff. You can let them know you're going to be late and they stil put their lock on your unit which is understandable but they also cut your lock off so you have to buy a new kock and get charged if you don't take theid uo front. I recommend showing up at least 39 minutes after 6am because if your clock is fast and you and you get there at 5:55am according to their, they will call you and rudely make a big deal about you being there after hours and write you up over a a few minutes even though the gate never opened and you never went into the strage area. At night it's better to stay in your car until you get inside the fence because there's people hanging on the side of the convenient store next to the gate most of the time. I haven't had any problems with them but I'm a large male. It was my 1st time being late on rent and I let them know that I there was a mandatory evacuation where I live because of hurricane Milton so I willn't have the money until my next pay check. The prices are great so i'm going to go to another location that's cleaner, better climate control units, and hopefully has better staff.

Warning: rats and they only gave me $250 out of my insurance that I have been paying for a year And I beg you to think twice before you put your insurance on your belongings because it ain’t always true because I had antique furniture and the rats destroyed my things Please think twice about moving your belongings in those units. They have remodeled outside and also remodeled the office area, but I’m leaving a statement for a reason because I just recently experienced and I’m going to expose them. I had rat damage a couple of months ago. Their insurance company that they use is called.Sedgwick It is a third-party Orange door is horrible and I am totally devastated of all the damage and all they gave me was less than $300. They are a rip off and you need to think twice before you bring your belongings at that location 210 and also you better be aware of the other ones also because you need to check them out because when it rains and things drop all up on your furniture, they don’t even wanna pay you for damage, especially when you lose your receipts and get damage in storage less than one year I am going to sue them ‼️‼️‼️ And I wish that I can show you the photo because it is nasty rat damage Also, don’t always buy that reviews they can be from family members and other people that knows the employees but I experienced it and I got photos to show it and also the young lady is not very friendly anyway I don’t ever put my things in storage ever again

BUYERS BEWARE : After my until was broken into . I was told to come and file the insurance now I’m being told the insurance don’t cover it because there’s no way to prove my until was broken into . Weird huh. Not sure what the insurance I’m paying fire is actually for than . Sounds like they are just charging for an insurance that you can’t use or they make up some reason that you can’t use it . Not time I will go with a more popular make because of all the times I’ve had to use a storage unit I have beer been treated like this . And this is after I was not going to worry about it . They were the ones told me to file the claim and now I’m being told otherwise . This is America that we live in people . A bunch of people that no longer honor their word . I’m hoping this happens to no one else .

Constance was an absolute delight to work with! We had a bit of a traveling issue which pushed our arrival time out a good bit and she was willing to stay later than the normal office hours to ensure we were able to take care of everything we needed! It was such a relief as we live an hour away, to not have to come back another unplanned day! Her very kind actions and attitude are very hard to come by these days! Constance you are very much appreciated!

Ms. Connie has been so helpful to me. She took time to answer my questions and help me pick out the best size unit to get for my needs. She went above and beyond just being a customer service rep. She showed me several units that were available and as I said helped pick out best size for me. I really appreciate her and her knowledge of what I was trying to find. May 15, 2024: i’m updating my review. I have finally moved from public storage To ExtraSpace storage due to the Monthly rent being three times the amount it was when I first Moved my belongings in (5X5 unit) and recently finding out that they have rats. I had to throw away a lot of my belongings due to the rat urine and feces all over my belongings. Also, another reason I moved out of PS was due to the extreme heat on hot days when I had to look for something in my unit. Switching over to a climate-controlled storage place was definitely the way to go and I am paying less.

Thanks so much to "J" at the Orange Park, Florida facility. She was very pleasant to work with and got us straightened out with what we needed.

Fantastic storage space! It's gated, which I love for security purposes. The staff are also wonderful! The manager Constance and the specialist Pam were both very helpful, informative and kind. They really swayed my choice in deciding to rent my unit with this company. I'll definitely be recommending this location to folx in my network with storage needs.

Constance was great!!!! She took time to explain in great detail the whole process to an elderly lady with such patience that I event rented an unit and I didn't even need one!!

I'm so thankful for Connie at this unit! She is the on-site manager and willing to go above and beyond to accommodate my needs as I desperately searched for a last minute storage. She showed me temperature controlled and non-temperature controlled units with no hesitation. I came in to move and she followed through with making sure things were still good! I would recommend this storage space to anyone!

The property manage is NEVER on site, and I'm furious with how this place is being ran. They allow trash to be placed inside of my designated spot... my camper is blocked in, from the front and back with trash (couches, mattresss) if I wanted to move I couldnt... I have to walk over mattresses to get inside of my camper this place is disgusting

I really appreciate the service from Mrs. Shannon everytime I have to visit public storage. She didn't try to just sell us a product but she listened to what we were going through and gave us the best help and advice possible. If you are looking for a place that works with you and cares about the people and not just money this is definitely the place. I had the opportunity to run into Shannon and she is a gem. She was extremely patient with all my mistakes and answered my many questions with honesty and compassion.

I don't do these too often but only for the places or people that have really changed my life.. And that's what Ive experienced here.. As crazy as it sounds. If it wasn't for Ms. Shannon's compassion and here excellent care for a customer like me....We would have never been able to move into our dream home. Will never rent a space from them again. We called on September 1, 2022 and let them know we no longer needed the space anymore we were having our vehicle towed to our new house the lady said it was fine and said we had until September 4, 2022 to have vehicle out in order for us to not owe anything. Once it was towed on September 3, 2022 we told office that vehicle was gone lady said ok we were good and did not owe anything. However we have been harassed by them for over a month saying our vehicle was going to have lien placed on it for non payment. We once again went to office and told them again vehicle has been gone the lady said it was fine that she was putting in our account that it has been gone since I he 3rd and we didn't owe anything however we are still getting calls and emails from them harassing us multiple times a week so we call again today and get told we ow nothing but they won't quit freaking calling or emailing still. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very rude and unprofessional she refused to talk to me because it's in my wife name even though I an the one who set it up and paid for it. My wife doesn't need to talk to them when she has talked to them multiple times and they still are incapable of doing their job. I told the lady on phone I will be contacting better business bureau and my personal attorney cause I am not going to keep getting harassed daily when the stupid people have acknowledged we have took the vehicle out when it was supposed to be and confirm that we don't owe anythingm ridiculous that they want to harass us and the irritating thing is they don't email or call my wife they call and email me. Worse customer service ever do not recommend using this company as they obviously don't know how to do their job and close the account when we closed it over a month ago.

If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. I have been a loyal customer for TEN, yes 10 years. My rate started out at $32 for a 5x10 unit. It raised about $3 to $6 whenever they did raise it when they make those decisions every 6 months. Come 2021 they raised it $15 in August and now 1 yr later just raised it again another $25. They're charging me $135 for the unit, but offering it at $69 for new customers. So to make up for the cost you're putting the price hike on your loyal long-term customers so you can reel in others at a lower price then raise their rates too. This is totally unacceptable, $35 higher in 1 year. You weren't willing to negotiate any price reduction with me because you kept it at $95 for 6 months in 2021 instead of the $110 as the new rate. In all 10 yrs you gave me 1 price freeze for 6 months, but denying anything else to me now. When I made my calls to other companies offering the same thing, they're renting the same size unit for $25, $35, & $70 at most with the rates only increasing $5-$8 at most. You will be losing my business at this point, being a long-term customer means nothing to you. This place isn't where it's at, don't let them lure you in on that cheap rate because now with inflation they'll be heavily raising the rates every 6 months! Don't do business with them!!! 9/5/2022 NOTHING changed so forwarding this to the team did NOTHING!!!

Over the 2 years that I have had a storage unit here the service has always been great. I recently switched to a smaller unit and the staff could not have been more helpful in making that transition easy, going out of their way to ensure I was not charged for two units simultaneously. Thanks so much. The facility is also great, easy access and clean units.

Great experience. Shannon was very pleasant and very helpful. I have changed my review of Public Storage based solely on the fact that after being there only 4 months they raised my rent from $145.52 to $170.13. They know the time and expense it would take to move your stuff to another facility, so I feel they take the opportunity to take advantage of that situation.
