This is the worst place to store your belongings and valuables. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. In addition the storage opens and closes from 6am to 6pm but the staff is rarely on time and often leaves early. Plus there gates don’t work most of the time so it makes it hard or nearly impossible to get access to your belongings. They also open your storage unit while you’re not there so PLEASE be mindful of that. I had someone open my storage unit with out my permission not knowing I was there and when I asked why they said they was trying to show a customer who wanted to see a storage room how it looked!!! Like you can’t show them a vacant one and everything is on file so there are records on which storage room are occupied and not so that made no sense. Look at the records find a vacant storage room and show them that one not mine with my belongings and valuables in it.
Rachel was awesome. So very helpful and professional. I had an issue and she made it right. Could not be happier with her assistance. Fast and courteous service. Also provided additional information that will make moving easier.

The workers are extremely rude. I rented for over 20 years, went to consolidate two small units into a larger unit and when I arrived with the movers the larger unit was flooded with water and uninhabitable. They did absolutely nothing to make it right and I ended up having to pay the Mover twice to take my items away and come back the next day. Suffice it to say I moved my business to a local competitor in a much safer area and a much newer high-tech building in plantation. It's called more storage space. The price was a fraction of what these people have been charging me for years. They are doing nothing but running a scam. And you risk getting shot by a drive by shooter stay away

Things never seem to go smoothly there. My unit has 3 doors and they supplied 1 lock. I moved in after they had closed the office and had to wait til the next day to attach more locks. There was a landscaping truck and trailer blocking the exit door. This is my 2nd unit renting there. The 1st was also a fiasco.

Natasha and the ladies were a joy to work with. I initially reserved a large storage unit that I discovered had a small entry door and Natasha graciously changed me to a rollup door version and found me an RV spot so I would highly recommend these ladies at this public storage.

Clean and convenient. Location is great, if you weren't looking you might no know it's even there so feel it's safer then most self storage business. Woman at the sales counter has been there for years.
Friendly decent staff of ladies. Picked up a lot of nails in tires here. Also lots of dirt and debris blows from the entire area, being in a corner outdoor unit. Pot holes in entry drive to 1st gate.

We moved to this storage facility from one in West Palm Beach, which was with the same company. The one in WPB was excellent. This one is horrible. The staff is rude, IF they even pay any attention to you at all. When you ask for something, and they have to give you an answer, they just bark one-line sentences at you, and then go back to ignoring you. The facility is dirty, the elevator is constantly out of order, and when you want to talk to one of the women working there about that, they don't care at all, and don't try to resolve anything. As a company, there is nothing wrong with Public Storage, but I recommend you stay away from this particular facility. I moved out yesterday, and am very happy never to have to deal with these women again!

The building manager doesn't respond to calls and doesn't return messages. Trying to get through to someone over the phone is next to impossible and when I did manage to get through to a real person for an urgent matter, they refused to help in any way and hung up the phone. I would strongly encourage anyone who values customer service to stay away from this business and not trust them with your belongings.
A note to Public Storage: Please don't respond to this review with a feeble response thanking me for my feedback and promising to improve. It is clear from my conversations with your staff that this attitude is endemic in your organisation and is never going to change.

Let me tell you, this location has the most respectful, diligent and focused managerial staff. Soaking mainly of thethe young lady that went out of the way to help in every step. This Flintstone needed some assistance in this Jetson world and it appeared in every way not to be an inconvenience at all.

This business is a part of the problem in this country. GREED. I’m paying more for storage than for my car. WHY??? I’m now paying close to $500 monthly for storage. WHY????? Two years ago it was $79. I booked a 10x15.. when I arrived it was not available.. after a lengthy conversation on the phone with a rep. Ridiculous. I ended up paying more for a space I didn’t need now this business has the audacity to email me to let me know I have to pay $100 more a month. SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOUR GREED. I hope this business goes under.

I rented a unit at another public storage that got flooded a few weeks ago and had to move my stuff. I picked this public storage because it’s right up the street and glad I did. This place is way nicer, cleaner and Natasha was a lot of help. I had reserved a unit over the phone and when I arrived that unit was no longer available, damn, but Natasha was quick to find me another. Natasha eased the stress with her helpfulness, professionalism and friendly personality. THANK YOU NATSHA... NATASHA DESERVES A RAISE! Well they were helpful ones what can I say in February and scratch that in December I got the first covid vaccination in January I got the second one in February on the 15th I was in the hospital with covid pneumonia 3 weeks they they did me wrong no help no nothing I had to beg friends to help me so I wouldn't lose my storage unit after being in the hospital for 43 days I was asked not to call the district managers he would no longer help me and I'd have to take it up with the individual storage place if I could if I had the health I would move my stuff out of there because they don't care about the individual they don't care about anything but the bottom line and that's their profit

Clean spaces and should be secured but the gates are frequently stuck in the open position. Dont be caught onsite after 9pm, the police will be called,, and you will be fined. The area is enormous and not laid out well. The spaces are numerous and this makes things hard to find. If you want to get directions to your unit when renting online or from the office, get directions and a map. This will be a huge help, otherwise you are sure to get lost in the maze. The place will also raise the rent shortly after renting, and then periodically thereafter. So, always shop around for deals.

They raise rent a lot, destroy your padlock and lock you out for late payments, late fees can add up to 80 dollars, bad hours and then ask for payment 24 days in advance. They behave this way because they don't feel competition to change. They have a smug way of doing business really tacky and sneaky.
All the employee and staff ahve been very helpful and courteous thankful to have met such a great group of people. Natasha's the best !

Please do not use Public Storage. Their customer service line is extremely rude. Hung up on me twice. They supposedly have a text option for assistance but every text you send they keep asking to repeat your question a different way. Just horrible! Please save yourself the trouble.

Made a reservation for a small climatized storage unit. Stopped at the office the next day and imagine this, they try to sell me an none climatized storage unit and explaining to me it is so warm, because it is an outside unit.
Can’t imagine what kind of poor sevice you are receiving today.

Stinky, not that clean, poorly lit, not well operated. Customer service is atrocious, although two people were outstanding. Rented online got there, I wouldn't use it ever for many reasons building wasn't even marked correctly. I'm just going to stop here. I canceled same day.

When making the decision to rent space from this storage facility you are Signing up with the best storage facility staff in the area. Starting with Shay and how she uses her attention to detail on bay size, access, cost and location depending on your needs, along with Diana's 10 years as the facilities accountant covers all the economics and we don't want to leave out Sierra and Crystal and of course the charming ZO covering all the bases at this facility them which makes V number one storage facility in Oakland Park.
