When I called to schedule a storage rental appointment with Mike, I didn't know what to expect other than another lengthy walk through or redtape process from a mouthy sales guy. Mike didn't do that at all. Mike immediately built good rapport, did a quick showing of the unit and explained everything up front while I downloaded the Public Storage google app to get me going. The Public Storage management team is friendly, professional, and expeditious while meeting all of your storage needs.
Mike helped me get a unit today and made the process so easy. He went out of his way to show me the promotion going on at the moment and gave me the best possible deal. He was transparent and honest and very helpful. He showed me how to gain access through the app. Answered all my questions with a smile too. Happy with my experience today.

I had an absolutely bad experience when I came in to rent a storage locker. From the moment I walked in, I was met with nothing but rudeness and a complete lack of professionalism. The staff member with a notary badge was not just rude—he was downright dismissive. To top it off, they had the audacity to lock the door a full 10 minutes before closing, making it clear that they had no interest in helping me.
When I asked about viewing a locker, I was told to make an appointment instead, but the way it was said felt like they couldn’t care less about my business. I’ve never encountered such terrible service in my life. Trust me, if you value being treated with respect, stay far away from this place. I’ll never be back, and I strongly advise others to avoid this location at all costs.

Mike L, the manager today reinstated my faith in solid honest. customer service. He listened, didn’t promise but told me he will assist in trying and whatever the outcome. The fact he did great at his job and making me feel not alone when I’m in a different state made all the difference. When I joined online and then in person, I was misguided with pricing and contract length. I was dealing with a lot with having to leave Miami for 1-2 years short notice to take care of family in NY and breaking down 1/1 apartment and life I created over 10 years and put in storage in a long weekend was mentally and physically exhausting. Regardless, I really love the employees at this location and Mike L, made me feel comforted and whatever the outcome is I’ll handle it. Thank you, Mike!

After a very short time, my rent increased 30%. I asked for a lessening of rent increase or rationale why it increased so much after just a few months, and I was submitted to their corporate web of a phone system. The managers on site are quite nice and kind but they are helpless when the corporate infrastructure takes over and gouges you with a 30% rate increase. I would not recommend Public Storage to anybody.

We originally got a 5x5 and when we arrived, we didn’t realize how small it was and needed something much larger. Alex helped us upgrade and did it in a hurry seeing that it was at the end of their work day as well as even showed us our new unit to make sure it would be sufficient in size. I recently used Public Storage and while I appreciate the newer facility, my experience was less than ideal. The access times are inconvenient compared to other public storage facilities. Additionally, the manager seems to have nothing better to do than to flex his authority and find ways to make things difficult for customers.
On two occasions, I caught homeless people living in the facility who were clearly not authorized to be there. This raised concerns about the security of my belongings stored there. I would not recommend this facility due to the limited access to my items and the poor management by the manager who seems to be more interested in showing off his authority than providing good customer service. Overall, my experience with Public Storage was disappointing and I will be looking for other options in the future.

I rented a last-minute storage unit here after a bad breakup, and upon arrival, I realized the unit I rented was too small for me. The gentleman working at the storage (Roby) helped me select the appropriately sized storage unit for me and did all the paperwork to change my reservation. He calmed me down, helped me bring all my things inside, and assisted me in getting everything I needed into the new storage unit. The staff is polite, helpful, emotionally intelligent, and kind. The storage facility is clean, safe, and located in a great area of South Beach. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Public Storage. Big thank you to their employee Roby for being professional, attentive, helpful, and kind. I had a wonderful experience here and am sure you will too.

Following the extreme disappointment on how the late charge on the payment was handled it is even made worst by the fact that the messages left for the District Manager Supervisor were not ever returned. This company does not deserve to have people place their confidence in storing their valuables with them.

My company rents two big units at this place. The guy that was working today on the morning shift (He told me he was a manager), was super rude and acted obnoxiously ignorant. Myself and a coworker arrived at 9:28am and we didn't know that they open at 9:30am. Since the codes didn't open the gate, I approached the big glass wall and knocked just to ask why this was not opening, this guy who was inside facing the glass ignored us during the 2 or 3 minutes we were trying to get his attention. At 9:31 he opened the door like no one was there waiting outside. He didn't even said good morning, he opened the door with a bad attitude and walked away. We were so shocked by his rudeness and attitude that I asked him to provide me with a Manager number to complaint, and he says that he was the manager. I will follow up with Corporate about this incident, I cant believe that a Manager can act this way with customers... there was no sense of service at all. Hopefully there are security cameras that recorded this incident and can be reviewed as a proof of what exactly a Manager should no act with a customer that arrives two minutes earlier than the opening hours. Hopefully this guy can be replaced with someone that truly cares about customer service and represents the values of the company.

Mike and Rob were fantastic- super efficient and patient! The explanations for the process were clear and concise. They provided the most affordable opportunities and ease of setting up the storage. We had a wonderful experience at the Miami Beach Public Storage. We rented the unit for around 3 years and their staff was always ready to help and assist us every step of the way. At this facility Roby is helpful patient and attentive to the customers needs. He takes more than enough time to explain protocols and procedures and helps out anyone who requires his assistance. I have seen him demonstrate this not only to me but to several other customers who ran into a wide range of issues. He is the reason that I like this particular facility as well as why I will continue to patronage this establishment. In conclusion, Roby goes above and beyond what is required to address customers concerns.

Check your agreement! I am renting a 5x5 space in 2021 at the Public Storage in Miami. And they raised my rent in 2022 to 30% higher than it was the first year.

I practice gratitude daily always, but they both deserve way more than gratitude and thanks. On 2 occasions in a row they were truly my guardian angels. I’ve encountered a lot of good people in my life so far, but these 2 I can barely find words to use to express how truly kind and compassionate they are as staff here and also just as human beings.
