The worst experience of my life. The door of my unity unhinged. I got no help!!! My belongings exposed. I had to get to airport and the lady downstairs had no sympathy and said I had an attitude. Am crying.

I just rent the space last week, we've been trying to get into the building for the past 3 days. The building is close. They have a sing saying when they are close but not when they are going to open. I left a message on Saturday i need someone to contact me please. I am still in the middle of a moving and now the building is close?
Terrible! Stay way! They had a flood during recent rains. That is understandable. But to not return calls of long time customers is not. They just want your money. They do not care about you or your things! Go elsewhere!

BEWARE!!! They increase the rent every few months. This time, they are increasing my rent by $66 for a total of $289.07 for a 5x10 unit! That’s insane! There are 8x10 units for rent for $189, however they will not give me that price. I have to transfer my belongings to the cheaper unit if I want the lower price. I don’t leave the facility because my apartment is very close by.
The employees are very nice and helpful but, that is beyond their control.

Horible, it doesn’t even deserve one star. Full of cockroaches and other bugs - first thing when I opened the unit that I reserved was to kill a cockroach. And it’s super hot inside. Needless to say I won’t ever put my things in there. Property manager nowhere to be found, I waited for an hour and customer service does not care. I took videos of the alive cockroaches but it won’t let me upload them here.

Im not one to ever leave reviews but this one here is NECESSARY! I do a lot of traveling and have used many different companies in the past to store my belongings. However My experience at this location with Tasha was by far one of the top customer service experiences Ive had in a long while. Tasha is very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. She maintains a professional demeanor but is yet very pleasant. I have no doubt that my valuables is secure and safe here. I appreciate this young ladys attitude and energy towards me today and everything other time I encounter her and the security guard (gentleman) that works with her. I hope that the company values (Public Storage) them as much as she values her customers. Do your thing Tash!

My family and I have been on and off using public storage for over thirty years and this location as long as I can remember as needed, since we always have too much stuff, since back when they had a Zephyrhills type water dispenser in the office. For a long while, years even, I had dreaded having to visit in person and speak to the staff over there because prior to this manager and one lady before her, the staff has largely been very unprofessional, barely doing their job, and ignoring, being aggressive and terrible with service and customers, and I visibly saw many people upset about it.
So I can't be more grateful that someone finally hired proper staffing and that I can be met with kindness and calmness and be able to communicate my needs and questions and have them answered rather than fought about, and my latest unit (my family owns several) rental went smoothly and happily and the communication was great, and the phone calls aren't rude and harrassive either. Never been Happier to have a storage unit here. Grateful for the help and kindness. And when anything comes up, Tasha is on it quickly and efficiently and professionally. Tasha, you are the best, a real asset in a critical time in our community. Thanks so much!

After calls with a local manager who couldn't offer a refund, I was able to get a refund for the month after speaking to a regional manager, only being subject to an administrative fee.
Original:
Rented a space here to hold my stuff for my move to Miami Beach, drove 16+ hours across the country and arrived at midnight to find the unit wouldn't fit my needs. Never opened the tag on the door, called and asked to cancel my account since I needed to find a different space, and asked for a refund since I never used it. They would only refund me the cost of the Lock they automatically charge for on sign-up because I didn't request the cancel before the original move-in date. Every other storage rental company I have worked with would never charge for an unused space, and would work me to find the appropriate space. Will not recommend this brand to anyone in the future due to this asinine policy of charging people for unused services. I guess a month's rent is the cost of experience to learn I won't be working with Public Storage again.

Tasha, who manages the 331 69th St Miami Beach location, is one of those rare people. She is a pro and helps alleviate some of the pain when moving to a new home and having to store one's stuff at a public storage location. She is not only knowledgeable and helpful, but each time I have to go to my storage unit, I know she is there to help with answers to my questions but even better, she will greet me with a big and friendly hello. Publix Storage is very fortunate to have Tasha on their team.

I’m moving out today and I am going to really miss Tasha. Ever since she came on board to 69th St Public Storage I have felt safe and she is always available for all customer service with a smile. I had been using the storage unit for years with the manual code until Tasha took the time to set me up digitally on my mobile phone. I always see her tiding up. She’s great!

Sometimes public storage sucks but that’s because of the headquarters. This location is on point. Tasha is a super organized and goes above and beyond for her customers. She ensures that everything is in order and provides comfort for her customers' belongings. Every time I walk in, she says hi and her commitment to customer service and willingness to go the extra mile make her an invaluable asset to the team. She’s on point with scheduling and has post it notes with details all over her desk. She pays attention to detail and, from my experience, is only held back by third party contractors and services. If she can do it, she will. Very determined 5/5

I would have given 1 star for all of the hassles and drama I dealt with with the company to secure a suitable unit under stressful personal circumstances and not feel like a pawn in a switch and bait advertising scheme. However, thanks to Taasha’s kindness, professionalism and checking in with me, and District Manager James’s diligence to help me figure out the situation, I am giving the location 4 stars. I told Taasha she’s my new best friend!
I have had a storage here for almost a year and everytime I come by Tasha provided me exceptional service! If I ever do need to rent another storage space I will definetly come back to this one!

I have had a unit here at the 69th street Miami Beach for about a year and have had the best experience. The facility is clean and the staff are really helpful. I had a particularly nice experience with Tasha who is always so friendly and helpful. She recently helped me with a new reservation and made sure my unit was the right one for my needs.thank you, Tasha! Can’t recommend enough 😊

I have the worse experience in my life, especially with this location. Before coming there we did make an appointment, so we will be able to get our storage. I arrived there around 5:00 pm and waited 35 mins just for assistance. She saw me and didn’t eve pain attention to me and for two others people. It’s seems like she didn’t even care about costumes.
So we were waited by 6 pm, until the lights get down. Still nobody came to us to get service. This is not how service has to provide for costumers. Never will come back to this place again.

I paid for a 5x10 I go to this place. It's hot dirty and made out of wood. I called and asked for a refund didn't even look at my unit. This place was gross. I had to wait more than 30 days for my refund. Also they took 30 dollars as a Processing fee. I didn't even use my unit. So not only did it take a month to get my money, but they got 30 dollars from me.
UNITS ARE NOT SECURE, EVERYTHING STOLEN:
On August 5th I visited my unit, to add additional items, only to learn that the entirety of contents had been stolen. EVERYTHING. I filed police reports, no help there. Have contacted management at all levels, again, no help there. I was told it was a pick-proof lock and there was no way to enter without a locksmith cutting the lock. In the photos you can see the ease at which I opened my unit with just a screwdriver. The whole experience has been appalling. Their required ‘Orange Door’ insurance only covers 7K of loss. I would like to add that the on-site staff, mostly Shema, are kind and helpful people - very professional.

I am a long time Public Storage customer and appreciate their corporate culture of caring about customer service and hiring people that care. I am especially pleased with my recent visit and experience at this location with Teshema. Every once in a while, you meet an employee or work with someone that not only cares about their customers but goes above and beyond in trying to help them. Such was the case with Teshema. She’s very professional. She provided personal attention, answered my questions, and had excellent solutions. It was a much appreciated 5-star customer service. I arrive at the place the day of Mooving to found out that the space you can get access only with a leather it’s 8 feet high from the floor now not only I have to get a new place but they have to fight for my money back unreal why a scam

I’m incredibly grateful for, and satisfied with, my experience at this storage location. I met and worked with Zee, who greeted me with a smile, patiently listened to all of my needs and concerns, and took the time to show me a number of different units on site so I could weigh the pros and cons of each before arriving at a decision. I never felt rushed. And I could tell that Zee wanted to make sure I found the best fit for my tight timeline and budget. I arrived stressed & worried and left happy & assured with my unit rental. I honestly don't like this huge place, came to help Victor out today guy said no restrooms in this prison looking area, went to the back where there a EXIT let my river go down stream; you people seriously need put a public bathroom. HOW DO YOU HAVE A BIG LOT WITH 1 BATHROOM FOR 1 PERSON? EXPLAIN
