This Public Storage in Largo is a great place to find cheap self storage on State Road 688 on the south side of town.
Perched on Walsingham Road between 137th Street and Oakhurst Road, this facility offers several different types of cheap storage units, including indoor storage units and outdoor storage units, as well as the option of climate controlled storage units.
With the beach less than two miles away from this location, a 5x10 storage unit is a great way to keep beach blankets, chairs and umbrellas, along with beach toys all packed up together for long days spent out at Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores Beach or Belleaire Beach.
Plenty of apartment and condo complexes are found in Largo, which means there's not always a lot of extra room at home, especially for families who are downsizing. I highly recommend this location the gentleman in the front did an excellent job explaining pricing and other questions I had he was very knowledgeable about everything he made the process experience and excellent one highly recommend everyone go see him if you are looking for the most professional outcome!
Rex is the man. He’s been very helpful even when I was a moron and couldn’t find our unit even though I was standing directly in front of it!
I got the last 5x7 unit in the building (3rd floor) which was comforting because I was storing items from my flooded home.
The manager was very kind and helpful.
The floats increased from 2 to 4 to aid the people also fleeing from Helene.
Hurricane Helene came through the area and We were worried about our belongs at the storage facility- only took one call to the management group on site and they went and checked on the unit. Everything was dry and safe. Excellent communication and service provided during a hard time for all. Thank You!

Rex is amazing! I called about my rate increasing. Rex was quick to request a rate reduction. I knew within 30 seconds that my rate stayed at its current rate for the next 6 months. I have had my unit since 2019. Place is alway clean and well maintained.

I've been using this facility from time to time since it was built probably more than 20 years ago. Had a great experience recently with Rex the property manager. Super nice and accommodating. Facility has been renovated. Always clean. Highly recommended.

So this storage facility was great. It was always clean, never any bugs or rodents, and they kept the bathrooms clean.
They don't get my five-star rating for one reason, and that's the cost of goods. While I understand the economic shift upwards requires all businesses to adjust their prices to account for inflation, it is not a great practice to price gouge your loyal and long time 5 year customers.
I started at a rate of 59.99 with the first month free for a 5x10 unit. When I moved out, the cost of the unit was 167.99 a month for the same space other new customers were paying 60 dollars for and a 10x20 was going for 99.00 for new customers.
So their business model is the longer you have been our customer the more you will have to pay.
So after 5 years I had enough.
Three Stars for clean environment and very helpful staff, but falling short of the mark on the price.

If price gouging and 0% customer service is what you are looking for...then this is your place! Was a loyal customer on auto pay for over 5 years. My rate was increased from $83 per month to $236 over multiple increases. When I called to ask why, I was offered 1 rate reduction. So I got a quote from the competitor next door. $71 for the same sized unit and payed for the year to hold the rate. When I called to see of anything could be done to keep my business, I ended up in the auto queue on the phone as a new customer. Surprise...$99 for my same sized unit. So I went to the office to see if I could simply have that price to keep my business...Nope. so I moved out...early. Did they prorated the final month since they'd be able to rent the space to someone else...Nope again!! Don't waste your money like I did. Go somewhere else as there are SO MANY options.
Dawn was a pleasure to work with and very helpful. Nice location, good pricing and helpful staff. Update: 2-12-2024 Was just back in again to address a billing issue and Rex was great! Got it all sorted out for me in under 5 minutes!

Very Professional staff
Terrible business that overcharges and recently they have a huge rat infestation! And guess what? They aren’t even addressing the issue. Apparently it’s your own fault you don’t have insurance on your storage units. Lunacy
Some people break into my storage and I pay 15 extra for insurance have yet to hear back. I'm pretty sure people live in there as well.
Rex and Chris were fantastic . We deal with people,not websites and both of these fellows helped us above and beyond. Looking forward to working with them and our new space !
Nice safe, clean and easily accessible. Climate control is the best. Parking is paved. Carts are available on the main floor by elevators.
Horrible customer service. Advertising for same size and larger units for a significantly less price while going up $70 on an existing customer that has never been late for a payment or had any issues.. I get the answer supply and demand, well if it was such a supply and demand how are they advertising many other units for a lot less.. absolutely horrible treatment!! Working with the public on an everyday basis I will do my best to spread the word how public storage treats there customers..

Their prices are bait and switch. Expect your price to jump 50% or more after a couple months, even more if they trick you with the “internet price “. Mine nearly doubled. Mine was $265 when i first started (not an introductory price, that was the actual advertised price) it then went up to $455 a few months later despite them still advertising identical adjacent units for $265 still.

Steve is AWESOME!! If only the person I had spoken to a few months ago had told me that they had someone to cut the lock off my unit with the purchases of a lock, it could've saved me a lot of time and money as I'm from out if town. The person I spoke to prior basically told me that I would need to purchase a metal grinder to take the lock off my unit.
So, I called and spoke to Steve today as I was at home depot about to purchase a metal grinder and he informed me that if I damage the door, I would be responsible for damages. That's when he informed me of their service to cut locks off.
I need to return in a week but worth the additional trip. THANK YOU Steve!!!!

I would recommend this specific facility 10/10! Steve is the best and was the representative helping me today, he showed me how to navigate the building, and much more. Also, the app set up on my phone was very easy and user friendly. Would definitely use again for storage needs!
