If you value your items, do not rent here. The property manager is never on site. I have been trying to reach someone all day. Someone changed my lock without my knowledge. I have never missed a payment and now my things are being held hostage. Spoke to multiple people and they said it’s because the property manager doesn’t take care of these location. Also, there are now homeless people LIVING in the units. Do not rent here. I wish someone saved me from this.
The young man who help me out today shame to say .I forgot his name.but he was grate.very helpful and I really appreciate his help

Cannot close it unit due to NO online links to close unit and no one is ever at the facility where the storage unit is located to go inside and manually close the account. This side of public storage shows the true lack of customer service and overall respect for customers that rent storage units.
Update, I give credit were credit is do, property manager called the following day and closed the unit and expressed regret for not being in the office during office hours to handle customer issues. I have renewed faith in public storage for my future excess household needs

She taught me some be careful rules concerning my keys, and lock, when dealing with movers. How to safeguard myself and items. If there is no key back,, no pay.. Don't want to tell all, but everything she told me was correct and for my safety. Tammy, thank you so very much for being so professional, kind courteous, and patient. Never again! I have placed phone calls three days in a row and nobody cares enough to call you back. My rent is automatically debited from my account but they placed their lock over mine denying me access to my unit. I cant get to my own stuff and they don't return phone calls. Nobody is ever in the office! Disappointing and nobody cares!!!
I just wanted to share that Tammy Schwerin is an asset to the Public Storage Co. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Ms. Schwerin made me feel like I mattered and that my concerns were important. Ms. Schwerin would be the reason I would choose Public Storage and even recommend them!

Unfortunately the longer you are a customer the price continues to rise. They now want me to pay double the price from when I originally got the unit. I’ll be moving my things to a more reasonably priced storage company.
My unit was damaged and not usable. I could see into my neighbors unit through the damage in the wall. I'd add a photo but the reviews for this page won't seem to let me. No one was at the property to help at all. The entire 3 hours I was there I could not find a employee or contact anyone that worked there. In order to get a new unit customer service wanted me to jump through several hoops and even drive to another property to sign paperwork to then drive back to another unit. After I was passed to multiple people and 2 hours on the phone I decided to find a different storage company.
Been there 3 years unfortunately can't afford it any more . I will say the manager Richard went out of his way to right a wrong .He is definitely undervalued great guy.

Just your everyday (now a days) "run of the mill", not fancy or spectacular in anyway self storage facility.
The place is even blanetantly called: "Public Self Storage". So you know it's most definitely is what it is all dull orange and such.
But I love it! Not like a husband loves his wife and not even like Christ loves His church...but moreso like how one would love a clean pubic restroom.

I work for the state and with the city of Jacksonville! Whoever was working on 10/03/2023 was not friendly AT ALL! Especially with a person with disabilities! Rude, disrespectful and she needs better training on customer service skills!

The whole experience was so efficient. I was able to secure and pay for my unit over the phone. The attendant was very helpful and polite. She even had my lock waiting for me inside the unit when I got there. I was able to put my stuff inside and make it to my second job on time. Good stuff.

Nice employees but highly recommend going somewhere that has customer friendly policies- charged a full month when I was only in the unit for an extra day (and told over the phone I would be able to get the charge reduced or eliminated as no one was in the day I tried canceling about a month earlier)

The facility is fine. The people are nice. Just watch out, they will raise your rent after you are there. They raised my rent by 100 Dollars! per month! I am guessing that is a standard practice in that industry. So there's that.

I've been storing there for about a year at this location. However recently the gates are being left open and people coming and going without using codes. I even recorded a video of the gates open. I came and went the other day completely unchallenged. So at this point I am seeking an alternative to storing my stuff elsewhere. I'd say if you go there go with this fact in mind. I give this place a poor review because I was told one price and then when I got there the price was significantly greater than I was led to believe that it was before. I had all kinds of fees that were not mentioned prior to my purchase and that’s because my first month was waived and all those other fees were added, but next month when I have to pay full price for the locker none of the other fees are gonna be added so the price is gonna end up being the same regardless of what I’m told it’s gonna be.That is horrible customer service and if my back was not to the wall at the time I would have passed on doing any business at this facility.

I've been at the storage unit for years and then I left and then came back for years so a voice like the management but now it seems like the one that's in charge doesn't want to go out of her way for anything and she's the one that lives on property. I'm very disappointed in her. It seems like she does a very least she has to do to get through the day.

I met Tammy at Public storage and she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and works in a timely fashion. The property is well kept, clean, organized, easy to get in and out and convenient from main road. The deals and prices are affordable and better than any competitors!
