I’ve gotten 2 different storage units 2 separate times and I measured and they are not the size I was paying for (example5x5 was actually 4x4 the first time and second time it was 4x5) I am paying for a 5x5 and when I asked to speak to someone at a higher position both times they never got in contact with me so I would definitely go to another storage place because this one sucks badly

I called a few minutes ago, but the lady who answr my call didn't sound nice or polite to give me a full information regarding my question, I know is Sunday but I am sure she gets paid for working so that is making me change my plans renting an storage there

I applied on line for a medium size, climate controlled storage space. Before I could finish the application, a marvelous, helpful, gentleman called and assisted me in completing the paperwork. He was courteous, pleasant, and kind. I will be going to him with my questions in the future because I feel I can trust hisbanswers.

Imagine my surprise to find Ms. Tammy Schwerin at this location as well. I would like Public Storage to know that she went above and beyond for me, explaining things about your storage facility that I did not understand. Ms. Schwerin has a strong knowledge of what Public Storage has to offer. She is still the reason I would choose Public Storage over the others. DO NOT LOSE HER!

The property manager does not answer or return phone calls. I needed my lock cut and was contacted by the Baymeadows location after having to reach out to customer service agent online to come by and purchase a new lock and sign the release form on last Thursday, 3/21. I was told by the guy there that the lock would be cut on Friday, 3/22. I went to visit my storage unit and the lock had not been cut. I tried calling the property manager and left a voicemail, and then I spoke to an agent on the chat. I was told they would call me on 3/28. No one called me back this morning. I spoke to the agent this morning to report this location. A few minutes later, the Baymeadows location called me and told me they would get in contact with their locksmith. After literally 2 minutes, the person calls back to say they couldn't get in contact with her but surprisingly the district manager Laura Neil said that I have to hire my own locksmith. I called her office 3 times and left one voicemail message and have not received a return call. I should not have to hire my own locksmith after Public Storage stated that they would accomplish this task last week and have not done their job as promised. They literally had a week to get this done. They are aware that I need to move out on time and that today is the only I have available. I did manage to get a refund on the lock I purchased from them on last Thursday. I found out from a local hardware store that I was the 3rd person that week to come in to find a tool to pick the lock and complain about this company. It's safe to say at this point, Public Storage completely lied about the courtesy lock cut service they claim offer. When it comes to moving out they will give you a hard time and the run around. They are ok when trying to move in because they want your money, but when it is time to move out they will give you a hassle. This place will find a way to scam you.

Really bad place to lease! They change your lease in 2-3 months even they told you for 6 months price is not going to increase! Please do not rent here! You will be screwed by them.!

Horrible experience from day one... The units door didn't work properly so the next day they told us to move to a different units. We had to move the items to a new unit but at least the door worked. BUT.... they charged us a changing unit fee, more per month for the new unit and we lost the free 2nd month. We called at least 6 times to get this resolved and each representative at the corporate office said they couldn't do it... It had to be the district manger But we could NEVER get her to respond... LAURA NEEL should not be a manager because she has no customer service skills... We will never use PUBLIC STORAGE AGAIN after this experience

Garbage , trash facility and nobody works here , impossible to talk to live people. AVOID AT ALL COST !!!

I had reservations got a call the office would be shut down at 2 pm the day I was to move in asked to go to baymeadows to complete paperwork needed address tried to call turned in to a disaster went to another storage facility. I will never try to rent here again!!

Tammy has been so helpful and kind helping me through the process of renting a climate controlled storage unit. She went above and beyond to ensure I had a unit close to the gate since my belongings were being delivered via PODS and now the movers will not have to transport my things across the entire facility to pack my storage unit. Absolutely the worst storage facility in Florida. You're better off going anywhere else. No employees on site, lots of theft, and their phone number doesn't even work. But don't worry because if you sign up now your first month is only $1!

Don't every rent here, not only will your stuff get ruined and they will take zero responsibility, but they will also increase your rate every few months. I went from spending $80 to over $200 for an air conditioned unit that leaked on my furniture and destroyed $4,000 worth of furniture. They won't do anything to make it right. Customer service is terrible, directing you in different directions to not take responsibility for anything, you will regret every using Public Storage, I know I do.

My experience at Public Storage has been only positive. Firstly, and most importantly, was the personal help I received from Nadia. I had just moved to Jacksonville from New Jersey and was quite overwhelmed, to say the least. Nadia helped me to secure a unit with patience. She was knowledgeable about every aspect of the process and she was, and continues to be, a pleasure to work with. Reservation was Smooth but I had questions so within 10mins I got a call from Nadia to come into the office to see the space. She was great at finishing the rental and I will be moving in later tonight. Awesome service.

Advertisement is a total scam. They say "first month $1, next month $33. Which is why we specifically drove way too far for this location because after making a reservation, it was only supposed to be $24 the first month (some one time fee despite the $1 ad), which was fine, but then get there and the lady, albeit very polite, fast talks us into some outrageuos price, agrees to break it into two payments, $75 for the first month (some mandatory insurance + who knows what other fees) and somehow now $55 for the next (it's never gone down, stayed at $55)? So much for $25 (originally $1) to move in and $33 for the next months. Don't come here just because they advertise that FALSE quote. Just get whatever you're close to. My brother in law says they did the same thing to him and his family. Many people who need storage units are in emergencies trying to save their stuff on a budget. This type of baiting and gouging is ridiculous. Then the lady (who was at least personable) reminded me 3x to review her on Google so. Here we are. If I hadn't made the reservation ahead of time in a jam I honestly would have walked out. This place is a d*MN scam.

I was in the store yesterday when all this took place and the front desk lady Heather was very professional it was the other dude Juan who came in acting loud and crazy and was yelling rasict slurs for no reason, funny how when people don't get there way they like to go to social media to get something free...cameras never lie rewind them

The worst public storage in the state. The girl in front is the most rude. It insults you and disrespects you. This is a lack of tolerance for the customer should be penalized and public store should do something about it. A lack of respect that they have to treat us like this even as members and paying a membership for their service.
