Used this place for a couple months while staying with a friend in her small apartment waiting for work to finish on a house in the area and had to visit often. I had an indoor unit. All I stored was your typical household goods (clothes, extra bedding, random overflow, furniture), and literally every time I would visit...ROACHES scatter. This location is a complete roach infestation and they bed in your cardboard boxes, clothes, etc... it was a disgusting nightmare, I had to rewash every item. When I brought it up to the office, they dismissed me with "This is Florida, what do you expect?"....I expect you to not have 50 roaches and various other bugs in my damn unit no matter how many times you have to spray....enjoy your 1-star and your roaches...
THEY ALSO REVIEW BEG WHICH IS AGAINST GOOGLE TERMS OF SERVICE.

This place is a mess lately. There never seems to be anyone staffing the location—I’ve called multiple times and left voicemails, but no one ever replies. Tried the live chat too, and it just says they’re closed.
The facility itself is getting worse. It’s been noticeably dirtier, and I’ve seen some questionable activity that really needs to be reported. I’m disappointed with how this place has gone downhill—it used to be much better.

Was absolutely stunned by the professionalism, the kindness and the patience of Miss Pat. There were several months that my girlfriend and I were struggling and Miss Pat was nothing but patient and courteous with us, reminding us and our payment was due and being very patient with us as we came up with the money, also storage was very clean. Other staff was courteous as well. The gates worked perfectly all the time I’ve been at other storage facilities. This is not always the case anytime I called the storage facility and needed to speak with somebody there was somebody there to pick up the phone.Anytime I left a message for MissPatt she called me back promptly in a fast paced cruel current world we live in Miss Pat was a breath of fresh air. Definitely will use this place again.

I recently moved from NYC and needed a place to store my belongings. Public Storage made the entire process smooth from start to finish. I was able to secure a unit that perfectly fit my needs, almost entirely through their remote/online app. The few interactions I had with the receptionist were professional and very helpful. Overall, a great experience!

This facility was hands down, best experienced that my family has ever experienced , when working with a storage unit. The place was very clean and provided a cooling system ,which was awesome. I had a financial issue that needed to be rectified, and when I tell you, Kim did not hesitate to correct the mistake. She was very informative about what the process. This place is well kept and has great lighting for security not to mention right next to a Police station. The place we original we reserved at ended up not having a spot. Kim was so helpful and professional, knowledgeable and EXTREMELY pleasant, which is a rarity these days. She went above and beyond for us and without asking she found a unit easily accessible for me. I'd give more stars if I could that speaks volumes because this is only the 2nd review I've ever given.

Everyone was amazing at this location. I've rented units at Public Storage across Florida for just about 20 years and the Shetter location has been head and shoulders above the rest.
I checked in with a woman who is super sweet and she took good care of me with two units I needed.
A couple days later a gentleman at the location called to follow up on my experience and Kim who checked me out was amazing and super sweet. When I was ready to move into my house two weeks later she was gracious and helped me with a couple bins of trash that I couldn't fit on the truck to take to the dumpster.
Highly recommend the Shetter location ' even if it's out of your way, the customer service experience is much more important.

Mrs. Pat here at Shetter Ave has gone above and beyond for me over the last week or two. My unit is actually at San Pablo Rd. S (and Coleman the manager there is a rock star himself) and she has been very forthcoming with any applicable help with preventing the forfeit of my property due to unexpected unemployment. I am all the way in Colorado and everything I own is stored less the cloths on my back and my dog. They know the importance of all this and gave me every possible opportunity to resolve my payment to the wire. Most places would continuously hound you like you're a dead beat and literally harass you for payment around the clock, but this team, this company acknowledged the issue, helped me find a solution, and gave me every single second of time to make it happen within their capacity while still upholding their company policy. This meant more to me than anything because they treated me like a human first not just another debt account. Mrs. Pat and Coleman (San Pablo Rd. S location) are amazing and I wish them nothing but the best and I hope this review helps them not only thrive in their business but shows them my absolute gratitude for their assistance. Please if you're reading reviews to find a good place to store your items please see this team cares and your items are safe and they'll help as much as they can whereas other places will just sell off what you have without a care in the world.

A+ easiest move in/move out process. A welcome breath of fresh air after dealing with U-Haul for our actual move. Pat in the office is super nice and although we did not need any assistance with anything I’m sure she’d be very helpful if we did. The gate access from your phone is very convenient!!

We've been a returning customer for several years now, and Ms. Pat is usually taking very good care of us, but she was off this past time, and Ms. Kim was extremely friendly, and more than helpful and to take care of our needs!
Kim was super friendly and helpful. I was able to rent the perfect drive-up storage in minutes. Kim helped me download the app and made sure my account was set up for autopay and all the right options! I felt right at home and I'm happy I found the right place! Thanks, Kim!

So far so good. We have a large unit for storage for our business. Quick, easy, cheap, clean. Be aware: Some homeless folks do actually reside in some of the units. We've had no issues so far.
