Rate hike is outrageous! It's over 40% for a total of $178.19. That is $2138.28 for the year. They get you in with an "online deal" then within 3 months they raise the rent. They don't care about loyalty whatsoever.
You call customer service and then then tell you to talk to the managers Tiffany or Katie. Where are they and where are their responses?
I hear clients in the office complaining to Jamie, the office manager(Anita), who is always trying to do her best but she has no authority to help maintain your current rent. A 10% hike is reasonable but not over 40%. What kind of a business practice is this?

The property manager Jamie? All she does is sit in that office and ask people to write reviews and add her name to it, just so she can get a pay out for the month. She pretends to go above and beyond, she pretends to be the one helping you with what she's required to do. That's part of the onboarding process when you're first getting a storage unit at public storages. She doesn't seem to be able to help with anything else but telling you to call customer service when there's an actual problem. Instead of reaching out to her supervisor herself, she gives you the information to do it. Makes me wonder what she does in there because the place is not clean and I can go on naming issues.
Can someone explain to me why my paid for storage space has a lock that prevents me from entering? This is highly UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL. No one can ever get a hold of the representatives at that storage. The property manager Jamie is useless at everything, and will tell you "call customer service" without even thinking. Customer service will send you back to the property manager (Jamie) and there will be a back and forth game. I was told to speak to the district manager Katie, another useless person because I still haven't received my refund for the lock I NEVER HAD TO BUY. THERE IS A LEAK FROM THE CEILING THAT I REPORTED TO THEM THAT STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. I HAVE TO GO IN THERE AFTER WORK EVERYDAY TO EMPTY OUT THE CONTAINER. IF ANY ADDITIONAL DAMAGE IS DONE TO ANY ITEMS IN THAT UNIT THE STORAGE WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING LEGAL ACTION.

This location is a great location, with extremely convenient access. I had a few issues regarding some company policies, however Jaime (Location Manager) customer service was top tier. She would’ve gotten an individual 5 star rating from me. 😁
Jamie, the woman working in the office is the only reason for the five-star rating. I was completely irritated with the PS processes and she helped me navigate, making it easy. Short of that human being in your office, I would have a very different answer.

My family has a unit here and it's one of the worst experiences we've had. Despite paying a monthly bill, a service such as using the restroom, is off limits. I wish they told us this prior to us renting a unit but that tidbit must have conveniently slipped their pitch when selling. The staff will look you directly in your face and say the restroom "doesn't work" and by staff I'm referring to the Trini young lady who manages the desk. I've experienced this 3X. Meanwhile, where does staff use the restroom, they won't say. Go to Cube Smart; they wouldn't dare insult their customers with such poor customer service.
This place is wonderful! The staff is nice especially Maya and Jamie! This place looks very new and doesn’t smell like mold. It smells very nice and new.

The 39 SE 1st Street, Deerfield Beach location has been the cleanest and friendliest one that I have been to till date. Jamie has been the best with customer service. Every question that I have had she has always taken care of me, between asking about the units, changing units and everything about the units she has been the best. I really wish I could give you 0 stars! This has to be the worst storage company we’ve used in our lives. They raise the price as many times as they wish without notice or option, they have tons of hidden monthly fees and on top of that the restrooms are always closed, nobody seems to work here and whoever I’ve seen is lacking everything a customer service person should offer. Also, we are currently paying around $300 dollars and when moving out we had to do the moving with tiny little trolleys since these people had all 3 moving carts locked in the reception…. Cmon guys, I’m already paying more than what I can afford and on top of that I can’t use the restroom, nor the trash can nor a freaking moving cart???? PATHETIC! This place should close down and never open to the public again, totally pathetic. IM LEAVING AND NEVER COMING BACK NEVER RECOMMENDING EITHER

I am a long time customer of public storage and have used this location a few times and Jamie the manager has always been very professional and informative. The location is clean, unlike some that i have been to. I willing definitely recommend this location to friends and family.

I am impressed with the security and cleanliness of the facility. I am unimpressed by the lack of dollies or carts to be used. To only offer 2 (IF YOU ARE LUCKY TO GET ONE) is a joke for almost 5000 storage units. Be weary of price increases after just 1 month of renting. The reviews that rank this place so high- seem to be purchased reviews- as almost all of them are once of reviewers. The business model seems to bet on the fact that you are too lazy to move your unit to cheaper available units, so pricing just automatically increases.

Definitely overcharging current tenants in their units. I have a unit at the rate of over $300 (they just raised it again!) and the same unit is going for $138! Definitely check the rates as they do not care about current business only new business. I will be moving facilities due to the management not able to do anything to help a current paying customer in a financial bind. CHECK THE RATES AND CALL THEM BECAUSE I CAN TELL YOU THEYRE CHARGING LESS THAN YOURE PAYING FOR THE SAME UNIT!

The public storage facility is clean and well organized, if you’re going to leave your items for just a couple of months with certainty it’s a good value, but I’ve had a storage locker for 3 years and they raised the price 300%.
I would not recommend this warehouse unless you know you’re gonna be out within six months.
If you read all the positive and glaring Reviews, they’re all written by people who’ve only written tour. If you were Reviews ever, the reviews for my opinion, our total hoax.

I rented a 10x15 space for $240 dollars and in 3 months they went down to $340 dollars. on the site there is the same space for $280 dollars. But I don't want to stay in that place anymore, they can't be trusted. every 6 months they raise prices as they want. there are a lot of people leaving here. Do not rent space in this place. you will only have a headache.

Locations is clean somewhat, bathrooms are always locked, carts are hit or miss, even if there are none and you want to look around for them, you can't since you are only allowed on the one floor your rental is located on. Bonus is they raise your rent every few months. Price has near doubled in one year. Stay away.

Jamie the General Manager has a pleasant personality, and needs help from corporate on managing the cart situation. It seems as some renters are keeping the carts in their units. So other do not have access to them. I think a system needs to put in place that will track the carts to find out who kept them The facility is clean. In my opinion she keeps her property in good shape.

This afternoon I came to the public storage in the Deerfield location . when I was nicely greeted by Mr. Deiondre , I came to the public stores with no knowledge about sizes or prices, but he was there to guide me and show me examples of different sizes that I may need and he even gave me his suggestions on what I should get, which was very helpful and I was able to get the perfect storage and I left as a happy customer .
My daughter and son in law, went by to open a new account and move in. They were greeted and assisted by the manager on duty, who went above and beyond to assist with all their needs. Excellent customer service.

The good: The 5-star review is single handedly for Jaime: she cares and she gets stuff done in a professional manner. Very refreshing in an industry where often times you barely get the bare minimum service.
The bad: Carts are hard to be found (which I’d think is the case with all locations) due to customers locking it into their unit causing headache to other customers as well as the customer service staff. Corporate should do something about this (AirTag?) and fine people who don’t return carts.
Jaime was very helpful on getting my unit upgraded to a larger one after recognizing the haul I was bringing in. If not it would’ve cause more trips. Highly recommend this store.

This is the worst PS location I’ve ever used and I’ve used plenty in south Fl. They close at 9pm. There are only TWO hand carts on the entire property - TWO! Been here 3 days in a row and have been unable to use one. Not allowed to use the dumpster and there’s NEVER a single person around to ask for help in the office. Blows my mind they’re open. Go elsewhere

Beautiful and clean facility with great access to east Boca. Jaime and Deora were great and answered all my inquires. But it was time for me to move out after 2 years in storage and into a house.
Expensive but well air conditioned and clean with extraordinary security measures in place.
This facility is rather new looking and very nice and clean; however, since it is a public storage unit it is completely bizarre to me that they would only invest in TWO hand-truck/flat-beds for their customers to use. The only 2 available are almost ALWAYS taken by usually a single customer (i.e. 2 people hauling truck loads for long periods of time) so you almost have BYOD (bring your own dolly) OR mule your storage items on your head back and forth; over and over.
So I would give this place 2 stars for the 2 (obviously necessary) carts that they provide their customers. I would update my review to 5 stars if... they add at least 3 more carts to the lobby. Why they choose to not invest this additional $200-300 for their customers is beyond me. So aggravating every time -- regardless of the day or time of day.

Bait and switch once again! I was told last year that our rate would not be increased by more than 10% per year yet for the second year in a row I received a notification that my rate will be going up almost 40% and it's almost impossible to get a hold of anyone to discuss/resolve the issue. It's really unfortunate they take advantage of their costumers this way with no proper explanation other than that their rates are competitive.
Wouldn’t recommend getting a storage unit here. Each time I have been it has been chaos. Minimal parking, I couldn’t find a cart anywhere to bring in my boxes, went to ask the staff member in a gray polo where I could locate an extra cart, and she rudely told me to go find a stranger and ask them. If you’re going to give me a unit on the second floor there is an obvious need for carts. Unfortunately not an enjoyable experience at all.
