Updated review. This place has 5 stars because the front desk lady asks you to do it while she watches.
I am giving 1 star because the 5x10 unit I had had COCKROACHES and TERMITES that ate my bed frame. 80 degree weather inside is the "norm" for storage, which seems too humid because it damaged some clothes and obviously attracted termites. I spoke with the Manager who offered me $100 credit as apology, they only actually gave me $25 and now give the run-around game. Property Manager, Customer Service, all just avoid actually helping you and pretend they have no idea.
Would not book here again. Beware.
Tameka is a dream come true! You Need more employers like her! Even though you raised our rent, she did it with a smile and then she decreased it for us for the next three months! Now that’s what I call Service with a smile :-)

Even though I lost the $29 admin fee, I should have still been refunded the lock. Would not recommend, unfortunately its almost impossible to get in touch with customer service.

Spoke to the district manager and thought all my issues were resolved but after a week since we spoke they are charging me for my unit I have already paid for thru June.I am so tired of calling everyday and getting no help
I asked Belinda to call the DM or give me her number so I can speak to her to resolve this yet was just ignored.
It has been 2 weeks since I finally spoke to the DM and she agreed to honor the reservation I made at 121.50 a month.I just moved in my unit on June 29th and paid my 1st month now it shows my rent went from 121.50 up too 152.00 a month.This is not what was promised.Nobody from customer service will assist as they direct me back to the DM.This is absolutely unacceptable.If your not going to honor the agreement then let me know so you can refund my money and I can go elsewhere.
I received an email saying that my rent was going to increase $40 after only spending 6 months in the storage unit. Though, I called in and spoke with Belinda who was super nice and helped me solve the issue with the rent increase. If anyone has the chance to speak with someone from that office, Belinda is the go to person, thank you!

Nasty management and business practices.
I had a horrible experience at this particular location. I needed to dispute an unauthorized transaction on my account and it was the most frustrating experience I've had to deal with.
Online and over the phone customer service was unhelpful and told me I needed to speak with onsite management. There is no direct number to get in contact with this location and their opening hours conflicted with my work schedule at the time so I was unable to go in person.
I left a review because there was nothing else I could do at the time. When I finally got into contact with management of this Davie location THROUGH another manager at another location I was told that they wouldn't help me unless I removed my review.
I understand the importance of reviews for businesses but that was the most unprofessional approach to the situation and there are less threatening ways to get that done.

Ysamy is the best! I have never rented a storage unit before but she was SO helpful & went above and beyond. I thought I was going to rent a small unit because it would be less expensive but I wound up getting a great deal on a 10x10 which is what I really wanted! She made sure the lock was ready for me, had all the information I needed, answered all my questions, and even made sure my access code worked before she left so I could come back to load my stuff. I recommend going to this location and asking for Ysamy because she really made it so easy!

👎After 6 months the storage price will be adjusted in more than 30%. They will offer for the same price and size one spot at second floor where you need an ladder to climb and access your spot. Climbing stairs with heavy loads isn’t nice or secure.
👎Small load and unload dock for only 2 or 3 cars. You need to wait until one spot is free or make your moving from the parking lot to the storage. With rain or strong sun this will be a really bad times
👎 Some users park their car in the unload dock and forget that there’s more users in need of the spot. The manager can’t help or do nothing about this problem
👎 My spot is under my height so you need to enter tilting your head or you will hit your head on the ceiling
👎 The bathroom it’s a big problem here. Bathroom works but they say it does not work and it is always locked. Worst of all you might see people peeing in the parking lot area because of the lack of availability

Ysamy is one of the best customer service representatives I ever encountered. Before I met her, I was pretty sure I was going to like her, because she was extremely helpful on the telephone. She’s even better in person. She was very efficient, very helpful, but very much wanting to do right for Public Storage as well. Actually, I caused her a lot of extra work, yet she remained friendly and helpful. If she was in charge of everything at Public Storage, I would be a customer forever. I hope her supervisors appreciate what they have in this employee. They should make sure they never never lose her!

This will be our last month and although everyone’s rates went up from the flood Ysami was an assurance that this place is good. She is very helpful and thoughtful with us moving our things out. On 4/3/23, I had a crazy day waiting at the other Public Storage location in Davie awaiting an employee to show up for about 2 hours after seeing the "Yes, we're open sign up" in which I took an Uber ride there, ZERO employees showed up after a 2hr wait, at the last moment I headed over to the Public Storage on State Rd 84 and met the Property Mgr a sweet angel by the name of Tabitha, that was able to serve me with compassion and a smile 5 mins before close. She accepted my printed receipts, scanned them in the system and sent my requests to Regional Mgr after I was informed that I was late on my payment (which I wasn't) as there was a glitch in the system the night before. Proof scanned and sent account issue resolved later that evening.
Tabitha deserves a raise, she is definitely an asset to Public Storage.😆👏🏾 When I came in I overheard her on a call with a customer and she was just soo sweet and professional. This woman should teach a MASTERCLASS on Customer service! 🤗👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
