Excellent storage unit facility in Davie, FL. This Public Storage facility is clean, well kept, air conditioned and well managed. Tammy is the greatest she was very kind and courteous a pleasure to meet her. I ended up having problems losing my lock as I was doing some last-minute storage before heading to the airport, and she quickly helped me to get another just in time. Also, the facility is very safe and secure.
Edit: I have changed my review after being a loyal customer for around 3 years, moving away from South Florida to Atlanta for a year, and now Orlando is going on 6 months. now I had called and let it be known I would be moving out when I got the chance to make it back to South Florida! I was told the policy was that if I was out before or during the grace period, I wouldn't be charged! I tried making it down before the payment due date but was unable to and showed up one day after, in which there's supposedly a 4 or 5 days of a grace period .... after successfully and finally moving my things out, I was told ɓy the front desk that public storage is charging me the full amount! That's just ridiculous!!!! I've dealt with other storage companies, and they will not only not charge you during the grace period but will pro rate the days if you let them know when you will be there! might I add public storage does not! So if you are someone that's local and want to store your things there, you're OK, but if you're storing your things at public storage and moving away, you're better off going with any other company.... also I had a very small unit which I had on promotion for around $30 a month when all was said and done I was paying over $80 a month they increased it like 3 or 4 times while my things were there and I was away and had a hard time getting back ! Anyhow, I'm glad the nightmare is over, and I'm now ready to fight against them, charging me for a whole month 1 day past the due date!

This storage is very clean; it always smell like someone had just cleaned it! It is also very quiet. It is very accessible as it close to a major intersection. The ladies at the desk, Karola and Tiarra, are very friendly and efficient!

I’ve had only good experiences with this public storage, I moved my stuff in a while back and I’ve never had any trouble with other renters or staff everyone there is great! Karola has helped me so much and is so amazing at her job she’s always been able to answer any questions I have and cares so much about making this public storage a great environment for customers! So if anyone is looking for a place to store their things this place is the place to go!!

I was experiencing issues trying to sign up online and register. I decided to stop into the office because I really needed to find a storage unit. I'm so happy I went to this specific location. Please don't change a thing at this place. Especially your live person in-office customer support KAROLA, it was a Sunday, almost closing time, she greeted us with a smile, who does that when in 10 minutes it's time to go? Someone else would of brushed us off. KAROLA patiently walked me through the process she saw that my phone was the problem and guided me to finish my registration online to get the savings advertised. Again, who does that? Super professional. She walked us to our storage unit providing all instructions, we were impressed by how clean it was, I will definitely recommend your location. Moved in that same day. I was renting for the first time and was a little bit apprehensive, but then after I first did the online booking at home and I wanted to come over to the facility to see the actual facility I received a friendly phone call from Karola to ask me if I needed any help in completing the formalities online . I told her that I was on the way to see the facility and she welc9med me at the property and removed all my apprehensions in just 2 minutes. She answered all my questions patiently and guided me very professionally and made the whole process of renting at public storage so smooth. I have been looking at storage spaces in the area, and a few days ago visited this one. As I entered the office, Karola greeted me immediately, and quickly ascertained my interests and needs. She explained rental details and options thoroughly and efficiently, and then offered a brief tour. The pride Karola showed in the facility made it seemed like it was her own. She noted the double gates, the loading area, the security measures, the climate controls and lots of attractive nuances. This is a nice facility, made even nicer by an outstanding manager.

Good morning i had stop by too check out my reservation. Space. First I have to tell you. That I waited 1/2 until someone came by too open the door i got there around 10Am smdh i had asked too used the bathroom I noticed that the bathroom was on unsanitary. I had told the person that was assisting me that the bathroom with filthy she told me I didn’t know that that tells me that she wasn’t going around then i had asked her too please show me the space then I’ll be renting the area outside was also dirty smdh she told me that anyone that put the garbage outside will be fined how can you charge someone for leaving garbage outside when yet you place is filthy so i had decided to leave this is public storage on Orange Drive in davie good luck

Changed from 5 to 3 because whoever the new property manager is, lady with black hair. Attitude reeks. Been leasing here for years and never had a bad experience until recent interaction with that girl. Talking to paying customers like you don’t care how they feel or it’s not a big deal to you because you have “1300 customers” (your words) is deplorable. Some people lack personal skills and don’t belong in managerial roles. Yes a situation might be out of your control but how you convey that and handle it makes the difference. Weird behavior. Glad this is my last day renting here.

Let me begin by sharing that my experience at this facility was easy!
Due in large measure to the staff and in particular a young lady her name is Karola. I Was so touched by her willingness to be of service, always a big warm friendly smile on her face, something that may not be of importance to many but to me it provided a whole world. You see, personally I’ve been dealing with very challenging circumstances and coming in each day to deal with my unit was overwhelming. Karola supported and assisted me in countless ways from providing answers to my questions to guiding me through choosing the best unit to suit my needs. She noticed that I was by myself moving things from a larger to smaller unit and she showed up with a hand truck and helped me move largish pieces of furniture from one unit to the next. It always made me feel safe that I wasn’t the only one in the storage facility as she was close by maintaining the premises always happy and thoughtful
This young lady provided extraordinary customer service in at every opportunity! If you go past 30 days they auction your stuff when I first moved in the storage units on the outside got robbed one year later moving out of storage all of the ones in the picture with plywood have been caught on fire very sad I would never use public storage again

We have been at this public storage for a few years now. Only good things. However, today Carola helped us out and to say she has superb customer service is an understatement. She was attentive and knowledgeable. This storage is. Of near our home and we have plenty of others that are closer but we will continue to rent from this storage because of Carola.

I would like to say at Public storage on orange dr Karola did an amazing job helping pick the right storage. She was very kind and sweet and showed me how to get to my unit and guiding me the. Right way ti fit everything I appreciate her help making my transfer much easier 😊

I don’t know how I feel my monthly bill but their a/c is cold. I was on the first floor with an 7x10 ft. My monthly bill started at $129 a month. After about after 6 months the monthly bill went up to $179. Then at 20 months it jumped to $241.85. There is a lock fee, insurance fee and taxes included in that price. I wasn’t even there a full 2 years. I am moving my stuff out this weekend to say the least.
Guess this is what happens to people that pay their bills on time.

Highly recommend but make sure you speak to someone at the facility first before booking online. I reserved the first storage space online and when I arrived with a fully loaded truck to the SR84 location in Davie, I saw the location would not suit my needs as it would need to be accessed through a ladder. I was highly upset that the online description lacked this very important detail. The manager at the SR84, Davie, FL location was very apologetic and did everything she could to help me. Even though I was fuming, she remained calm and managed to find a nearby location because she didn't have any others available. When I arrived at the new location on Orange Drive in Davie, FL, the manager Karola patiently answered every question and made sure I had everything I needed. Karola even escorted me to the storage unit while filling me in on all the details I needed to know. She was so kind, cheerful and truly made a stressful experience much better than it was supposed to be. I also enjoy the efficiency that the app provides but the excellent customer service experience that the managers provided can't ever be replaced by technology.

Nice and convenient in my neighborhood but your rent goes from $120 per month to almost $400 per month in just 5 years! Between the rent taxes and insurance

Raised Rent twice in one year… The second rate increase was more than 215% increase… Unbelievable the audacity… when I called to ask why, the response I received was that I am still below the market price for the unit I rent…🤬
Dian, the manager has been very helpful. She showed me the place, discussed the policies .gave me their promo. She was courteous and friendly. The unit I got was spacious clean and good cooling system. I could recommend this to my friends.
