Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 6500 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton, FL

Great place to store your excess stuff. I rented 10x15 with easy access pull up out side unit, I had no issues at all few months I was there. Manager on site was always easy to work with.

Jessica the manager is highly knowledgeable and attentive to her customers' needs-- I saw her interact with multiple customers yesterday, along with taking care of my storage unit rental. During these extra tough times, Jessica and her location are my recommendation for those hard hit by the hurricanes.

After being hit by both Helene and Milton, i was able to secure a strorage room via the 1800 #. Unfortunately the site had no power and we wasted gas getting back and forth to st pete, for no reason, during a gas shortage. O stars for that!! Obviously i was pretty pissed by the time it did reopen. Jessica was so nice and patient. It was a mad house but she kept calm, helped everyone with a smile. 5 stars to her!

Unfortunately I don't remember her name, but she was fast and vey efficient.

My storage unit was clean and all ready to go. Renting the unit was quick and efficient.. My only negative comment is that they need a lot more carts. But if you have your own cart, it is smooth sailing!

The young lady Jessica who opened my account at the Manatee Ave Florida location was so helpful. You must be very proud to have her on staff.

So this facility really disappointed me. Hurricane had hit on Friday. People impacted needed storage. Multiple parties trying to access the facility at a time. A nice facility, however, NO ONE was at facility, only ONE of 2 elevators were available. Only ONE dolly available to serve 5-10 customers. And absolutely no human being to call to help alleviate the situation. This is truly total self service with no day of support!

Melissa and Jessica was and has been such an amazing help. Melissa went above and beyond to help get my storage unit. They both always have the best and most upbeat attitude whenever I see them.I gave them 4 stars because when I set up my storage online, I was given a unit that wasn't set up and I couldn't get a hold of the front desk so I had to leave my belongings outside the unit for 2 days. To say I was irritated is an understatement. Also, when the storm hit, my unit along with 2 other units had a lot of flooding which damaged some of my belongings

Jessica couldn’t have been more helpful or taken better care of me. She truly went above and beyond and was a total lifesaver! I am in the process of downsizing from a bigger unit to a smaller unit and I just have to say that I have visited a lot of storage facilities in this area and I love that I have never once seen any indication of roaches or rats or anything else like it at this facility and I am there often going through my stuff and getting rid of as much as I can. It’s always very clean and I have no worries of having an infestation introduced to my home when I bring stuff home from my storage. That’s huge!!!

Very hard to get ahold of property manager to have questions answered. Have to keep changing passwords because it says not correct password. Very frustrating.

Jwon and Jessica went above and beyond to help us find the right space. I had a 32 ft ladder that was hard to fit around corners but they still made it happen! They are lucky to have them working here!!!

Have been using this storage facility for about a year now and never had a single issue. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to the doors with an app so you don't have to put in a code. Also easy payments on the app and affordable.

Why does this place close access so early? I’m not a complaining person, however, I have very important items I need to retrieve out of my unit at this moment before catching a flight in the morning for a work trip. I understand it’s 11:30pm, but no business should be able to hold your property hostage like this. I’m not delinquent in my payments. I just VITALLY NEED THE WORK GEAR I chose to store with this company. I call after hours customer service and they can’t grant access. Why is that? What is the point of it then? Access should be 24 hours, even if I need to call customer service to open it for me, that’s ok. I am literally screwed at the moment and panicking because this is happening right now.

On Sunday visited this storage unit and I want to share that it’s a good location , nice and clean, which is the positive aspect. However, my experience with the staff on a Sunday was disappointing. Despite being an authorized user and the second person on the account, I encountered unnecessary hassle when trying to make a payment on behalf of my mother, who is currently out of the country. The staff member, a Latin lady, refused to assist me, claiming that only my mother could update the billing card information because she is the main person on the account. This policy seemed unreasonable to me, especially since all I wanted to do was make a payment. I hope this review brings attention to the need for more helpful and accommodating staff members. Customers should not face unnecessary obstacles when simply trying to complete a transaction.

This is a great place overall. But dont ever get behind on your payment bc no one is ever there to unlock it after you pay. I've been trying for 2 months. That's $140. No one answers the phone either.

Why have a storage unit if you can never access it??? Call customer service and they said there's a problem with the door which has been going on since 2 days ago and no one can help at the time. Do not bother with this company they do not care

My partner has been calling over and over for two days to try and move up our move in day, but no one ever answers the phone.

Zogisle was extremely helpful and made the process very easy. Really appreciate his help. Would definitely recommend this place.

Janice was friendly and knowledgeable! Had a quick and painless move-in. I would highly recommend this property for people looking for smart prices, ease of use, and climate-controlled spaces.

Beware the price they quote because they bill you fees they don't tell you about on the phone.

I was directed to this facility on the internet. It was brand new, and had nice rates. Ended up completing the lease application online, and was assigned a spot sight unseen. All the instructions were clear, and everything was straightforward. Went to the location, and it was easy to follow the access instructions, and use the app, or assigned code if wanted. Upon entering, there are two freight elevators, and restrooms with the climate-controlled storage located on three different floors. Was able to locate the particular unit easily. More than suitable for my needs. Everything was brand new. I had a few questions about the application, and using the app, so I stopped by the front office on the way out (located outside and around the corner of the building). I met Nelson in here, and he was very friendly, and helpful. He addressed all my questions, and I was more than satisfied with the overall experience. Everything was as expected, leading to a definite recommendation for this location.

I have rented at several Public Storage locations and the 6500 manatee Avenue one is especially nice. The staff if very kind and professional, especially Zogisle! It’s always nice to be greeted pleasantly and to feel like the staff is happy to help. Overall great experience!
