The worst public storage facility I’ve ever seen! Property manager is fully aware & states all his units are like this! I wasn’t shown or told the unit looked or was damage! After taking payment I view & it is not suitable for anyone’s belongings! I requested a refund Sam stated I lost $29 administration fee! So I was ripped off for my money!

Customer service at this location is hit or miss. Everytime I speak to a male, I’m met with some form of irritation. I called and apologized for moving out, without doing an inspection. My husband didn’t take the lock off. We were billed for another month, understandable. I called this morning to apologize and let them know there’s nothing in the actual storage and I will be up there when I can to fully close the account. Tony either didn’t hear me well, due to his response. Instead of saying, “oh ok there’s nothing in there, do you have an idea when you can come by to close your account?”. Tony proceeded to state theres another lock on the storage and my “items” will be up for auction. I was confused, because I’d already moved out. I just needed to finalize my final bill and be done. He laughed and said I was funny, in regards to my confusion. The situation was easy and simple. Don’t call the office directly, call the 1-800# and you’ll be better off.
Team at the facility was great! Sam and Kit were extremely informative and helped me source a unit that fit my needs. Great service and thank you!

The only downside is I can't access this unit 24/7
This location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced ANYWHERE. When we got this unit last December, I made it aware that two other people were allowed to have permission to access the unit at any time because I live out of state. In August we started having issues when one of those people were denied permission. When I reached out to the customer service number that this location gave me, I never received a response, and was denied any contact with upper management. Two days ago I called this location to let them know that those other people that were on the account were coming today to move out. I was given an email address by a representative at this location to send written permission to. The email didn’t work and they wouldn’t accept a copy of the email that I sent to customer service. When my family got there today to empty the unit, it took them 6 hours, a call to the police, and for me to go to a location near me to allow them access.

Very disturbed to go into my unit to find the burnt ceiling shedding all over my personal belongings. Hole in the wall is still not fixed. I asked for a new unit and the office said all units have the ceiling like this. Now i have to go in and clean this hazardous mess, knowing its going to continue to pollute my belongings. Mind you they raised my rent $20 per month. Unbelievable.

My experience was great. I came in to replace the lock on my storage unit and i was greeted by sue as soon as i walked in the door. Sue was very nice and promptly assisted me with everything i needed.

The service staff were wonderful and very helpful when I was applying for a rental and when I moved out. My issue was the cockroaches that came into my unit and made it into my mattress. I had no food in my unit but still I found multiple cockroaches when I removed all of my belongings. If you rent a unit here, be sure to buy cockroach traps so.

Can’t count on this place to keep your furniture safe. After believing that my furniture would be safe I was wrong! my couch and TV stand were ruined with mold and after a water leak, for them to let me know that they checked the room and there wasn’t a leak, what am I now? A lier? just awesome! After a month and half to let me know they can’t do anything about my ruined furniture. After wasting my time and MONEY. I don’t recommend this Public Storage at all.

Just recently got a unit. It was a 5x5 honestly it was a bit bigger than expected so I was happy about that. The staff Alexis was so super nice she was amazingly helpful and very friendly I am happy I chose this as my storage facility. I really love that it is so protected as well. I feel like my things are safe here.
I have been with the Altamonte Public storage for some time now and Josie and Alexis have been a tremendous help from the very beginning. They have always assisted me with helpful information, resources, great hospitality and treat my matters with care. A pay raise is definitely deserved! They make public storage look GREAT and show that they stand by the companies mission statement, which is truly appreciated by the customer (me).

do yourself a favor and don’t ever rent a storage unit from this location I rented a unit for 3months and when i returned to retrieve our items we found massive amount of roaches in all our boxes and belongings. all our funiture was stained yellow because of the ceiling falling down. we had to throw out most of all our stuff. when i went to the office i was told to file a claim with orange door insurance that i had to pay extra for. and dealing with the insurance company that was a big waste of time and they will find away to not pay you. I sent a message to the district manager on his voicemail and never received a return call. so that was a waste of time. the people that is running this place don’t care at about there customers. Please don’t waste your time with this company

I am a repeating customer of Public Storage but this was my first experience at the Altamonte Dr location. Linda was present at the desk with a smile and directed me to upgrade my unit due to the lack of space from the one I purchased online. Her insight and expertise saved me so much trouble; a great customer service experience.
We had a great experience in renting a unit for storage in this location. The staff was very helpful and guided us to the whole process of showing us the space then how to use the access code.
I would come here again because they treated me and my mother well in a very respectful manner.
When I moved back in my family along with my own children. This was the location I found. They have been exceptional when it comes to customer service and many other things.
