Been renting a unit here for over 2 years. All storage places have their problems but I’ve hardly had any here during my time. Me and my girlfriend are moving for the first time ever and we’re having a hard time finding a storage space that can accommodate all our needs. Hailey took her time explaining everything we had questions about and was very helpful and accommodating in our time of need!!!
I dont have any complaints about the manager or cleanliness. The way the building was built is another story. The elevator and all interior doors cannot be accessed using your phone access which is one of the major advertising highlights of public storage and the placement of them is terrible.Theres not that much space around the building to park. Theres one way to get into the storage area and you have to drive 170 degrees around to get to it.

The worst experience ever. Booked the unit to start rent on 7/13/2024, was automatically charged for the lock which was supposedly placed inside the sealed unit. Drove 20 hours from Ohio to Colorado, arrived at 8 pm, had friends come over to help unload the car, property opened till 9 pm only. Surprise-no lock inside the unit and lease office is obviously closed at 8 pm! Called customer service at 800 number was told it takes 48 hours to process request for a padlock... Had to find another place to rent and unload the car, was exhausting to deal with all that after 20-hour drive and I did not want to leave loaded car parked on a street.
Poor management, the property manager has never called me back, I called multiple times during business hours- no answer, left vmail- no call back, it's been several days since then. Still waiting for a refund, had to file a complaint with the corporate office to get full refund... interestingly enough- the refund for the padlock which they never gave me was issued the next day, not the rent though, still waiting...they argued they can't refund $29 admin fee and this can only be discussed with property manager who is not picking up phone and not calling back....I will be taking it up to BBB if I do not receive full refund within 7 days.

Elena was wonderful. She helped me find the perfect spot for my storage unit. She was juggling everything herself and still kept it very professional. Also, the building is clean and each unit has a ceiling fence that protects the unit from being broken into. Would recommend to anyone needing extra storage space!
If you want your stuff stolen by employees of public storage this is the place to go, if you want corporate to deny any evidence you present to them and have low level IQ employees lie and change their stories about the their process on anything they do.
Public storage will do anything and everything to deny claims of employees having access to your unit, even after pictures are taken. The only way to hold them accountable is by taking them to court, issuing a subpoena for CCTV footage and employee logs.
Just know that the employee responsible for the theft has been involved in a hit and run and is being investigated, public storage needs to be held accountable for their negligence and false advertising of security measures, those security measures are for them and not the customers.
Join the class action lawsuit and seek financial compensation for your loss, the $5,000 is barely enough to cover the smallest amount of loss property.
This place is great! I needed to rent a storage unit for a month while I am between houses. Luckily, Public Storage had a location close to home. I was having some difficulty getting everything set up online, but they were proactive in reaching out to help. I spoke with Zedrick and he was able to walk me through the process. The location was great, the service was great, and the price was less than I was expecting. Overall it was an easy process with great customer service and reasonable pricing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Elena at the front desk is the nicest, most helpful person I've ever had to help me. Elena keeps the atmosphere friendly and safe.
This place is terrible. If you're trying to get a unit to rent good luck! According to customer service this place SHOULD have onsite management but based on what other people have said there isn't one. I came here to clear out a few units I won in auction and never got in because the manager was nowhere to be found.

Worst storage facility I have ever used. I have now had to yell at homeless people to get out of the units as they are living there. I have seen them smoking meth/crack a few times now and has a constant cooked meth smell in the entire facility. Can't get out fast enough!! BE CAREFUL HERE!! Or RUN!!!!!

This facility is kept clean and Zedrick is very helpful. Zedrick is definitely customer service oriented and takes pride in his work. He helped us lease a convenient smaller unit while also helping us secure a good rate. Public Storage corporate seems greedy and inflexible and I was really ready to leave until I met Zedrick and he helped me get what I needed at a fair price.
I needed to move to a smaller unit, and it was painless due to the site manager Sedrick. He handled our situation professionally and always returned our calls. Great customer service.

Wish I would've looked around at other near by storage facilities. They literally have 2 maybe 3 carts for the entire building and on days where there isn't even any one there it's nearly impossible to find a cart. If you see more than 2 cars in the loading zones be prepared to wait hours until a cart is available. Storquest had like 10 carts available all the time. This is such an inconvenience.
In and out, No holdups. I like how you keep the place so clean and there's not a bunch of tweakers running around looking in your storage units or trying to break in. So thank you and keep up the good work

Rates went up without notice, there was never a dolly around when we needed one, cleared out the storage unit, and went to the office to let them know, the guy said he would take care of it and we are still getting billed for our storage unit. Too expensive, and nobody's around when you need them or have a question. I do not recommend this place at all!

The people who work here are very nice!
Within a year they almost doubled our rent. They sell you on a low rate and "say it could go up, but don't worry you can call and negotiate it down" it's a lie. They might lower it one month for you and the very next month it goes back up and wait there's more you can only get it lowered once. After that they will deny your request and say it's due to the "market" while they advertise the same size unit half the price with a free month to move in but it's "the market". Not to mention the homeless people living in units and other things that have made it an unsafe place to store your things. Avoid! Unless you want to be charged almost 400 for a storage unit!!!

I made a reservation online and confirmed it. The instructions were to bring ID and pay at the location. The hours are Sunday from 9:30am-5:30pm. I arrived and no one was in the office. I called customer service and they told me that I’d need to complete my reservation using a computer or go to a different location to pay. I don’t recommend this location for an easy experience.
Decent storage option, but I just received a notice that my unit is increasing in price by nearly $100. That’s robbery. I’m liquidating and taking my business elsewhere.
This place is a joke and 100% crooked thieves. The facility itself is clean and nice but whatever price you signed for on the lease doesn't mean anything. They raise the amount and will not inform you and it isn't negotiable. My monthly rate was $130 a month and was raised to $175 2 months later and then raised to $206 a month now and not once was I contacted or agreed to this rip off. If you don't pay by the 2nd you get a $25 late fee. This place is shady and the worst business practices and management I've ever seen and they are getting away with lying and false advertising. Go any place else and hope this place goes out of business.

Worse storage please ever my belongings got bed bugs from only being in there for 2 months and on top of that when I removed all my belongings from the storage they charged my card and took over 3 to return the money

Storage can be very challenging. I had a lot of struggles during the time I was in my storage unit not only with personal matters and financial strains but also at times keeping up with the costs. Certain events that became stressful nonetheless ended up resolved. Again saying the whole process can be difficult. The corporation Public Storage has built doesn’t exactly help. It puts extreme and unnecessary pressure on its clients and also its staff
If I was rating the company I would no doubt be placing a single star but it’s the current employees, over worked over used over stressed, that end up feeling the pressure. Eli and Elena specifically, always went above and beyond time and time again to make the experience as better THEY ARE THE REASON FOR THE 4 star rather than one.
Stop adding fees start answering the phone when we try to make a payment and make certain there is ALWAYS enough staff on hand (at least two people) that they can at least do the tasks asked of them! It’s abusive to expect otherwise.

When I started renting 4/2021 it was an amazing experience the lady in the office (Angela or Amanda-sorry don’t exactly remember her name) was amazing!! There were always carts available, bathrooms always clean and stocked, and didn’t have to struggle to find someone…
BUT NOW…
There is never anyone in the office, I’ve been calling like 3 days straight and left a voicemail and nothing. They would take your ID for a cart and disappear… there was a lady-didn’t catch her name who would say very loudly- I’m just so frustrated right now and give so much attitude. Bathroom is always locked and if you ever find a employee to open it it’s never stocked.. it’s a hassle to find carts because they have them locked away and employees are never around… and then they charge extreme fees for ridiculous reasons because you can’t get ahold of anyone to discuss anything…
$500 for abandoning property when my unit was paid for 12 days ago???? Hmmm…..
So far worst storage I have ever used…

There is never anyone at the front desk during business hours, which makes it hard to get a cart, purchase supplies or pay your bill. elena is rude and crabby always with a bad attitude she puts her number on the door when she's not in the office and then she gets mad when you call it tired of not being treated like I am not a paying customer. Considering renting a 10by 10 somewhere else because obviously she/public storage doesn't want my business.
Edit: Elena has 100% changed her attitude and has been very friendly, courteous, and professional. She is doing the job of what seems should be multiple people so I can understand that she was just stressed out before.

My name is Joe and a friend ( Mr. Bordeaux )of mine had to store some of his stuff at this public storage. There is a woman named Elena working here and she is amazing. She was mopping the elevator when we came in and the front area of the elevator. I can tell she keeps this place extremely clean and is very kind and knowledgeable. She helped us by making it easier for us to get our stuff in in a timely manner.

EDIT: Anthony, the property manager, spoke to us to explain that management has recently changed and they are taking actions to improve customer service and the logistical issues this storage location has had in the past. We appreciate him taking the time to call us directly to explain these changes. We are optimistic that things will improve for the better with Daniel, the onsite manager, in charge.

There's always a problem.
I come to check on my belongings once a month and there's always an issue.
One of the outer sliding glass door is always broken, particularly the one facing South.
They have now added a new security door on the lower level (good because there have been a lot of burglaries) and the one facing West does not unlock after entering the code.
So, I could enter the outer door on the West side but not the inner door. They were repairing the South door and I had to wait 20 minutes to enter and go through the new brown door that did work on that side.
In the meantime, there was no one answering the phone, the office was closed (it always is on weekdays) and not even a note left to know when we could expect to speak to someone. The person who was repairing the door also said he tried to contact the office and no one answered.
It's a great location and storage units are big and new, but logistically, this place is a mess.
We no longer have trollies because people stole them, they asked to go by the office to pick one with an ID, but since the office is always closed, prepare to move your stuff on your own, even if it's heavy.
I hope they improve these managerial and maintenance issues for good soon.

599 Federal location was great experience. 1st visit and both employees provided extra help, walking me to unit, recognized my difficulty on a walker and provided extra customer service to me to make my user-experience so much better!
The person at the counter was fantastic and really helped us problem solve so we got the best deal possible. Made us feel welcomed.
Elena was the best help for me in my transition of moving and the service was excellent
