Previously & concurrently, I used a couple other Public Storage facilities as well, and this one is by far the best. This Public storage has been a blessing thanks largely to Corrie . After some major damage to my home in an un expected weather accuracy . I need a place keep some work equipment and tools location is perfect being next to 285 i was helped by a very nice woman by the name Corrie I believe she helped me find the perfect size unit and assistanced. Me with the app so I can bow use my phone to engage the gate fir much easier access. Thanks Corrie

I had a very disappointing experience at Public Storage on Friday, September 6th, in the evening. As I walked into the office and politely greeted the employee, saying "hello, how are you doing?" I was met with an unexpectedly rude response. The gentleman working there simply said, "The office is appointment only, so if no one's in the office, we can't see you." I was confused because someone was clearly in the office when I walked in. I don’t understand why I was told that no one would be able to assist me if no one's in the office – when the issue was that someone *was* there and yet treated me as if my presence didn’t matter. The lack of professionalism and courtesy made me feel unwelcome. I hope this issue is addressed so that other customers don’t have to face such unpleasant encounters. If Corrie was there I'm sure the experience would have went much differently. Here's a revised version of your review based on your experience: --- I’m beyond frustrated with my experience at Public Storage on Hampden Avenue, and specifically with the same employee who seems to be going out of his way to harass me. Less than a week after my last unpleasant encounter with this gentleman, where he was extremely rude and unprofessional in the office, he approached me again—this time to tell me that I couldn’t do mechanic work on my RV. All I was doing was installing lights I took out of my unit. It was a simple plug-and-play job, no tools involved, just some zip ties. I don’t understand why this man seems to have it out for me. The first time, he was rude for no reason, telling me that the office was “appointment only” even though he was inside helping someone else. Now, he's seeking me out to complain about something completely innocent. I genuinely feel like I’m being targeted by this person, and it's upsetting that I can’t even feel comfortable using my storage unit without being harassed. It’s gotten to the point where I’m seriously considering moving to a different storage facility. It’s sad and even laughable that I have to deal with an employee bullying me at a storage facility. I hope management looks into this because no one should have to go through this kind of treatment. If this keeps up, I won’t hesitate to leave, and I’ll definitely be posting more reviews to let people know what kind of service they might encounter here. I feel like I am being harassed now.

Corrie was so wonderful today! I was all over the place and she helped me get situated while multitasking and helping her fellow employees at other locations. She was a gem to work with.

A whole mess, I paid for two months without having used the space, the first was because when it was time to vacate I left a small box and they deduced that I was still there, so the next month I vacated completely but I still have a pending payment😡

Unfortunately I cannot recommend enough that you do everything in your power to not store your stuff here. That is, unless you would like to get stuck with a 2nd floor storage unit and an elevator that hasn't worked the entire time I've been assigned to this unit. Oh, and there's no stairwell inside, so you have to pray that the exterior stairwell is propped open with a rock. If it's not? Well, there's no one in the office, so you'll just have to drive all of your stuff back home again. DO. NOT. STORE YOUR STUFF HERE. But hey, if you do get lucky and can access your storage unit, it's a perfectly serviceable rectangular box, so. That's good.

Continuously raising prices on the unit, I originally got it for $175/month and am now paying $516. I've tried lowering the payments and it only lasts 3 months at a time. This is how you treat long term tenants? Ridiculous.

I Reserved a unit online for 2-1-24 move in. I got several calls from them to make sure I would get there to do paperwork and PAY! Went today 2-2-2024 more than an hour before closing time to get everything set up and pay the rental and when my daughter and I walked in the door Elana said "so what can I NOT do for you today"! How rude can you get! I told her I that I had reserved a unit and was there to do papers. She proceeded to tell me she was headed out and would be leaving soon and I didn't have an appointment. She had actually been the one to call me the day before and said "just come by tomorrow, I'll be here from 1:30 to 6! She then proceeded to tell me just do everything online! That's how you need to do it anyway! She never looked up from her computer and established I was even there. The only reason they get a one Star is because you have to give that in order to do a review!

My husband and I needed short term storage between homes. Lu, the manager, was most helpful in giving us the best deal for our needs. There were no issues when we terminated our contract. If I need storage in the future, I would definitely come back to this facility. Lu does a great job helping her customers.

I would like to rave about Lu at Public Storage located at 10201 W Hampden Ave and the customer service provided by the Corporate Office. Recently I had an issue and she worked with the Corporate Office to provide a solution within 24 hours. Not only did they solve it, they did so with true compassion. I am beyond grateful. I have been a client since 2020 and will say that is a great location to work with!

I hate renting from this storage everytime I go in to pay my bill there is either nobody ever there to help me out or the lady is VERY RUDE. & then I try to pay over the phone & i was charged an additional $20 this storage place is a joke I highly recommend not renting here

Used this location for 14 months to store staging items and it was perfect! Lu and the entire staff were always knowledgeable and friendly. The unit was very clean and the entire complex is well maintained and secure. I was at my unit at least once a week and Lu or other employees were on site monitoring the property.

The storage units here are perfectly fine. Very cheesy locks but they do work. The people that work here are at first fairly nice but when you need something and help or customer service they’re not very customer oriented. To use a trolley you have to leave your license with them. That makes total sense! However when I tried to leave and go get my wallet back, no one was there at the office and I had to wait a full 30 minutes for them to return and in fact I had to go find them because they were running around in their golf cart quite frankly doing nothing. So I was held hostage to get my drivers license back. Extremely poor customer service and when I challenged them on that they were very rude not an ounce of compassion for the concern that I had. If possible I would not use this organization ever again. And I would council others to try to avoid public storage if at all possible.

Great storage facility, very well kept and maintained. The staff here is very friendly and professional, and I’ve rented a few storage lockers here on different occasions and each time they always try to get me the best price for the size of storage I need. Solid and trustworthy, I’d recommend this place to anyone.
