I was honestly going into this place a bit nervous because I’ve never dealt with storage units before, and was hoping I wasn’t going to get taken advantage of and ripped off because of my ignorance and abrupt situation. I want to give Jeff a huge shout out at the Evans location for really just explaining everything to me and huge help with getting me a better price than I was expecting! Definitely made my month a lot less stressful. Also, shout out to Kenny at the other Evans location! When I called, he had great over the phone customer service and was the one that invited me to come to the office in person so he could help me further. (I accidentally showed up to the wrong location not knowing there were two storage places on Evans) So Kenny, if you see this, I’m sorry and also thank you. Very helpful experience overall you guys.

Stopped in here today after being out of town for work for a month. I had some questions and concerns, especially the billing part about my storage unit that I currently share with a past roommate.

Let's see, I moved out before the end of the month, and this company tried to charge me for the following month, and the charge was $56.73 I call customer service, the first guy I talked to reversed the charge and said he closed my account, the following day I received a jotice that they charged my account again and that put my bank account in overdraft. So I called customer service once again and that time the lady told me that she wouldn't refund my money and I had to pay, so I refused and filed a claim with my bank who advised me to call them back and demand my card be taken off file. I was told that it had been done by the lady on the phone. Not true, 2 days later, i received another notification that they charged my card again. So I called the customer service once again and was told that I had to pay and that they had closed my account. So I filed another claim with my bank. And I'm now waiting to hear from my bank. Be aware that this company will lie and steal from you.
I was having a terrible day yesterday and to top it off I lost my storage keys. I asked the manager if she could assist me, she kindly empathetically explained I would have to call a lock smith. I was pissed but she helped find one that wasn’t very expensive and was pretty fast at getting there or it seemed that way because while I waited so did Jennifer and she really seemed to care offered me water and made me laugh I got in my storage and forgot all about my horrible day. Thanks Jennifer you are amazingly kind the customer service world needs more people like you. True gem..
I’m confused I got a storage unit told I can move in, been here for hours trying to get ahold of someone to unlock the lock they have on it and yet no one has been here all day. Been here since 1pm currently 3pm
Friendly and helpful staff. Easy move in and move out. I always felt my stuff was very safe.
As of now, we are trying to move in but we had an appointment last night and no one was on property. We then try to go this morning and still no one there to give us access to our unit on move in day. In the process of trying to get our unit accessible. Everyone online is very helpful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

So my first encounter today at 3 PM, two hours before they close was already terrible. There’s two cars parked there, but nobody was in the office and it was locked and I had to do everything online in the parking lot. He gave me my receipt with a code to get in, but on my way out it refreshed the page and I lost my code. Then it wouldn’t allow me to log into the app or online either so I couldn’t get out.
I repeat I couldn’t get out!!!!
I couldn’t get out for 15 to 20 minutes. I knocked on the door to what looks like an apartment, the dogs were barking, but nobody answered.
I was about to get a rational until somebody coming in. Let me out. If you close at five, they should be somebody there until five. Get it together.
Kenny, from the 4101 location, helped my mother-in law and I get our new unit situated. He was very patient, understanding, articulate, and most importantly helpful!

My storage unit started at $52 a month and after several years of perfect payments it’s now $148. I called to have it reduced because the current unit I am in is listed for $68 on their website and my request was denied. My rate doesn’t seem to have a ceiling so there is no choice but to leave because in another year or two it will be over $200 a month. It’s ludicrous.
Brittany the Property Manager was absolutely amazing!! Best experience @ Public Storage so far.. Moved out from a Public Storage location I rented for 4yrs to the Evans Street location..Best decision ever!!

All…update on my review. Changed my rating down to 2-stars.
Be very careful when you see the very low online sales price for a new unit. I accepted the online sales price of $192 for a large unit. Only 4-months after I moved in, I received a notification that the rent would increase. I’d only occupied the unit for 4 months! I complained about the deceptive sales promotion and received a 6-month “discount” to remain at the lower online sales price. After the 6-month period had expired, I received a reminder email about my upcoming rental payment. The price had increased without any notification of the increase. As per the lease agreement, Public Storage must give a 30-day notice prior to the increase which I never received. When I asked the District Manager David Buck to honor the leasing agreement and delay the increase & send the 30-day notification, his answer was I already received a notice when I received the 6-month discount and Public will not be sending another notice despite having this condition in section 2.2 of the lease agreement. The District Manager certainly did not do a good job of providing good customer service, which has been my experience with Public for the many years I’ve been a customer. And don’t try calling the 800 customer service #. They are certainly no help!
Also keep in mind, your lease agreement with Public is on a monthly basis therefore, they have the right to increase your rate at any time. Manager Jae indicated that Public increase the rental rate every 6-months so, that online rental rate may look very attractive in the beginning however, within a very short period of time, your rate will increase several times and you will be paying the market value of your storage unit.
Be cautious before you sign your agreement with Public! Very deceptive practices!

I have had to use different storage places throughout moving around a bunch and this one hands down has had the best customer service experience I've ever had. Shannon always helps me with whatever I need and keeps the place well kept. It nice to be treated not like just another person using their facility.
Shannon provided great service and helped entertain our two kids at the same time! We were in and out with our reservation and virtual paperwork within 20 minutes.
I have multiple units here and Shannon is always so helpful and kind. She is great at customer service and you can tell she loves her job as she takes pride in everything she does here at this property. I see here outside cleaning all the time. I came into the office again because I was having an issue with our door not closing right. I was so glad to see that Shannon was there again. Like last time she did not disappoint with her kindness, urgency to help and stellar customer service skills. She took care of the issue right away and fixed it with some stuff she had on hand. We were in and out all afternoon and I have never seen someone work so hard as that manager does. She was cleaning outside each time we drove by as well as dangerously by the road. We will continue to recommend to friends and family. Thank you Public Storage for having such a great manager. Once again deserves 100 stars.

avoid- 25 units broken into in january- mine included- the insurance is a joke- this is the second time in as many months.
I was disappointed when no manager was at the location for my reservation, but soon after I left Jenapher called from another location and was sorry for the inconvenience but could be there shortly to rent the unit. I was glad I didn't go far and she was there when I went back. Jenapher was very nice and professional and I was able to get my stuff stored. Thank you Jenapher for helping me so quickly.

Realized I needed a storage unit..so I reserved a unit online a couple days later, then confirmed wStacy the Mgr who was friendly and helpful. I paid for my rental unit and moved in the next day. If you have questions, the staff will do their best to help you. I was glad I stopped by there.
