So we had to switch storage like 3 times been waiting for my refund since July and I still haven't received a check every time I call they say the check Is in the mail.. Do not waste your time on this public storage. They play with yout time

I had a unit here for about 3 years and the experience was great throughout. The property is clean and well-maintained, and the staff I interacted with were always friendly and helpful.
***** ( UPDATE )***** STAY FAR , FAR , AWAY !!! FIRST OF ALL , after renting the unit 2-3 months and never putting a box in the unit. I had called and left a message that i would be pulling my locks that day ! ( morning of the first ) a Gentlemen returned my call i conveyed the same to him and i was returning the unit. And he said thats fine as long as the locks are off of the unit by the days end , just stop by the office which i did and the door was locked i called and got the Public Storage speel ( recording ) IT SHOULD BE FORWARDED TO THEIR CELL OR A MOBILE PHONE TO THE PROPERTY !! ) at which point my gate code worked i entered and removed my locks on the property for 🤔 Maybe 5 FK'ING MINUTES AND THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME ANOTHER MONTHS RENT . I WAS NEVER TOLD ABOUT USING THE GATE OR ENTERING THE PROPERTY THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED , HE SURE AS FK. DIDNT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THAT WHEN WE SPOKE TWO HOURS EARLIER !!! WHAT A BUNCH OF CROOKS TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!

As others have stated, the people here are what make the difference. Patricia was a delight to work with! For how big this site is, I was surprised to see they didn't have a golfcart for the staff to get around in. They're certainly deserving of one!

She made transferring to a larger unit very easy. Hassle free. Her organizing and giving us a tour was great. The facility itself is very good and clean. Update… wanted to downsize my storage and once again Ali, Lorraine, and Trish were super helpful to make the transition easy. This staff is by far the best I have dealt with at a storage facility. I was in the military for 20 years and became very familiar with using storage facilities all over the US. This is by far the easiest facility to work with.
My unit was broke into and vandalized wouldn't use this facility ever if you want to keep your stuff. Mouse poop everywhere in the unit very disappointed. I beleive it was a inside break in on my unit and that sucks.
I had questions about my storage unit and Ali was extremely helpful and friendly! Best storage facility I have used so far!

One such person is Patricia or Trish, as she goes by. She is always professional and personable ... just simply gets, the job done. Whatever your concerns or needs are, she always gives her best to be as effective at resolving them to the best of her ability, in as timely a manner as possible. This is priceless to me ... I don't have a worry about my property in any way. Suffice it to say, in these times, you can't say that about a lot of platforms. Work ethic and dedication to a thing are rare commodities these days; but, clearly present and in full effect at this property thanks to Trish. Straight forward storage, but no cigar. Only one bathroom and it is usually closed.
They have TRIPLED my price over the course of a couple years.
Just rented a unit here, the location seems to be very clean and when I've needed assistance with something, I've gotten it very quickly. Had a small issue with the lock, but one of the ladies came down and helped me get it opened. My only thing is that if you need a cart, you have to go to the main office to get it. My unit is somewhat in the middle of the property and it was a little jaunt to go get it. I've only rented a storage space on one other occasion, and it was an outdoor unit that I could drive right up to so I didn't need a dolly. Anyway, so far so good, I would recommend this facility to friends / family if they were looking for storage space.

My storage unit was broken into here. My things were stolen and everything else trashed. I was provided with info from one person that works here and provided with other info by others who work here. The information provided was conflicting and extremely suspicious. Management here has done nearly nothing. They have cameras but seem to not use them or their cameras are broken. They also haven’t provided me or the police with any info. And many other units were broken into here at the same time. They didn’t notify the police of a break in, also very suspicious. This place is horrible and not a secure location or facility for your things.

Update: management has been helpful with the police investigation. And they made my move out as easy as possible.
- on another note while moving out I noticed my things that weren’t stolen had a lot of mouse poop and pee all over. And other damaged things from the mice chewing on my things. Very disappointing storage experience, in fact the worst I’ve had.

Only stored things for a couple months during a move transition. Easy stay. Never had a problem with the gate or having access to my unit. Very helpful staff. I remember checkin was easy. The gate can only be opened from early morning to around 9 every night, but I didn't have a problem with it. I rented a 5 by 7.5 and was able to fit a queen bed and frame in it along with maybe 25 other boxes.
Ali was very friendly when I went to check out. Made the process a lot easier. Was nice to see such a friendly and easy going guy be so helpful. If you need help or have questions, he seems very knowledgeable and great to talk to.

I’m sitting outside this public storage as I have for the past 30 min, calling the property manager’s phone over and over again. No response. I paid for a storage unit on Friday, it is now Sunday and I haven’t gotten access to my unit because the latch on the garage door is jammed. The gentleman I talked to on Friday said he would either fix the jam or put me in another unit. Neither has been done and it is Sunday. I’ve paid for both the storage AND my Uhaul for 3 days and my uhaul is jus sitting in front of my house loaded cause I have no where to put the stuff. I was supposed to have everything moved out on Friday but I have no where to store it. This is such an inconvenience and whoever this PATRICIA is that everyone else is raving about in their review-I should’ve gotten her. Cause this man has no regard for my business, my experience or the costs he has burdened me with by not getting me taken care of.
Let me tell you about the 5star treatment I received here at public storage 45th st. Ms Patricia was absolutely amazing offering my children water and snacks while offering a amazing price and hospitality. No other storage company was this amazing.

I chose this location because at the time I used to work at the SFO Airport and and it would be perfect to just be able to get to this location and just check on my belongings in my storage unit. Now that I’ve moved out of state even though I’m still a resident of California I still have some items there, which I don’t mind storing until further notice, but it’s just convenient it’s very convenient especially if you’re flying in to SFO Airport and you just wanna go check on your stuff or not even you know you don’t even have to pay your bill in person you can do it online which I like about Public Storage everything is automated, but the manager there she’s really nice. Her name is Lee.
I chose 5 Stars but I really give the gentleman who helped with my questions and rental experience 10 Stars! He was very professional and very informative. You are very lucky to have him as part of your team.

I would like to give a shout out to Jessica. I recently change units, smaller to bigger and she was such a great help. She called before move in to make sure I had everything I needed, and also helped me in person with my auto pay set up and even let me change my gate code so I wouldn’t keep forgetting it. My experience so far at this location has been wonderful and I thank Jessica for all that she has done to make mine a 5 star experience.

They need to clean all the nails up out of this parking lot near 45th and Havana off of i-70. My car is caught two nails over the past year from here. ...And now they're going up only renting my unit by $40 a month. Last year they went up $30 on this same unit from the year before. This place is super expensive and I would not recommend it to anyone. They're just gouging people and getting over on us because they think people are desperate for storage but there's competition out there... I'm looking elsewhere so I can keep some money in my pocket for other things...
I've been storing stuff for a while now and have a good experience each time. The staff is super nice and understanding. I had an issue I had to go in for and Jessaica was there to help me as well as letting me know what needed to be updated.
Would definitely come back! They really helped me out in between housing situations. Shoutout Jessica for being so awesome!

Been customers here for the last 5 or 6 years with 2 storage units. Never had any issues or problems. Easy access, fair prices and great employees, especially Jessica, who went above and beyond today for us even though she was swamped with more than one property. Thanks, Jessica!
Matt did phenomenal job; made the initial check in for my first time renting a unit quick and plainless. Very easy process and I got unit easily accessible to the outside door.
They stole my property after a supposed "fire" required them to cut the lock off of my unit to "inspect" for damages. Their orange door insurance refuses to honor my claim. Stay away from this place. The property manager was upfront just farting..... Like dude I'm right here and can hear and smell you. Overall a very shiesty place and I'll never use again.
I would not ever do business with public storage again. Definitely not this location. I got a storage unit and turned around the same day and told them I didn't need it. I was promised back a refund. But no one three months later has given me a refund. Of my 172.50, if you need a storage dont do business here not at public storage. Its alot of other professional places.

I want to personally thank Nate for making my experience at Public Storage a positive one. He was helpful and kind on a stressful day moving out of a storage unit. This PS location was clean, efficient and couldn’t ask for anything else.
+ Good location, close to I-70.
+ Mostly clean and maintained.
+ Helpful staff.
+ Easy access and move in.
+ Manned security overnight when closed.
- They jack up your price 6 months in. 28% in my case. Hard to justify if not for a bait and switch.
- They used to have carts to move stuff around. I haven’t seen any lately.
- Trash in the hallways on occasions.
- Not always staffed, almost impossible to have someone pick up the phone.
I just moved out as I didn’t see the value of it anymore.
Nate was very helpful, and informative awesome work.
Nate went above and beyond! Could not recommend this location more - simply because of the EXCELLENT management!
My name is Dean Esquibel. I was definitely happy for as long as I had a unit here. Never once had any issues. Staff were always polite, friendly, helpful, professional. Just on top of everything altogether, especially Nate. Definitely gonna miss him.
Would definitely love to see more individuals like Nate in ANY business I go to. The world needs more of him.
Seems great when you first sign up. Then they increase your rent without much notice. Then they add $20 late fee if you are 4 days late. I had my unit for over 12 months and misunderstood the final date by 2 days and lost all my belongings. I was 30 days late and they said there was nothing I could do. I called over and over because priceless family things were in there. Thier website says you will receive back personal property such as paperwork and photos. Called to confirm that, left VMs in tears three or four times. NO call back. 3 days later, blocked my number and was picked up on the second ring. He repeated he understood how important those items, that he would call his regional manager and who bought the unit to help me reclaim some items. That was two weeks ago. Still ZERO communication. I am very aware that its not their responsibility I lost my unit. However, I did pay almost $100 in rent for over a year every month. He could have taken the calls and said he couldn't help me. I started out with a unit that was $17 a month and that lasted about 2 months. Don't be late or you will pay.
The people who run this facility are the best ,Nate was so helpful and friendly the facility always clean .
Wonderful staff, easy to rent online or in person. They are very helpful in finding storage sizes and needs. Clean and kept up spaces and secure.

Jessica was amazing in helping me work through an issue with the eRental process. I called as soon as she walked in most likely and she was exceptionally nice and helpful for an extended period of time until we had the issue resolved.
Very straightforward and quick renting process. Staff knows what they are doing and are professional. Facility is clean and we'll maintained. The process gets goopy with all the emails, texts, the app, and the insurance. This is all the corporation's fault with lack of consideration of the user experience. I don't need 5 emails and two texts to tell me almost nothing. The insurance is just a way to suck more money out of the customer. Big time sinks on those items.
I feel like this place is second home and I have NEVER met the staffing like that I have this warming Sense that i was at h ok me or around family members of the Realest THINGS IN LIFE OUTSIDE of that itself,life calms us and stresses us as MUCH as one

They advertise contactless rentals... Appreciated the easy check in but had to say hello unfortunately though.
Two times since I've been renting here just 3 months that my gate code was disabled and they required me to contact management. Refusing me completely from getting into my storage facility until office hours and taking up much time and/or gas for everyone involved??
There's early and late access hours, there's office hours, I work and can't make office hours every day, because I travel for work around the state I also live out of my vehicle and require swapping out tools, equipment, and essentials regularly.
First time I came in before closing and when I drove out the gate that night I was something like 5 minutes late or less driving out the gate that closes 9pm. Days later ragged and tired, my code doesn't work and I'm refused access during extended hours. I never received a call or email and had no clue until I'm left in a bind. Can't get in to storage and can't call for access... I called next day and they verbal warned me on the phone and turned code back on the next day....
2nd time and final issue and I now refuse to stay a customer. I showed up late hours, and code denied access... Running late and needing inside badly for essentials... Next day couldn't make it during office hours no matter what, still needing access later.... I called and was told someone else has been using my key code at the gate... I have to come to the office to get allowed access again.....
Day after finally I show up, and their upset with me??? Manager very rude and threatening....tells me that I showed up at 5:30 am and punched in my gate code, we don't open til 6... Then I backed up my vehicle and drove off possibly heading for work...
So you shut me off??? Wasted everyones time??? Cost me real money and time detouring out of my way during the negative experience. Demand no matter what I can't be treated with contactless rentals??? And blamed me with threatening attitude about it???
Sorry I forgot to get coffee first and glance at the clock??? 1 STAR THANKS, MUST HATE YOUR JOB IF U ACT LIKE ITS THAT BAD.... HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND DOES COMPANY POLICY EVEN EXIST???
Excellent service, Jessica provided everything I would need promptly and professionally.
So, I had sticker shock when my monthly rate increased after 6 months by 40%. It took several phone calls, but then the regional manager, Dennis, contacted me after I initially published a review and agreed to a credit that softened the blow for a couple of months, which I greatly appreciated.
I thought I needed a unit asap and Jesse was extremely helpful and polite. Then I found out by end of day that I didn't need it and Jesse was nice enough to cancel for me and very gracious. Would recommend this facility to anyone.
I love that my stuff is always clean, dry, and secure here! Jess and Connie in the office are always kind and helpful!

This location is very clean, and conveniently placed. The staff is extremely helpful and patient they are ALWAYS VERY POLITE. The ladies that run the office are professional and I've never had any issues or negative interactions with any of the staff. I highly recommend this location and will continue using their services for storage needs. Many thanks and thumbs way way up to them for outstanding service and a great location all around!

I had an awesome experience at this location both Connie and Leona were friendly and very helpful. They answered all my questions in a timely fashion and both had very inviting attitudes were very good. If you need I would recommend this place 1 million percent. They are the best.
Spoke with Jenn today January 19, 2022 about getting my bill paid on my storage unit and she was so very helpful I would definitely recommend this location to any friends and family that need storage space. I have had my storage for close to 8 months and I have never had any problems that they were not willing to help me fix.
