Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 10810 Vanowen Street, North Hollywood, CA

Hayden at the NoHo area location on Vanowen has restored my faith in the company after staying away from them for years. Great customer relations, friendly, sense of humor, and seemed to genuinely appreciate my business.

I would not recommend to use this storage, just rent elsewhere but not here. They overcharge your account from day 1.

My experience has been well except for in the first week I’ve had a bag stolen. I am certain it was stolen outside the property in the gated parking lot in the corner closest to the back gate on the side street. I went to address it, to the staff nothing was really done. I would’ve at least expected them to review the cameras to see if someone within the storage unit could have taken it. If so, I would believe that whomever it was, that they would be A liability in the storage and violating the rules of agreements. That could happen to somebody else as well.I lost material things and things of value such as 2 power banks, and a portable battery charger for my vehicle, which is not a cheap purchase. It is very upsetting, and I hope I get some more feedback back on that, however, with that everything else has been as expected, and very well managed and ran by the employees.

The BEST humans work here!!! I originally was only going to rent for just a few months and ended up renting for over a year!! Clean facility. Perfect climate control. Great staff. Chris and Stephanie were absolutely the most incredible leaders for this property! I could not have been guided and supported by a better team. This was the smoothest part of my otherwise crazy move!! I would highly recommend this storage facility and I highly recommend Chris and Stephanie get a raise!!! They were perfection and I’m forever deeply grateful. And if David still works there he was phenomenal too!!! Thank you guys so much for taking such good care of my property/units and making the experience seamless!!!!

So far I’ve reserved my unit and everything was so easy and I couldn’t be more grateful. I chatted with Ryan on the phone to secure my unit and he was extremely patient and kind. I’m looking forward to having an easy move in :)

Facility is clean and well kept compared to other public storages. Haden has helped us get the right space at the right price for our necessities, he always answers our questions and is very helpful. I would recommend this public storage to my family members and friends.

I’m loving the new building compared to how it’s used to be. The manger Haden, help me out with my reservation in the second floor. The lobby looks well kept and elevator looks clean. So far I’m loving the place.

It's clean and they make it simple by having flat bed dollies available and you can access all gates and doors within the app. It serves it purpose and I am pleased.

The new worker there, Stephanie I believe, made the rental process real simple. The property is kept clean, and i highly recommend talking to Stephanie if you you're interested in getting a storage unit.

I have been trying to speak with an associate at the location all day since 11am until 5. Every time I call it has busy signal. Then when I am transferred from the call center it just rings until the voicemail. For what they charge a customer should be able able to speak to someone at their location within a 6 hour time period.

Chris and Haden made the rental process real simple. The property is very clean and the place is well secured highly recommend!

Difficulty reaching by phone on the weekends. Initially the welcome service was awesome. Very frustrating when they say call urgently and they don't answer the phone, bill paid still very uncomfortable.

Very good location probably my favorite throughout the valley super friendly front desk . Lowest prices around too so that’s a plus for me .

This public storage at first seemed like a nice safe place to come and bring your stuf now truth be told this place is a hangout for the local drug addicts they come they get high in the bathroom and they leave their needles around and they go back to the streets and then come back whenever they feel like getting high again don't come to this place this place is dangerous and your stuff is probably not safe

I moved in back in August, I am a pandemic nurse who dedicated his life to helping people and in September I became unemployed through no fault of my own. Shortly before that, my car broke down and through a series of costly repairs my accounts became drained very quickly, I fell behind, I notified both storage companies "Price Self Storage" & this facility, Price refused to work with me, charging me astronomical amounts for their spaces to rent, and their staff are notoriously rude. They don't interact with you at all unless they want money from you. If you need anything from them they stare at you with a look that seems to say "how dare you talk to me" Thanks to their over priced units I racked up quite the bill extremely quickly so much so that by the time I found steady work again it was going to take me time to save up the payment. In the end the contents of my storage locker were sold at auction for a $100 meanwhile the contents of the locker were easily 15x that. Lets discuss security, simply put, unbeatable. The site has 3 sets of locked security doors that can only be unlocked by your phone, then once inside you have your actual security lock on your unit. Public storage worked with me during this time, they understood my struggles and they made me deals, trusted me, and sympathized with me, and in the end? I am not gainfully employed again, suing my old employer, and i am up to date on payments and enrolled in autopay with public storage. Silver linings.

Within 12 hours of this post a new rental increase notice arrived. Heads up.... when reserving online prior, at check in they Changed pricing because of Known Internet problem, they hadn't fixed. As a result, at moving in they upcharge. "Oh, did you get a confirmation #?" Uh, no. "Well, sorry." Kinda stuck at that point, rental van, movers, committed. Especially in an immediate situation, I feel they use that to their advantage. After moving in, the second month they sent a notice "your rent is increasing, blah blah blah." Don't get me started on the freaking complimentary dolly's... Sad face.

I recently had the pleasure of utilizing the services at Ryan, David, and Chris Public Storage, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. The facility is well-maintained, clean, and secure, providing a sense of confidence in storing my belongings. The staff, including Ryan, David, and Chris, were incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to assist me in finding the right storage unit for my needs and ensured that I understood all aspects of the rental agreement. What impressed me the most was their commitment to customer service. They were always approachable, friendly, and willing to address any questions or concerns I had. It’s evident that they take pride in maintaining a positive and customer-centric environment. Moreover, the security measures in place at this Public Storage facility are commendable. I felt reassured knowing that my belongings were stored in a safe and monitored space. The convenience of access hours also added to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend Ryan, David, and Chris Public Storage to anyone in need of reliable and secure storage solutions. Their dedication to customer satisfaction sets them apart, making the storage process hassle-free and enjoyable. I will certainly choose their services again in the future.

***120% Recommend*** After getting ripped off badly at the previous storage place that had started me at $146 month #1, $179 month #2 and $233 by month #3 for an 8/10 storage room!! I called around and landed a conversation with Hayden. He booked my appointment and after he heard my story he showed me his rates (which are wayyy cheaper) and he ended up giving me a special rate that was available that day. I couldn’t be happier with the cleanliness, easy access and awesome management. Ask for Hayden, coolest guy on the planet!

Bait and switch. They don't tell you how much it will go up in a couple of months. They wait until you're moved in and committed. No commitment means they can raise month to month and are cold as ice about it being "legal."

Storage itself is good, but the people working here are extremely rude. If you have any problems... better yet, don't have any problems. If you do contact public storage call, the main company, don't call this location or talk to them. Trust me.

Be aware all the spaces at this facility have a height restriction, meaning that there is a "wire" ceiling so one is not able to stack beyond the top height of the space.

Public Storage Noho was a great experience! Jazz is extremely helpful and was able to create an easy storage experience for my partner and I! Thank you jazz!

I helped my friend unload a unit recently. Because of recent theft, they’ve started to collect a driver’s license in exchange for a key to unlock one of the carts. We finished unloading the unit around 6:30pm (well within the posted hours) but when we went to pick up my friend’s ID, no one was in the office. No attempt was made by any staff member to get it back to him before they left for the day. It took several phone calls to this location and others nearby to figure out when anyone would even be back the next day for us to grab it. In addition, this place makes it very difficult to get into the building and into the elevator with a code being required every time you walk through a doorway. Although it is very secure, it is incredibly annoying, especially when you are using a group of friends to move. One person is usually tasked with just keeping the front door open, so they can’t be helpful with the actual moving of items. Long story short, this place is very secure and safe but to the point of extreme inconvenience.

David was exceptional!! He was a tremendous help in walking me through the rental process. He has a great sense of humor and is extremely knowledgeable. Thanks again David!

Was very impressed with the simplicity of renting storage and the warmth of the staff helping at the front office— special thanks to Carla and Haden. My only complaint was that there was one or two fewer carts than there should have been for moving heavier items.

Rented a unit online came to the facility to find out it was to small, went to upgrade and customer service said I would lose all my promos and the web price. Came into the location where Haden & David assisted me in keeping the price from the web and my $1 special. I highly recommend Haden & David and highly recommended not dealing with the phone customer service because they are worthless

I am another disbelief of the way things went with this place. After the pandemic, me and my wife lost our home due to the fact that I was in a horrible car accident we were forced to pack our stuff up and put it in the storage facility from the first few times I was there, I was treated very badly at first started with harassment based on the fact that I had a lot of things around my car and while I was cleaning out my car after I gotten back from my trip for the holidays I was told that this is not a place where people hang out , very clear that I had a lot of stuff and I was taking it to my storage , yes, same day I was late leaving due to the fact that my car had electrical problems that I had never dealt with before I was receiving help from the worker there and they informed me that it was OK later that week after they took payment from me, they had terminated my contract after sending me just an email saying please do not do this again, from that point my stuff was locked up. I was not allowed to get it and long story short the day I came to get it I was waiting there at 6 AM. I was told that my stores would be open to me and it wasn’t. I came to get rid of my stuff and take it with me and go elsewhere. My truck that I was using was not there yet therefore they would not allow me to take my stuff. Needless to say, I left very angry and upset and now my stuff has been sold. There’s obviously a lot more to what is going on with this place has devastated me and my wife in a way that I can’t explain I’m beyond upset, my wife is devastated . Tools, car, parts, baby clothes, everything that anybody owns that I owned was in that storage now it’s gone
