Atwater Village Storage Units Near the 5 and 2 Freeways
This Public Storage, located in the trendy Los Angeles neighborhood of Atwater Village, is conveniently located on San Fernando Road just off the Glendale Freeway.
This facility features indoor units accessed from an interior hallway, as well as outdoor storage units which make vehicle loading and unloading a cinch.
With a property manager living at the location, and a keypad code required to enter the facility.
Sitting just north of the intersection of Interstate 5 and the 2, it's easily accessible for those in the surrounding areas as well, including Eagle Rock, Los Feliz, Glendale, Griffith Park and Cypress Park.

Really helpful staff, sadly there was some maintenance that didn’t allow us to access for a few days but we were well informed a few days in advance and the maintenance went by quicker than expected.

My property manager Ashley is extremely courteous and responsible. Today i made my payment at a different location and i was shocked to see Ashley there . I do not understand the logic of moving Ashley to a different location when her tnts need her at her location . Whatever genius came up with this idea needs to go back to the drawing board because this new procedure makes no sense . If it wasnt for Ashley being my manager i would of left public storage a long time ago . Instead of moving Ashley out of her office , please remove the employee who came up with this policy out of your building .

Good access. Clean. Secure. Service is great. Limited hours. Closes at 6 pm. My only complaint is at corporate. Raised rate from $220 per month to $365 in last 2 years.

There’s an ant infestation that’s been going on for weeks in my unit’s building. It’s easy to spot as the first unit next to the elevator has ants crawling out of it. It’s definitely not something the management can claim to be unaware of as they do regular walkthroughs and the ants are very visible when you face the elevator.
9:30-6pm is really not reasonable for the price they’re charging. The hours have gotten worse over time, it opened 8am when I originally rented my unit out. If you work normal business hours during weekdays you wont have time to access it during the week.
I’ve decided to move my stuff to a different storage company that is cheaper with better hours as this is the second public storage location in LA I’ve had bad experiences with.
I’m sure Public Storage will post a canned response to this with a hollow apology saying they were unaware and will look into it.

Ashley! What can I say??! First my gate code didn’t work- she gave me my new passwords to get in. Whew! Then…๐ณ the elevator died. Yeah. Luckily not with me in it. But Ashley to the rescue again. She showed me the stairwells, called the mechanic and is now diligently directly people as to how to renavigate to their units. Now- this cost me less time than I e is Ted because of her help…and that means A LOT!!
