I went to this storage facility to check it out in comparison to the others I have went to around the area and this one was beyond comparison it was clean and smells great and teddy was friendly and helpful and answered all my questions . I will definitely be bringing my business here ! .
Teddy was very helpful at the Durango location!
Total fraud. Paying $658 for a stated 10 x 25‘ storage unit, only to find after paying and signing the paperwork that is actually 7 1/2 x 26… A full 55 ft.², or the equivalent of over a 5 x 10 storage unit less than a stated. Public Storage refuses to do anything about it saying that they state “approximate” square footage, not actual. Approximate would be 8’ x 25, not 10 x 25. And, according to Teddy at the front desk there, I am the only person that has ever said anything about it! Talked to a district manager, who said that they would offer me a discount, however, no discount actually given, so another lie. Based on the price per square foot they are stating, I should be charged $541-ish for that storage unit, not $658! Thinking about contacting a lawyer. I took a video of the measurements and everything, however, Teddy at the front desk, just shrugged his shoulders and said “well all I can do is contact my district manager.” Had I wanted a 10 X 20 unit, that’s what I would have reserved. Now there’s not enough space, and I’ll have to pay even MORE to get another unit due to having less than 200 square feet instead of the 250 square feet that I signed for, thanks to them refusing to do any price change about significantly misrepresenting their space. Don’t sign ANYTHING without measuring first.
Teddy at this location gave an exceptional tour of the place, giving a sense of knowledge and confidence in the location and was a pleasure to work with.
I definitely booked a place here and highly recommend this P.S. temperature controlled, securuty monitored location.

I reserved a storage online, Teddy follow up with us. Came to facility man when I tell you this place is 5 star is clean smells good. The elevator works!!! We’re coming from our previous storage in Inglewood, the elevator was always out all year round. Anyways Teddy did awesome job giving us tour explaining all there policies. Because of him we felt good about this place. Totally recommend this place.
Best experience rating a storage space. There was a mix up with our reservation and Teddy made it all work out. During a very stressful time Teddy was my knight in shining armor. Was looking for a storage unit central to where I will be relocating, I heard about this property via word of mouth and decided to stop by to check out the available units. The property manager Teddy was all smiles and informative as he showed me some available units. The place is very clean and surprisingly smelled very well which I did not expect from a storage facility, you can tell they go above and beyond. Teddy was great and answered every question I had I’ll definitely be securing a unit here one my lease ends at the end of the month.

Teddy was very helpful deciding on the optimal unit for me. The facility is clean and quiet. Parking and loading/unloading is easy.
When you need extra storage, Public Storage is at the top of the list for price point, security and cleanliness. This review could not be complete without a shout out to Teddy who was so fun and had me laughing throughout check-in. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and did everything he could to get me in quickly and the best deal possible.
Had the best customer service from Brittany this past weekend. She showed me units that were available and explained how applying online made a big difference in monthly rent. I stopped back several times and she never hesitated to show me different units on each floor, just great customer service. I applied online and fortunately got the exact unit I wanted. She then walked me around and thoroughly explained how to operate the security gates and elevators and the required insurance. It's very clean here and it seems well secured. Thanks Brittany, really appreciate it.

Teddy is wonderful! He's hands down the best property manager. His superior customer service and pleasant attitude made the experience all the better. I highly recommend this location for several reasons. 1. Location, it's near many amenities. 2. Security, the loading zone is gated and has surveillance cameras everywhere. 3. Facility, units are clean and climate controlled. 4. In & Out Access (not the burger joint, though it is next door), loading can be quick as the facility doesn't get too crowded. 5. Parking, plentiful and wide spaces. 6. Hours of Operation, access hours start early and open late compared to other facilities in the area. 7. Management, high-five to Teddy. Superb service and a stand-up guy.

They say businesses are only as good as the people who represent them. Well, the very best thing about Public Storage on Durango is the manager Teddy, who keeps the place running with a smile. The parking lot is well taken care of and clean -- as are the halls, stairwells and bathroom. We recently had a malfunction with the door of one of our units and some damage to the lock on another; Teddy quickly swung into action and got both repaired lickedy-split.

The policies of this company are to teach their front desk people to force you into thinking you need their renters insurance. You do not , if you have your own . Secondly the women Judy that refused to help me was a further slap in the face after zero communication from the facility .

Folks who work here are really nice and helpful! Ercan is really great. Wish the monthly bill didn’t increase over the few years I had a storage unit, but other than that, nothing but good things to say.
Been at that property for the last 3 years, customer service has always been horrible, from the district Manager who's clueless about what service should be about. In fact all the Managers have been very rude for the most part at the exception of one, regrettably no longer with the company ! ...even to make a simple phone payment is a horrible experience at corporate level...elevators always breaking down doesn't help either and the frequency of rates increases....ridiculous ! Finally, the highlight of that location is JASMAINE !!! who's so great at what she does and very consistent each and every times ! keep it up JAS !! you're the best...and thank you :)

This company is clueless , reckless and heartless they decided to auctions my belongings for only a balance of $ 165 right in the middle of Covid-19’s imagine that !!! a 4 bedroom’s house filled with stuffs just so they can recover $ 165 back payments. If you can help it "do not do any business with these peoples"….better off. trying other’s storage companies. They're awful !!!

I had an amazing experience renting space here. The property manager Robin is also the greatest person! He helped us with our move out and everything went seamlessly. This location is also really convenient to access. The facility is clean and bluetooth access is pretty cool. My partner and I stored our stuff here for a year and a half while we traveled through South America. All of our stuff was safe and sound in the climate controlled unit. Thanks again Public Storage Durango. You guys are the best.
Worst rip off in USA. Will jack up monthly rent every six months. Takes advantage of people in the worst of ways. If you have any other option besides these crooks, use it.

Our unit was broken into, and we lost all sorts of valuables.
On top of that, most of the staff who work here seem to hate their jobs. I imagine they are underpaid but still it makes coming here a real bummer because they seem to take it out on you.
Even though the restroom is behind, at least, one passcode protected gate, it is always locked and in order to get to the key you have to go into the front lobby but those doors are always locked and when getting the staff to open the door to the lobby just so you can get the bathroom key they make you feel like you’ve completely inconvenienced and ruined their day even though they’re sitting, maybe 5 feet from the door. we just usually went to the shopping center next-door and used the bathrooms at the Starbucks because it was less of a hassle than using the one that was right there inside Public Storage.
There’s only a couple carts so most days if you come here, getting a cart is not likely to happen.
The neighborhood is completely overrun by encampments of unhoused people, and everything that comes with that.
But, given all those issues, the main problem was that, despite the multiple layers of keypads that you have to use to get into the building or to use the elevator, and of course, the pad locks and keys , even still , our 2nd floor unit was broken into and our items strewn all about and many were broken and things were stolen. The insurance that Public Storage requires you to purchase only covers up to $5000 of loss but we lost far far more than that.

My mother and I have been storing here for years, and it is now Way cleaner than it used to be! There is a manager there named Robin, who has been a big help, as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clean and safe place to store your belongings.

We had a 10/10 perfect experience with this Public Storage, thanks to Larissa and Troy.
We occupied a unit from June 2021 to May 2022. On walking in, the staff were friendly and receptive to our particular needs. They showed us to a unit that had just opened up, which was especially convenient because it was close to the exit. We were impressed by the security, the air conditioning, the cleanliness, the ease of parking and entering/exiting the unit. It made all the difference knowing our stuff was in a safe place that we could always access and that we would not have any headaches/red tape on ending our rental. We also really appreciated being able to keep two U-Boxes on the lot overnight (since we moved our stuff from storage into the Boxes).
Extra pluses include proximity to In-N-Out (clutch during exhausting moving...) and that they have storage supplies on hand when you need something ini a pinch.

I Came by to see if there was something available in the size I needed. Unfortunately there wasn’t but the manager at this location was nice enough to search other locations near by so I wouldn’t have to make a blank trip. He even called to make sure he was so nice.
