It's a great location for cypress residents for storages but I would I only suggest going to your storage unit during the day rather than at night because the crackheads, thefts will follow you in from your gain access in the front and try to get in the elevator with you, so be aware.

There is a issue of safety and security one of the renter complained about his room was stolen most expensive

As of July 2024, I highly recommend do not rent from this storage location until they properly secure the facility. I’ve been a tenant since Simply Storage 4 years ago & the switch over to Public Storage a year ago. I recently had a unit broken into without proper security cameras in the facility compared to what Simply Storage had. The building is unsecured until Public Storage puts in new security cameras & has proper identification for new tenants, anyone can gain access to this building by signing up online without identification. When Public Storage took over Simply Storage at this facility, they removed all the proper cameras that were previously provided by Simply Storage. This facility needs to be secured immediately & tenants personal items are vulnerable as of now.
Update note: Do not rent from this facility until Public Storage fixes their security issues within this building. Units are easily vulnerable without proper security cameras that were previously in place by Simply Self Storage and removed by Public Storage within the last 10 months without notifying customers who were with Simply Self Storage. Public Storage also needs to immediately fix all the units to prevent future thefts. If you are a current tenant for over 10 months before the switch over, check your unit now if you haven’t within the last 3-6 months.

We haven’t moved in yet but my experience booking the space was very easy and I was very impressed with the manager, Cinthya. She showed me the space, explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable choosing this facility over the many other options around. The whole facility is very clean and tidy. Climate control is clearly working well. The elevators are large and seem very new.

Horrible, stay away from this storage, they don't warn you when the price increases, it's not 1, 2, 3 dollars, it's twice what you paid, they don't warn you when the payment will increase the value, terrible, TERRIVELLLL It started with 59, jumped to 73, then 95, and finally 183$, I leave my revolt there, not even a month ago and my things were blocked, lack of respect for the client, put professionals to work, ☆☆ REVOLTED, I WANT THE MY RIGHT AS A CONSUMER.

I have to give this storage center a five star due to its customer service. Rachel DePina is always very professional and helpful every time I enter the facility (almost daily). She has done an amazing job regarding the transition of owners and has made sure that the change would not disrupt accessibility or the quality of care. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for s storage unit.

My Aunt who has been renting space in Simply Self Storage for years in this location is sad to leave because the staff are superb! Rachel is a very compassionate person and very personable. My aunt can attest to that as well as my family... always ready to lend a helping hand.. great manager ,( i think she is, at least!). I think every company should have someone like her- We live out of state ,East Coast and was helping my aunt move out and she facilitated everything including explaining the storage co. policy and payment arrangement online etc.. just so it will be easier for my aunt and us to transactions remotely while we keep a smaller storage still. Thank you, Rachel.. your caring meant so much to my aunt and my family!

As for the facility itself, I cannot say anything other than it is excellent! It’s clean, safe, well lit, and very well maintained. If you need a storage unit, this is the place to rent it. Oh, did I mention it is safe, with no dubious loiterers or shady folk lurking about.

The associates are very welcoming and helpful, and their customer service is great. My only complaint is that the building has at least four restrooms and they are nearly always locked whenever I've been there, like 99% of the time. And when one is open, it's only the first one on the first floor. What's the point in having restrooms if they're rendered unusable? If I suddenly need to use a restroom while in the middle of moving things in or out of storage, I have to put everything away and lock up before getting in my vehicle and driving to the nearest business with a public restroom, as I don't feel comfortable just leaving my things out and unsecured. This means I usually have to wait at least 10 minutes before I can get to a restroom, all while doing physical things that make it difficult to maintain control of one's bodily faculties. It'd be less annoying if there were no restrooms to begin with, but they're there. They were built and then locked away to never be used. It's frustrating, because it's otherwise a wonderful facility. Always clean, good lighting, great location next to my campus and down the street from my work. Some trash bins might be nice, but I'm nitpicking at that point.

My unit got broke into and over $4000 worth of property stolen. They climbed in through the top of the unit. Be aware that there is transients that live in the storage facility and the managers do not care. Do not use this storage facility because they could care less about your belongings, they say the insurance will cover it. Not when it’s over the $2000 limit and when it’s irreplaceable items. I have heard from numerous other tenants that their units have either been tampered with or broken into also. Cheapest price in town but I would rather pay $700 a month for my things to be safe.

my unit got robbed on middle of this month. I believe i will have no problem with the company long as my stuffs are stay there safe. i kinda like the property, very. clean, easy access, office staffs are nice, if there is no problems, but this is what happening to me now ,
I notice my lock has damaged and wont open it, so i called the office staff Chris ( prob manager) talk to him and we check in side the unit from top using a ladders.
soon as I look in side, i notices some body break in to my unit and missing most of my things that is valuable.
and I find out there's camera on 2nd floor, are not working! for a long time Chris said. and He wont let me see the videos to check if some one taking out my stuffs to out side.
I cant able to see the videos only he can show to police when they come and request. i called the police to file the report. but to see the videos detective need to come out to investigating, it will take few days.
I ask Chris to saving the videos because it will only save for 7 days. so I dont want videos getting deleted by the time. I even offer him to bring the hard drive to use, but he said he cant help me.
I feel like he is doing " i am really sorry but thats not problem. why should i help you to taking my time." to me.
so, I was ask him if there is camera not working for long time Why did you sign me there with out notify me those problem ( middle of may i sign the unit). if i knew i wouldn't get that unit at the first place.
and Its currently going on with me, now i need to file the claim, consider moving out from the unit of rest of my stuffs. police list of lost. very upset about it happend to me.
I will update my experience after my case is close.

I recently leased a 5 x 10 from Simply Self Storage after comparing prices and service with competing self-storage companies. The industry is competitive on pricing, and so for me it all came down to the communication and service . I chose Simply Self Storage because Chris Ayala was was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. He joined me on a conf call with with my property insurance company to get my insurance set up, answered all my questions about the facility, explained the proposed lease terms in plain english and gave me a quick tour of the building and my spot before I signed the lease. I’d recommend Simply Self Storage in a heartbeat.
Bob was super helpful in assisting us. We hadn't been to our storage units for the last 6 months. So, we came in just to check if our unit is secured and intact. He helps us get our unit numbers and codes again. Also, Bob had updated our payment card on the account we used to pay for the units. Great services, very efficient and pleasant to work with. Thank again for your help. Oh, yeah explaining how to use the bar codes to get into the building and access anything we need to do when there is no one here.

WARNING: DON'T FALL THE THEIR "DEAL", THEY'LL TAKE IT FROM YOU DOWN THE ROAD( IN 2 OR 3 MONTHS), LIKE IT OR NOT!
Every 3 months or so, they'll raise your rent, although they said it's in the contact, it is not. It's a gray area they claimed. They don't mind upping rates whenever they want, but at the same time they DEMAND that you give them a 2 week notice on move out or they will charge you for full month. Moreover, once they change you on the first of the month, move out on the 2nd they will NOT give you a refund. Such a scam. I would rethink before storing you items here.
