Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1350 Concord Ave, Concord, CA

This is the worst storage experience you will have. The facility is very old and the wall kept shedding wood chips onto whatever you’re storing. I reached out to the management and they said “it’s an old facility, we can’t do anything about it”. Within a month or so, the management increased the rent. I signed up for $89 rent online and ended up paying $152 - only 3 months after moving in. Had to empty and get out after all that hassle. I don’t understand where the good ratings came from. AVOID.

Honestly, I'm more of a restaurant/food spot type of reviewer, but Tammi, the property manager, made renting a space super easy, fast, and friendly! Her attitude and willingness to help! Above and beyond! She even clarified any doubts or questions that I had.

Tammi in Concord site was very helpful, nice and friendly. She assisted me in what to expect on renting a storage and how to get the app on my phone, so it would be easy, whenever I got to my storage.

We had some questions regarding public storage process and policys. We stoppedby the concord location and talked to Tammi the manager and she was able to answer all of our questions and concerns. She ws very sincere with us . Our questions were probably silly but she was very professional and made us feel at ease and secure in making a decision to rent with pu lic storage over all the othersin town.

This location continues to be the Best place to rent storage units. I have worked with the staff and Tammi many times and refer my friends and family to her for any storage and even packing material. Tammi takes pride in her job and you can tell in how she helps her clients and how well the place is maintained. I will continue to be an advocate for Public storage. Specifically Tammis location in concord Blvd. Keep up the great job! My elderly family member was moving and i referred her to see Tammi. we called to schedule an appt to see the unit and get pricing. I have to say Tammi is the nicest, sweetest person ever! Tammi was so patient with us and explained the process very well. The grounds are kept clean and tidy. i can’t say enough good things about tammi and this public storage. i will continue to refer my friends and family here for as long as Ms. Tammi is here to always help!! Kudos Tammi for always going above and beyond (which is probably your normal) :) and always being courteous and professional. especially in the world today where people are mean and Rude and impatient. Tammi you are like a breath of fresh air!! keep doing what your doing!!

I lost my door code (not the gate code) and she was responsible enough ti reply to my phone call both by reaching out with a phone call and shooting me an email with the information I needed. I had called the 800 number and they weren’t helpful. It was such a relief that she was prompt and friendly in her response time and attitude. Thank you Tammi!!

Nothing in this World would have gotten in my way of writing this review I began renting a space at this Storage In the beginning of 2024 I was going through the most difficult time in my Life I spent hours looking for the best rate just as I decided to give up ,I Called Public Storage it was like hitting the jackpot to me I spoke To Tammy She Welcomed me with her Beautiful Smile she’s very knowledgeable , Patient & Helpful She Really Enjoys her Job ! The Greatest Customer Service I’ve seen in 10 years I’m so Attached to her she’s my #1 Favorite 🏅

I got a unit here and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and easy to use the facility is. But mostly I’m impressed with the staff. I got a unit and immediately realized it was too small after I filled it up on the first day so few days later I upgraded my unit to a bigger one and Tammi the Facility manager took the initiative to Give me a call when she saw my name come in her system again. We spoke over the phone and she helped make the process very smooth. I like my unit and plan on keeping it :)

Wonderful, helpful and efficient! We moved our office and Tammy was a great help leading up to and day of the move. We needed to make some last minute changes due to the amount of stuff our office had so reserving an additional unit was very easy. The online portal is very user-friendly. We are in the process of a full-gut remodel of a very small retail space in downtown Walnut Creek. Being that we are in 'construction mode', we needed a space to stage items that we have ordered to have on-hand when our contractor needs them. We considered a POD (or something like it), but unfortunately don't have the physical space on-site to accommodate it. Went to The Walnut Creek location of Public Storage, and they didn't have any units that were drive-up (exterior units) available. The staff there asked if we would like to be placed on their waiting list. Before I could even answer, Dominique had jumped on the Public Storage website, and let us know that a 10' x 15' drive-up was currently available at their location on Concord Avenue. Better yet...closer to Home Depot! Booked online and got everything set-up within moments. Super easy! Arrived yesterday to install my cylinder lock and return the Public Storage-issued one, as I already have my own. Upon entering the office, I was warmly greeted by Tammi, who I believe is the property manager for that location...she mentioned that she has been there at that location for eleven years. She answered my questions about access for additional people (3 contractors + business owner + investor), in addition to myself, and walked me through the Public Storage app on my iPhone - explaining how access to the facility works. Then she went ABOVE AND BEYOND...she locked the office, and walked me to my storage unit to ensure that everything was as expected. The unit was not just broom-clean, it was impeccable! (And, trust me, that comes from the King of OCD!!) The entire facility is spotless and well-maintained, and Tammi is a HUGE asset to this company...no wonder she's been there as long as she has. Super friendly, efficient, organized, and knows her products and services. She made everything really easy and turnkey. Tammi is a very kind person, and it is clearly evident that she takes great pride in her job with Public Storage!!! Overall, an AMAZING experience. Highly recommend!!!!

Tammi was so very helpful. Not only did she patiently wait for us to decide on a particular size unit, she helped us search for the best deal around. My family and I had just lost a family member and we hadn't thought about every detail. Tammi was there to help us out thoroughly. Not only was extremely friendly and considerate, she was sure that we got a drive up unit because my stepmother was in a wheelchair and we need an easily accessible unit. The location of this concord public storage is easy to get in and out of, as well. On a side note, their public restroom is very clean too

Update to my earlier review. The public storage on Concord Ave. in Concord, California continues to be a great place to store our items. In the past two years we have been helped in a number of ways by the manager, Tammi. One of the ways is that we broke a key off in a lock on one of our units. Tammi was very helpful in getting the lock off successfully. Another way that she was really helpful is in letting us know when a bigger unit became open so that we could easily consolidate our items. When we have questions, she is quick to answer them and when she needs to call back does so promptly and when promised. She is a pleasure to deal with and great asset to the company.

Tammi has really made some awkward payment moments so much less stressful. Thank you for your empathetic customer care- it really goes a long way

This was a great location to store my furniture until I was ready to move. The drive-up location of the unit was super easy to load/unload furniture and the mover truck had no problems maneuvering around the complex. Using the app for gate access was a gamechanger. The staff is super nice, but I didn’t get to interact with them much because I had virtually no problems the 3 years I rented my unit. The unit was reasonably priced and all my stuff was protected from the elements.

TAMI IS THE BEST, HELPFUL AND VERY SWEET, THE GATE AND THE DOOR TO ENTER YOUR UNITS AREA BOTH HAVE key pads to enter, the place is very secure and clean.. I rented A 5x5 ' unit and was able to put 3big barber chairs and other things in it...tami also supplies you with a lock on your unit. GO SEE MRS TAMI. TELL HER AL SENT YOU..!

Easy set on move in day. Very Friendly and Professional greeting with an at home feel that makes you feel welcome and comfortable. I did most of the set up online , which , also was hiccup free and on an organized, and easy to navigate web form. Prices are at or below competitors and units are clean, quiet, and easily accessible . I highly recommend this facility to anybody that needs a place to store there extra items. units are bigger here compared to other facilities in the same price range .

Tammi was incredible! She explained to me the sizes of units versus lockers. Took me to view a unit similar to what I was in store for. Then, since her location didnt have any units that I was looking for, she shopped around with me in the area to see who did. All the while having one of the most pleasant personalities I have come across when dealing with someone in customer service. No exaggeration, Tammi was a fortune to come across. Facility is very well kept and have never had a problem getting in to access my unit. Began my rental through the Public Storage app and couldn't recommend it more, especially if you don't particularly like interacting with anyone. But if that isn't important to you, Tammi in the front office is wonderful. She made my rental cancellation very quick and painless, even went as far as to ask me why I was leaving the facility, which I'm sure you don't get everywhere. A+ service at this location.

Darlene, was extremely helpful, pleasant, and friendly. She was very warm and welcoming and addressed all my questions. I would highly recommend Public Storage. Writing this review to give a big THANK YOU to Tabitha, who helped us out tremendously. We are so lucky Tabitha happened to be covering at this unit because the rep who was working a couple days prior was rude, and inflexible. The first rep was very rude and short with me and didn't even let us explain our situation before telling us it was too late to cancel our storage and we may as well just leave our stuff for another month. When Tabitha called, she was knowledgeable, understanding, and pleasant. If it weren't for Tabitha, I would have left this facility 1 star, but Tabitha turned our view of this company around 100% She looked into our storage, followed up, and left a note to the appropriate personnel regarding our situation. THANKS again, TABITHA for being a human and taking time to help your customers.
