Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 6240 Sylvan Road, Citrus Heights, CA

The worst place of all, where the subject is not treated like a human being! And if you don't speak English, you're nobody and your name is nothing. I sold some stuff to the guys in the parking lot. I had no idea it was illegal in their parking lot. They limited my time, okay. No one else came to see me here. And today they put up the eviction paper. In two days! So they steal our stuff and money. I have payment until the end of the month, which they also take for themselves

The storage company is fine. The employees are rude. Twice with two different employees at the sylvan location has been a horrible experience for me while being a costumer at this location. They do not have any respect and will come at you with attitude like they don’t care about you as a person. Highly recommend a different storage facility.

Decent storage space, but terrible driving area. If you're carrying a trailer, good luck. There is no space for U-turns and it closes at 6:00. The phone line also does not work.

If you rent here you need to be very aware of how quickly they will start to increase prices on you. Our rate more than doubled and were were paying more than double what they are charging new tenants. At first no big deal and you don't think about it. Then all of a sudden you realize you are paying a small fortune to store junk.

I love my storage unit here! The store manager was so helpful with providing information regarding the unit and store hours. Love the location and that it's not a huge lot, I highly recommend getting a unit here if you're looking for one! Very clean as well compared to ones I've used in the past.

The worst customer service. I did not know I had to remove the lock it was a silender lock and a part of the door. I went to talk to someone today and no one was in the office so I took pictures and left. So I called and they said I owe the whole month because the lock was not removed. I was never told to remove the lock and the lock was on the unit when I rented it.

Delightful Experiance was easy and they let me look at units before I bought! Clean and safe. I would highly recommend. Yevwtte was awesome!

I’ve been with this Public Storage for a few years now the people here are the nicest. I absolutely love Makala. I don’t know if I’m spelling her name right but she is amazing. Always smiling always helpful always Considerate and very patient with me. I’m at the Sylvan branch, and every time I see her she’s greeting me with a smile. My belongings have been in storage for a while now, and all of your Public Storage staff has been very nice. Makala is awesome. Thank you for hiring such a friendly staff. I really appreciate you guys.

I don't like the hours and feel this place is overpriced. I do however, like the gate accessibility through the app. I also think it's awkward that there never seems to be an attendant in the office and you're only able to reach someone by phone at a all center if you have any questions or concerns. Overall, I do appreciate that my belongings never seem to be wet or damp and I do like that I'm able to drive up to my storage door. I think it's more convenient than indoor storages. But again, the hours are unreasonable and are usually during regular business hours which isn't good for people who work during those same hours and need to access their storage during the week.

I want to give a shout out to this location on sylvan road and to Jackie O… she called me out of the blue about my lock, apparently I was supposed to receive a public storage sticker when I rented the unit, a small over site, I love the fact that during Jackie’s walk around the property she noticed this and called me!!!! Made sure it was my lock and asked if I should come check my unit??? I love that in this day and age she was actually doing her job, not talking on her cell phone looking busy but she was engaged in what she was doing .. Not a week later, I myself got into the unit and forgot to lock it back up. She called me within 20 minutes of leaving and let me know it had been left unlocked, she had secured it for me and recommended I come check it out to make sure everything was still in there. This was a temporary state for us we’ve only been there two months our new place is ready but I feel very secure with her their Way to go Jackie O. you guys are lucky to have her. And thank you public storage on Sylvan Way

Thank you Yvette you were such a great help very informative and easy to talk to. I was downsizing and having a hard time deciding what space I wanted to down size too. Not only did she break down the sizes Yvette also physically showed me just to be sure since I was indecisive, broke down the price differences walking me through the process she also did a follow-up to be sure things went smoothly. It would've cost me an arm and a leg had she not been so informative thanks very much 🙂.

Storage facilities are suitable, managers are helpful. They upgraded some things inside and it's more user friendly now. Price is fine. Biggest disappointment is the hours, open until 6pm weekdays and 5pm weekends. So, not the best fit if you want to store a SUP board or bike in there and bring it out for the day now and again, but otherwise it's fine.

Yvette was fantastic. This was my first time using public storage and there were some technical issues on the site, so I stopped by to talk to someone in person. She was super patient, helped me select an appropriate unit, walked me through the whole process, made sure I had all the necessary codes. She was just incredibly helpful. Highly recommended!
